I today installed the RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID Rom on my existing Smart 1v2 it went fine but then at 95% it stopped saying .nbf file not supported with ur model now it only opens in bootloader mode n when i tried the JAMin orignal ROm JAMin_213923_2139126_022021_ship it says get a new one
PLZZZzzzzzzz someone help cuz Imate has only released this ROM............

try several times...sure it will work

Which rom should i try the NVID one or my JAMin ROm

Dude i tried like 7 or 8 times everytime i get the same errors
for the NVID I GET at 95 % this error
Error [326] INVALID COMMAND
this NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone.Please check your NBF file.
for the imate rom i get at the beginning
rror [296] Upgrade only
This NBF cannot be used for your phone.Please get newer NBF.

Put the device into bootloader and flash with an official ROM.

The device only opens in bootloader now n by da way i cannot use my imate official Rom so which should i try now............

Try downloading the official i-mate Jamin ROM. When you've downloaded the ROM skip the first to steps. Before it checks the device reset the device so you will have an USB connection. If you wait to long the USB connection gets lost.

You did a mistake when you upgrade to the useless 3.08 IPL SPL, I think you have less feature now with official ROMs
You can't flash your phone with any official NBF (ROM) unless you unlock the CID, to downgrade IPL SPL
Unlock your CID I think you have a G3 device and you can install any ROM you want, if you don't what G3 mean, look what G device you have in the WIKI
If you have G4 the only solution is Extract the NBF and make a new one without IPL SPL and you can install any ROM you want
But you didn't brick your phone ask before any step you will make before you brick it

Yes i have a G3 device n how can i unlock the CID plz tell me the steps n I will do as you will say...............

would it work on my stupid IPL SPL 3.08

No - once you have upgraded ipl/spl you are stuck with them. Do not got to v 3.08!!!

Doesnt matter now if im stuck well it WORKED my JAMin is again alive Thanks a lot again for telling me the link n thanks a lot for helping everyone out with the nb2nb tools n stuff n all the instructions n thanks to everyone for their advices All u senior members rock...........................

try to upgrade to latest Radio Rom and then try to upgrade the latest rom u would see its running ok

Highes IPL/SPL Versions win!
If you have install IPL/SPL 3.08 ... no downgrade in the moment!

Wats the advantage of this IPL SPL 3.08
i have only seen one change n its that I cant get my imate rom back without editing it n removing IPl Spl from it...............

rom before. i try this rom can complete to fixed the bootloader screen!

i think maybe the wm6 rom cht have the problem , then make the machine cannot finish to flash the system.

Dumping SPL

Hi,
I read the wiki and lot of thread again and again, but i never find answer to my question.
Is it possible to dump the original SPL from a french SFR V1615 (kaiser) ?
Or can i download it frm wda or another forum ?
I want it for the waranty. I read the thread for ATT and HTC, but i haven't got the original SPL with the original Splash screen :/
A friend got the V1615 and i can dump his SPL if is it possible

hard to believe that u didn't find anything.. don't know how u r searching. there is a whole tutorial on this and
bengalih has a thread on spls that includes link to the tutorial... (yes u need to read beyond the first page of the forum)

read, read, read, and than search, search, search.

i'm not very good in english, but this thread explain the return to te original spl (if i understand everything). but i haven't got the original SPL! And no SFR rom got the spl (i try to extract the *.nbh, and never got the file)
I want to "download" the spl from another v1615 ( a friend got one)

I see the reverting back and the SPL extracting when the spl is in a rom.

IPL and SPL problem

HI,
I have a Question,I've use Hard-spl 3.10 by cmonex flash done and while entering bootloader I have IPL 2.20.002 while SPL is 3.10.cmonex. Is that normal? Can i flash cooked rom without the risk of bricking the phone? And if IPL should be the same with SPL,can someone teach me how to update IPL please, I've read that you have to enter bootloader and using RUU to update but nothing happen. Please advise and thanks in advance. Devices is in chinese OS by the way hoping to convert it to WWE.

did you read the wiki about flashing and the thread from were the spl apps comefrom. considering you are "hoping" to convert from chinese os to wwe i dont think you are 100% what youre doing

Your IPL and SPL were the wrong version. Search for "Goldcard herald" for a way to fix it.

I don't know how to do it myself since all my Heralds had the correct SPL and IPL. I just searched for Goldcard Herald. If you have any questions, ask them in that post and maybe the person who created it can answer them for you. Sorry.

As I said, look at that link I showed you. The Herald Goldcard. It will fix your SPL and IPL and allow you to flash the phone with 6.1 again. The reason why it broke was because you tried using USPL or HardSPL on a phone that did not meet the requirements.
Please read the link I gave you.

Then ask in the thread about it where people already know what you're trying to fix. More people will see your question there.

Here is an easier version to understand. (Same thing, just formatted easier.)
You have to realize that just like you don't know everything, we don't know everything. You can't expect us to FIGURE things out for you. The reason why I kept telling you to read that thread was because I don't know anything about it. The guy in that thread does. I can't explain it unless I try to figure it out FOR you.

Well if you'd follow the steps online, it should work just fine. Many others have done it before. I can't find a guide for you, I've got some real work to do, but I'm sure you'll find a guide within minutes of searching.
