Polaris 3G bands

Hello, and thanks for putting up with a really simple question--on the original Polaris, is it 2100MHz only 3G, or is it triband 3G with 850/1900 as well? All the documentation I can find references all three, but separates 850/1900 and 2100 in the spec sheets. The reason I ask is that I have the opportunity to get a very inexpensive Polaris from Holland, but want to make sure it will work with my Canadian 3G.
Thanks for your help!
This is what I get in windows mobile 6.1 band selection menu:
Network type:
-Auto
-GSM
-WCDMA
GSM/UMTS Band:
-GSM(900+1800)+UMTS(900+2100)
-GSM(1900+850)+UMTS(1900+850)
-UMTS(2100+800)

3G problem in SNS

Hi folks, I using SNS form 4 months. I am not able to see any option related 3G data option in "Mobile Network Settings" screen.
I am in India.
Android Version 2.3.3
My network provider operates GSM Tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900) or Quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900).
Any additional information also appreciative.
the original model i9020 only works on 1700/2100 for 3G
and quad band for voice
possibly that's why you are unable to get 3G
you might want to sell it and get the AT&T version of SNS that operates on the 850/1900 for 3G
mine is i9020 but it will support for quad band 900 and my network provider is operating at Quad 900. If I am wrong correct me please.

the AT&T version is the I9020A and should work on the proper frequencies. Keep in mind that voice and data use separate bands.
well true

it does suppose to work on 900 for 3G
did you configure the APN settings for your cell phone provider?
By default APN's are configured by network provider. I am getting only EDGE connection. I have tried with *#*#4636#*#* and tried to change preferred network type to "WCDMA only" and "WCDMA Preferred" where default network type is "GSM/CDMA auto". But everything is in vain.
My network provider is Airtel. Any suggestions?
"My network provider operates GSM Tri-band (GSM 900/1800/1900) or Quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900)."
You have given us only the network's GSM bands. Not the 3G ones.
If it DOES support 3G, then check those bands. If it doesn't support 3G, then, well... it's pretty obvious why it doesn't work.

[Q] HTC Sensation XE 3g Question

Hi,
i am planning to buy this mobile
https://negrielectronics.com/htc-sensation-xe-unlocked-white.html
i can see that this is a Australian model.
Network band : GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800, GSM 1900,HSPA 900/AWS/2100
I am kinda of sure that indian networks use 2100MHZ for 3g and my T mobile HD2 worked perfectly with 3g
Does this mean this Sensation XE will also work because it does support 2100MHZ?
Also what is the difference between HSPA and HSDPA?
And this AWS is something to be concerned ?

HSDPA : High Speed Downlink Packet Access
HSDPA is basically 3G at higher speeds and often called 3G+ or 3.5G
HsDPA is to 3G as Edge is to GPRS
Now as for your other question, yes, to the best of my knowledge, most frequencies are supported on the XE.

Will the Fujitsu F-02E work on AT&T in the USA?

Hey all,
I'm considering buying an unlocked Fujitsu F-02E from ebay, but I am worried that 3G will not work.
Can anyone confirm that 3G is working on AT&T or T-Mobile in the USA with this phone? I am fine with either carrier.
Here are the bands they list for the phone:
2G Network : GSM GPRS EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
3G Network : WCDMA HSDPA 800, 850, 1700, 2100 MHz
4G Network : LTE 2000 Mhz
Obviously I know LTE is not going to work - not concerned about that.
Any input would be much appreciated.
The HSDPA/HSUPA will work fine and 2G GSM will work fine after inputting the AT&T APN settings and saving it.
I have the F-02E in White color and it is working on Rogers HSPA 3G with around 8-10mbits down and 1-3mbits up.
It will work with AT&T the only thing that wont work would be LTE cuz band difference

Which canadian networks will work with Xperia Z3 dual D6633?

I got the Dual Xperia Z3 today, I have a number with Wind and number with Virgin mobile here in Canada.
I installed both nano sim cards in the device but it wont allow me to use both at the same time. If I turn on one, the other goes off, if I turn on the other one, the first one goes off.
The device tells me one can do data while the other does gsm only, both carriers use gsm, so whats up? why am I not allowed to use both cards at the same time?
I just want one for data (obviously), but I want to be able to send/receive messages and calls for both.
I s that not possible?
Just found this:
Apparently only Rogers or Fido (rogers is the worst at scamming their costumers) use those bands.
