Rom upgrade problem

Hi,
I' am trying to put another rom on my MDA, but i get no message on the screen from what version to the new version after it get the information from the device.
It's complete blanc it's show nothing on what radio and rom en also the new rom what it's radio and rom.
All this after i run the Maupgradeut-noID.
Plz. help me.

First, you must connect to desktop using ActiveSync, than start Maupgradeut-noID.

Hi,
Maybe I was not explain my problem clearly.
With this picture maybe it makes it more claerly.
After I run MaupgradeUt-NoID I get this screen which it's shown
nothing about which rom version.
And then when I do the upgrade button I get the screen with
"waith untill... and do not disconnect..." this screen stays.
Please somebody help me, I am desperatly.

Hi.
The same happens to me with my new MDA compact II.
I think it is something to with the windows mobile 2005. you will be aware that this device is different from the classic Magician.
Tell me if this is your problem as well.

My device has not windows mobile 5.
It was working with the windows CE 2003

Problem after upgrading WM6

Hi all,
I have tried to install WM6 but got the really big problem. The installation success but my Dopod 818 pro can't start and hang on the black screen. Try to hard reset but show:
formatting to FAT,
format failed
Any expert can help me... or show me how to downgrade it back to normal...
i'm really new on this..

Did you unplugged your prophet after getting the "FINNISH" message from windows screen? Once i didn't do it,then it happened to me what you explain. Reflash again and this time unplug it before doing hard reset. If you are not able to get it going, try reflashing a wm5 rom from anyware around, then flash wm6 (you have to downgrade)
Search for instance lsvw 2.3 or jesterz rom in this forum

bootable SD image

Does anybody know where I can find bootable SD rom image from Qtek S200? I`ve been looking on the forum and xda ftp but there`s nothing. At present I have Wizard Love rom on my Qtek. Unfortunetly it stops at "Tap the screen to proceed". I can`t upgrade rom to original one using RUU and bootloader mode.

if you boot into the bios screen, (turn on the phone while holding the camera button), then disable the activesync process wcescomm.exe then you can put the default rom back on, like the NVID version etc.

check the window version on ur pc
the liknks posted refuse to work on vista many a time.
try using XP for better results..

I am using windows xp.
I`ve tried to put orignal rom back but I get this ERROR [238] : FILE READ. I`ve tried to use diffrernt roms and RUU`s but nothing helps. Maybe it`s because I have right know Wizard Love rom on my Qtek?

I don't think bootable sd image is possible now, or ever unless someone who knows how its is prepared to put in a lot of work. but I am no expert in these matters it's just that I've read a lot of threads, you see things like http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=285346 but I still haven't read of anyone having success with this. </speculation>
I remember a few thread where someone put a wizard rom on his device and at least one managed to recover it somehow. Search in the threads for "prophet bricked" or something...

upgrade Qtek 2020

Hello,sorry I'm not too expert, but I've tried to upgrade my qtek 2020 from windows mobile 2003 to WM5 following instructions that i've found on this site, but I've got a big problem. When himaupgradeut_noID start after some minutes it gives me the following message: Error 101: connection error.
My qtek 2020 remain with the Serial (when it is out of the cradle) or -- USB (when it is on the cradle) black screen (v 1.06) and nothing happens... I've tried to reset it pressing the power and reset button but it remains on the same black screen!!
Please help me what could be the problem? What should I do? It seems to be a communication problem with the usb but before starting the upgrade Active sync was running ...

Hello, i have an imate ppc (the phone edition),,,i cant find an upgarde for my ppc,,, can anybobody help me pls...i tried the upgrade for xdaII that i got from this site.... but it does not work when i installed it ,,,,i would appreciate it if somebody could give me a guide to where to find the upgrade download for my ppc...the only program that work for my ppc is the pointui home,,,,,i also tried to install a phone pad,,,and it didnt work as well....it is sometimes difficult to do a text msg,,,,with the keybord... specially if i am on my way to work,,,,
please help me to upgrade my imate phone edition,,,,

[Q] My asus P320 doesn't start

Hello everybody,
I'm new on this forum , and i search for a long time for my problem.
Someone gave me an asus P320 who has a problem.
Somedays before this person gave me the mobile, he took many photographs with the P320, and suddenly, the mobile has frozen. After a off and on, the asus started with the blue screen ASUS, and suddenly, at the down of the screen, to lines : "TFTP USB DOWNLOAD", "Insert USB cable", and that's all, impossible to cut off the mobile with the on/off button, obliged to remove the battery.
Until this day, when i start the mobile, the same blue screen and the two lines.
Impossible to do anything, the different buttons doesn't react. After some searches, i tried to do a hard reset (volume down button + reset button), but no effect. I tried to do an upgrade of the ROM with a microSD card formatted, and a folder named 2577, downloaded from the asus site,write on the root of the microSD card + hard reset, but nothing else.
Now, i don't know what to do, can someone help me?

I am also having exactly similiar problem. Sof reset failed. Hard reset never goes after "Tap screen message". Upgrade to new ROM failed saying cant find the bin file. I am stuck. Please help urgently

remove the battery , keep it outside for 12 hr . put it back , restart..
