Hi Guys i know this its an annoying question but i'm from mexico so theres no mexican firmware in sammobile.com and even on internet so i need some tutorial or way to dump the firmware from on new phone. i just see a lot of tutorials making it with adb incluse theres and app in others devices that make it but nothing works on the note so ¿Any help? will appreciate a lot and even we can support you guys in your research. cause where from a spanish forum and we are lots that need the helo so msg me or just put it here.
(Need odin format of the system not a CWM backup)

hi i bought a galaxy s2 sim free from amazon which i have decided to install a o2 sim card, anyway i was having so many problems upgrading my firmware to 2.3.4 useing Kies, in the end i decided to do it with Odin but heres the problem, i think i flashed my phone with a french firmware as im missing alot of content on the market place (my gf has the same phone and she can download things that dont appear for me) been in settings and made sure show all etc is ticked in the market but makes no difference, also the swipe keyboard dictionary was using a foreign dictionary i have changed that but still doesnt seem right so i was wondering if anyone can help me get the official 2.3.4 english firmware that i will be able to reflash my phone with using odin, i have searched everywhere and downloaded firmware from here but they dont come with PIT PDA file etc so i cant use them, im really stuck and any help will be much appreciated my phone version i have at the minute is XXKG1.

I'm looking for a little help with this phone, which I got via my brother who works in Korea. I've searched the forum and can't find a lot of discussion of E250's owned by UK residents. I'm on O2, and although the phone displays SKT in the toolbar it's unlocked for use here.
The issues I'm trying to resolve are are simply niggles, as most things function ok ..
1. Device not recognised by either PC or Mac in MTP mode. Drivers are downloaded and installed but device is still not recognised, even in Kies it doesn't work properly. I transfer files using Camera USB Mode.
2. SMS messaging is limited to 80 chars, and then switches to MMS. These arent readable on windows phones, although iOS and Android phones seem to receive them ok.
3. I have a bunch of Korean apps, and various Korean setting from the stock ROM .. but would I be right in saying it's impossible to flash this device with a regular International ROM?
4. Is there a specific thread or forum that I should be asking questions about this device in future?

flash the JEDI X rom but dont flash the modem and after that flash sjkrenel.. im using e250s too. buti ****ed up my internal storage and i need a pit file for the device to fix it. ^__^ good luck

First, root your device, then after that install the cwm mode n7100, after doing that i can now use the phone here in the Phillipines using any simcard of telephone provider here, you can now install titanium back-up to get rid of korean apps.

can cwm custom rom for n7100 be installed on SHV-E250S?
Hi everybody,
recently i bought phone from China - Cubot ONE. I've been happy with it until i lost signal bars and cant connect to any network. So i google it and i found out how to fix it. Just reflash your firmware with another one. So i could not find any FW for Cubot so i downloaded for Cubot GT99 what is very similar phone and i hoped its would be working. Unfortunetly its didnt work good. After flashing this FW i could not switch on my phone or get to the recovery. I think its probably hard bricked, but iam not sure if its can be fixed when i send it back to supplier or if its any chance to do it by myself... Please iam desperate and i need any advice. Thanks.

I have a mtk6575 azense one, and as far today I couldn't find the original rom (i have backup of the original rom)
and I see a "universal mtk6575 rom" on internet, but I dont trust in it. because I read it can be dangerous using a kernel
from other models.
If u cant access to the recovery to flash another you may need to use "Flash tool" with the correct rom it'll fix the bricked status
I also use MTK droid tools
I have my backup but I doubt it will work on yours.
Hello, Thanks for your reply. I already sort that out. I use MTK droid tools to flash older android on my Cubot One. I think its was hard bricked, because i cant switch it on. So i try just put cable in with removed battery and hold down volume down button and after that my windows recognise phone and install driver. So i quickly flash it with stock android v0.3 and its works. But unfortunately still i could not get any network. There show me just no service... I find out that maybe i have lost imei, so i put it back with MTK Android tools. Now i got Imei numbers for both sim cards, it can recoginze my network provider but still ŃO SIGNAL! Could anybody tell me what is wrong now? I have no idea. Thanks anyway for any ideas. Regards.

I am new to rooting phones and recently tried something on a galaxy S2. I had a korean version of S2 model SHW-250s which was locked. I lost my new phone so tried unlocking this myself...looked at some youtube videos some blogs and finally decided to use this method posted by someone:
1)Flash these two files using ODIN to convert the korean model into international version :
GTI9100_ext4.pit
9100XWLPW_I9100ODDLPC_I9100DDLPB_HOME.tar.md5 (stock ICS firmware for my country).
This successfully converted my phone to S2i9100.
2)Then to unlock I used a siyah kernel as posted by a developer :: Siyah-v3.2b8
This successfully installed SU and i checked using RootChecker apps that there is root access.
3)Then to unlock my phone i used GalaxSimUnlock app (did rooting as this app required root access)
This successfully unlocked my phone. I was able to call receive messages with new carrier.
I installed some more general apps used it for 5 days.
Sudddenly i started facing network issues. I was not able to make or receive calls. Strangely, I was getting data connection from network but not able to make or receive calls. I could not register on any network.
I tried running GalxSimUnlock app again and it said Unable to read NV data.Since I was naive i tried reinstalling the stock ROM and SIYAH kernel to see if it helps. It didnt.
When i researched further i came to know there's probably something wrong in the NV_data.bin file in EFS . But i hadnt taken backup of EFS previously. Now can anythng be done to restore the EFS and make the phone work? Please help me....
When i run GalaxSimUnlock app it shows everything in green except IMEI number which it blinks in red. But I am able to see a IMEI number and it doesnt look like something default. I am getting everything else MAC id, baseband version etc.

Hey Buddy....Thanks for replying....i just saw you have written you flashed the original ROM on your device again...but as I wrote I have flashed another ROM and didnt take back up of original one and cannot find the SKT korea S2 ROm for this one...Is it ok if i employ the procedure told by you without flashing original ROM...what is CSC? Is there anything else you wanna tell me before i start the process? please forgive for my ignorance Im quite new to all this...
You will have to ask on the thread I linked regarding the Rom. You will have the right experts for your device there.
CSC is sales code., you can check your ROM CSC by dialling *#1234# . First two digits represents country and last three represents release time.

The kernel you have is older. Latest SiyahKernel for the stock JB ROM he has on his device is SiyahKernel S2-v5.0.1.

I used FrankensteinS6 rom and im still using it but i need to wipe data and i did it.Then i can't use my sim card on the phone.I forgot backup also . I try to install official samsung rom and i did it but still no changing.I searched everything on the forum, google , youtube etc. but i can't save my phone. I try to repair it on Z3X and unfortunately nothing changes. I really need a help please.
