I case of people who donĀ“t read 200 post and still brick their device - here is the guide that worked for ALL people with:
HTC P4350
XDA Terra
WING
with IPL 4.xxx and higher!!! (that is IMPORTANT)
and then follow this:
Default
For me it was working when:
1. install canonyang.cab
2. install aserpolicy.cab
3- install disablesecurity.cab
4. SOFTRESET
5. run RUU from Hard-SPLWM6 folder verison 4.70.yang
6. screen will become white - WAIT until it reboots itselfe.
7. done!
check if SPL now is 4.70.yang
Fore sure: I used this
http://rapidshare.de/files/38148213/...l_WM6.rar.html
mirror: http://www.sendspace.com/file/ot8zsn
It worked for many others, too.
Credit to: papamopps
I have used it many times and it works like a charm.

What trouble are you having? Did you rename the ****.nbh file to HERAIMG.nbh and placed it at the root of your SD card? If you did that already, close your device. Hold onto the camera button for about 7 seconds and then press your power button once. It should automatically go to a screen where it says searching for SD card or something like that. If it goes directly to the blue/red/green YANG page, it means something is wrong. If it continues on that white screen dealing with SD card, it will eventually give you 10 seconds to choose whether or not you want to flash the HERAIMG from the SD card. When the timer starts counting, press your volume control slider down once and the process will start. It will start reading from your SD card. When it's done, your phone WILL tell you that it was successful and you need to press any button. Once you do that, it will go back to the blue/red/green YANG page. Just shut down your phone at that point and power it back up. After that, you patiently wait until you get the alignment screen.

mine goes directly to the red blue green screen and wat u mean by the root of my card can u be specific please
The root means the card without being in a folder. That's what root means.
If you're getting that, your SD card might be too slow. That's when you'll have to worry about partitioning your card.
yea then partition it is my last option n wat kind of sd card works ill go buy a new one

You should use a MicroSD card under 2GB. You can try partitioning it to FAT or FAT32. See if that works before you buy another microsd. I use Kingston and Sandisk. Both brand works fine for me.
i have a 1GB card and im goin o try it rite now

I backed up my original ROM to the 256sd card i folow instructions,
then i backed that SD to the HDD . Later i tryed to copy original ROM from HDD by using the ntrw tool to the SD 1GB it complites with no error. Then i go to bootload mode put 1gb sd card and it displays massage:
"SD download Section 1 is not allowed,
But when I use the SD card with 256mb go to bootload mode it says : "press power to Flash ". But i still don't want to flash it so i pressed software reset buton but the display still holds the old message about the flashing
(It means i didn't flashed my original Rom)?
I disconnect XD-a from the USB put the batery away for 10 minutes.
Then put it back, also closed the backdor of XDA press the power button but it still don't want to power up, it just blik blue light once, and i can hear a sound like "PUK" and it don't want to start windows...
But i still can go to bootloadmode by (camera+power+reset) , and i still got the orginal ROM on SD card on 256mb. what next to do? please help me
Does anybody know the method to flash a ROM for the Gene from the SD card?I tried transferring an NBH file via bluetooth, then I put the device in bootloader but it didnt work.
Yes, i found this, post #97, look familiar? lol
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=3481229&highlight=flash+sd#post3481229
Make sure ur sd card is in fat32 format, preferably blank is good! and make sure its 2gb or under (only sd not sdhc).
Good luck.
Already did all of that.Tried to flash from a 1Gb and a 2Gb formatted in FAT32.Bootloader just hangs therc. How long is it supposed to take?
mm thats wierd. Does it just hang on the bootloader and do nothing else?
Have you renamed the nbh file correctly? And its on the root directory of you sd card, not in a folder?
notice you need to name it ****img.nbh according to your device and not just go into bootloader but go into the screen allowing you to flash from your SD (you can find the comination in the gene section).
also, you should make sure the gene supports this feature as not all devices do.
Hey Nir,
I sad to say but i have this in my polaris too
I have followed my own instructions (and yours) i just cant get it to flash. Combination for polaris is bootloader then press power button. The screen flashes up "loading" for a brief moment then goes back to bootloader screen. I have tried renaming to POLAIMG.nbh with no luck, card is 2gb sdhc (i know the hc is sometimes a problem, but many people with 8gb sdhc cards have gotten it to flash).
I cant flash in from my laptop as i have sophos and even with admin rights, its a bugger and just quarantines the ruu file (its hard to turn off completely so card flashing is the easy way......... or should be!!)
I guess re-formatting the card is the only next solution, but any others?
Now before I get flamed, ridiculed and whatever else Just read. I cannot flash from my SD Card. I have done all the searches that I possibly can and read just about everything on how to do it. I have formatted my card to fat32, I put the *.nbh on the root of my SD Card as KAISIMG.nbh go into boot loader it gives me the tri-color screen but flashes a white screen saying "no image file!" it took me many tries to fiqure out that is what its saying. then goes back to tri-color screen. I have an att tilt with 3.29hard spl. could my SPL be part of my problem. I have no PC at home and am trying to fiqure out which radio works best with my WINMO ROM and android from my house in the sticks. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you entering into 'Bootloader Mode'?
If not try this page http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=KaiserSDFlash
Are you sure that the image file was unzipped? I've downloaded some files that were actually zipped and renamed them to .nbh without unzipping them before.
What size micro card are you using?

