Hello, first of all sorry for my english
I want to know if exists any emergency rom from vodafone. I want this because I want to start with the rooted roms, but I'm afraid of making anything wrong and I'd like to recover to the original vodafone rom in case of error.

I tried the WWE-ROM with BigStorage now, but I just want to go back to the original TMO Germany ROM, cuz I don't have big advantages of it but I lose my warranty...
Now my Problem:
Upgrading to WWE was just easy as described in the Procedure.doc on the ftp. But what do I have to do to get the original ROM back?
I saved it as a German.nb1. D I have to use ntrw write German.nb1 h: ? (h: is my sd-card-slot)
That way it doesnt work, the Bootloader doesnt even recognize the ROM. When I backup my WWE-ROM to the SD-card and the use that ntrw command from above, the ROM is recognized, but after having updated it, I can't bot anymore.
Hope anybody can help

Seems like there's something wrong with your original rom-dump. Had it myself & it's a pain in the ***. Why not download the original German TMO shipped-rom & try it with the normal usb upgrade method?
Since your magician won't boot the software will probably tell you're upgrading from version blank, but that's no problem it will work. just put it into bootloader, connect usb & start the update program.

seems to work, I'm just upgrading it, just had to put it in bootloader-mode again and start the update-utility from t-mobile.de...
will report if it really worked later on

I don't need to upload it, its not even the most recent version (my original ROM was never, but I didn't find the original from TMO in a newer version :-( )
Just download it from t-mobile.de, I'm from Germany anyway...

Hi my name is Kostas i'm from Greece and i have a touch pro.i need some answers so i can do some update at my rom from 6 to 6.5.i found i rom that i like but i have some questions.
1.What CDMA is and what GSM,what is the difference and how i know which one i own.
2.To update to another rom i have to Hard SPL my phone?and what is this?do i hve to unlock something?
3.If i flash my touch pro can i install the Greek Language?

The easiest to explain (without going into the technology) is that a GSM phone most common has a SIM card while the "SIM" in a CDMA phone is a fixed install, you as a user / customer cannot change. Since you are in Europe I assume you do have a SIM card thus a GSM phone.
Most ROMs here in the forum if not otherwise specified are GSM and you do need to flash any than your carrier provided ROM.
You must have your phone SECURITY UNLOCKED (which is different from SIM unlocked) to flash a NON Raphael/Fuze Radio.
The ROM you quote IS a GSM ROM.

As mentioned to you in the Energy 3.0 thread, please DO some reading!
You first need to backup your PIM data (contacts), flash hardSPL (please look up the thread and download the software).
Afterwards you can flash a non carrier bound ROM (i.e. Energy ROM where you posted as well).
WITHOUT hardSPL you may BRICK your phone or get STUCK at 0% loading for ages.
Note:
Be aware that you have an original TouchPro not a branded ATT Fuze so you should read up front to get the right keyboard layout back, you'll find the "how-to" here in the forum.
ok 2 more questions for you please sorry if bothering.about hardSPL could you send the page to download it?after i do hardSPL i update with the rom i send you?at the post of this rom it says Download from EU Server > Regular / MSVC which i use Regular or Msvc?And last with right keyboard layout back you mean to bring back Greek language?

i still don't understand what you mean with the keyboard.i downloaded hardSPL and the MSVC rom i send you.now i'm ready to flash my phone?
First you have to flash hardSPL (read the corresponding thread) to allow to flash a non carrier provided ROM.
Afterwards you can flash the NRG ROM you want.
If you have Greek characters on your keyboard I cannot help you but answers HOW TO get the right keyboard layout are in the forum.
If you have the original TouchPro engl. layout just read NRG's first post!!!
If you own a Touch PRO, use the "Keyboard Selector" application under Utilities (after you flash the ROM) to select the proper keyboard layout to use. The ROM comes with the Fuze layout by default.

You have to change the MUI value in the reg to get the greek characters and keyboard working. Do a search for keyboard mapping or for MUI codes.
There is a Tilt ROM chef called B16B in the Tilt forum who is from Greece, you may contact him he may be able to help.
Perhaps there's something in this search but I don't know

Did you get the new UBKPD nor the old UBKB1? Did you make a backup of your efs folder? Did you use the Galaxy Sim Unlock of Hellroz?

As he says, you should have a backup of your EFS folder, also flash via Odin a Modem that features the bands that work in your country, for example we guys at Argentina use the LUBKB1 Modem
Hi Guys i know this its an annoying question but i'm from mexico so theres no mexican firmware in sammobile.com and even on internet so i need some tutorial or way to dump the firmware from on new phone. i just see a lot of tutorials making it with adb incluse theres and app in others devices that make it but nothing works on the note so ¿Any help? will appreciate a lot and even we can support you guys in your research. cause where from a spanish forum and we are lots that need the helo so msg me or just put it here.

Hi,
I have a problem with my ChaCha.
The touchscreen doesn't work anymore and now I want to give it back to Vodafone that they can repair it.
Because of the small internal storage I rooted it and deleted all of the vodafone apps and stuff with Link2SD...
But I forgot to make an backup of the original vodafone ROM (I know that this wasn't very intelligent ) and now I'm searching for a CWM Vodafone UK backup for my ChaCha which resets my device to the original settings with all apps.
My question is: where can I get such a backup from? or are there any other options to reset the phone to the original conditions of vodafone?