go ask here, this is where you should have asked http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=433835 if you are changing the rom file name to KAISIMG with your phone, be sure that is all you enter in i bet the problem is you have KAISIMG.nbh.nbh so use total commander to check/rename the file or gsfinder works as well. if noticed this when renaming with the phone. you will not be flamed, but you still know that you should have not started a thread to ask this, when there is already a thread in place for this.
I have a 2gig sd card that only has Android stuff on it at the moment I have renamed it through total comander and they have been properly unzipped I have tried several differnt spl's still with no luck. I have read all the post regarding to this issue I guess I'll just chock it up to sun spots

then it is possibly related to SD card compatibility. I have 4 of different capacity but only one can get work to flash
To avoid those possible issues I got an SDcard 512 only, formated FAT32, to be used only to flash, might be a sugestion
u have to get new sd card srry but u sd card is not compatible . still dont know which cards are but my 8gig is fine - my m8 8gig 1 gig 512 mb all not working

I thought I had turned my sd card into a goldcard in my inspire but I must have done something wrong. during the downgrade part of rooting, bootloader was unable to find pd981im.zip ... now my sd card is jacked. rebooted the phone and now I am not able to connect the phone as a physical disk (option is not even there) and it says damaged sd card. Is there a way to bring the sd card back to life through the phone or do I have to buy a micro sd usb key or the likes to format it?
Let me know if I need to clarify more.
Thanks,
Dkay

Try going into settings>>SD & phone storage and unmount your SD card, then hit the "Format SD card". It's worth a shot, if not you could go buy a cheap 2 gig for the SD card adapter.
P.S. This section is for development, just a heads up.
You didnt make your gold card correctly some times it takes a few times to make it. As said before format and retry.

Hello all.
I am using Mate 7 MT7-L09. Current fw version is B137SP11.
Having battery problems. It can't last more than one and a half day on moderate usage.
Guess it's a known fw issue.
Anyways I can't install official roms either. I get software install
failed error everytime I try.
I unlocked the phone. It says device unlocked.
The thing I really do not understand: why can't I even install
official roms? I can't downgrade. Stucked with default
rom. What else do I need to do? Do I have to root my phone to
install even official roms?
I am not an expert on root or unlocking.
Therefore English please
Thanks!
Is actually simple, you can change the FW as you like, including back. Get yourself the right, unzip, the dload Update.app then comes in a folder named. This device again. Now in Settings -Update, bottom menu, select internally. Already it flashes.
The important thing must be the Stock Recovery socks. The required neither root nor an open bootloader.

Thanks for the reply but done all of these. Still the same.
Tried with three-button way as well. I believe my device has a regional lock.
Did you try with de dload/update.app in the INTERNAL memory, and not in the Sd Card, with my first mate 7 i have sometimes the same problem, so i did it in the internal memory (and remove external SD).
you say it failed, can you give us the error message you have ?
if not can you send me the recovery_log file so i can see by myself (you can find it in /splash2/recovery_log with explorer like Solid exporer or es file explorer).

Well, tried your suggestion as well. Still no luck. Used internal memory.
It can't find the Update.app. Says "there is no Update.app" and "Software install failed" right after.
When I do it through SD card, it does find the Update.app but gives the same error.
About that recovery log, the file is empty. It's 0 bytes. Opened it via notepad. It was empty.
Is that normal?
Hi. Are you sure you have the right firmware for your phone? Maybe you could try to re-download it again. What fw was before b137?
I downgraded and upgraded with no problem from b125 to b120 and back to b125 - but for MT7-TL10
I used the normal upgrade method. The update file must be in "dload" folder on micro sd card.
Normal upgrade
Step 1. A MICRO SD card of 4GB or more should be available. The MICRO SD card made by Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax is recommended.
Step 2. Format the MICRO SD card (This operation is optional).
Step 3. Make sure that there is an UPDATE.APP under the dload. Copy the Main package of dload in PC to dload of SD card.
Step 4. Insert the MICRO SD card into the handset and power on. After entering the home screen, press menu key to choose Settings->Updater->Menu->Local
upgrade->Confirm->Upgrade to start the upgrade.
Notices:
1. Upgrade will erase the user data, please backup your data before upgrade.
2. Ensure that the power is at least 15% left when upgrading.
Force upgrade
Step 1. A MICRO SD card of 4GB or more should be available. The MICRO SD card 2015-2-25 Page 5, Total7 made by Sandisk, Kingstone, or Kingmax is recommended.
Step 2. Format the MICRO SD card (This operation is optional).
Step 3. Make sure that there is an UPDATE.APP under the dload. Copy the Main package of dload in PC to dload of SD card.
Step 4. Make sure your handset is power off. Insert the MICRO SD card into the handset. Pressing the VOLUME UP key and VOLUME DOWN key, then press
the POWER key to power on the phone, and VOLUME UP key and VOLUME DOWN key should be pressed more than 10 seconds, then enter the Software Upgrade Mode.
Did you flash a custom recovery?
If you did, flash the stock recovery and you're device will succeed in doing EMUI updates again.

Thank you for your help but my phone seems to have multiple regional locks that prevent device from getting FWs not released for my country.
B137SP11 is awful. Battery life it so short that ultra saving mode gives only 30 hours.
On top of that there is this: late notifications. Plus, I have a red dead pixel on the screen. Such a shame. This is going to be my last Huawei product.

Ouch, bad to hear about that red dead pixel :\
The only thing i suggest you could do, is flashing cyanogenmod 11 (and 12.1 when it gets released) because that might fix the late notifications.
I even prefer CM11 over Emui.. even tho you can't use the fingerprint scanner, it's worth trying.

I had the same problem with b125, only 30 hours on ultra ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-7/general/battery-ultra-power-saving-mode-t3074893) and I downgraded to b120.
The phone it's great, to bad you not have that good experience with it...
You can't go to replace with another mate 7 to the store where you purchased, if you have an red dead pixel?
