Yhank you.

This looks like a good one
I found this link earlier you may want to give it a try.

That's a CDMA ROM, so to the OP, DO NOT FLASH THIS.
I've been using the RRE WM6.5 ROM and am about to flash to v1 from RC3.

I'm about to use the new 21222 6.5 ROM. I can help you make one if you want!

I just tried RRE's ROM...and man it was l a g g y....
Plus it brought the horrible internet explorer version that just takes FOREVER to load a page and doesn't let you do anything while downloading something (I think NATF v4.4 had it, then he got rid of it)...the look was okay, but the lag was something I just can't deal with...
Reminds me of putting Touchflo2d on my Tilt...where it took a couple of seconds to register my screen taps, and forever to load an application...

I hated that ROM too, but he was using a different build then what is out now...

Try Shep's ROM, it works amazing, fast, and looks nice. Add the Fuzeberry 2 Rhodium Theme and wow. That's what I use now.

Agreed!!! Shep's ROMs are amazing!

I just upgraded from RRE 6.1 to 6.5 I Love 6.5 but its still a beta thing! But so far so Good!

Tried Shepp's 6.5 ROM. Nice and clean---went back to NATF 4.5...I guess it's a taste thing...I hate the honeycomb menus, and too much scrolly finger friendly stuff for my taste...the chrome looks too simple and I've grown too fond of TF3D and Wizbar...oh well...

Its not laggy at all for me...atleast not anymore than other WM6.5 ROMs I've tried. It takes a while to boot up, but once its loaded its fine for me. I don't use TF3D though, so I can't speak for that.

what are you talking about? RRE roms are really good. no lag for me. even useing IE runs fine thats what i am useing now it takes a good 10 secs to load. i love the RRE roms i just wish he didnt put point less stuff on them lol

6.1 rom older dialler

Hi,
Has anyone got the old style dialer, im using duttys 6.1 which is awasome but i dont get on with the new dialer and defaul call filter, After the old one that was a blue color that if you pressed down it went to speedials and left i think went to call log (all filter).
Thanks a lot
Jason
Man, Dialers arent made the same, one thing i reliazed is that HTC dialers are slow, i hate having to press a couple of times to end call & close the dialer & still wait about a second.
I just tried Alex's Ultra clean rom wich is using HTC dialer but its tweaked nicely 4 speed or is it the rom?
The dialer that comes with Duttys rom is faster then HTC but i dont like the GUI.
I had the Imate Ultimate 9502 & the dialer is by far the fastest with great gui, now if someone can find that, would be awsome.
I would love a dialer where once i press end call it instantly closes.
The search 4 the top dialers+ tweaks continues =)
have you got a pic and the link to the cab?
Picture has been added later. But I guess he's asking the same as you do, where is the CAB?
The dialer you are asking about in the first post is in the latest ROM Dutty made.
Dont suppose anyone has the actual cab as my current duttys rom is spot on and i dont want to re rom it again as mine is just right.
Thanks
Jason

Do you still have your I-mate I was thinking of getting that phone but I thought I read that it was not going to be coming out.

Yes, I'm also looking for this dialer. It's not in the latest dutty rom. When you press right it opens the call log.
try this...

I installed this in dutty's latest ROM (April 16th), and it worked. Same as the original HTC dialer.
The imate was a great phone, I loved the VGA screen, the great dialer speed & looks, Keyboard was good but not great, all in all it was a joy to see imate finally coming out with a great phone, but I had to revert back to HTC cause I was dying of agony of not being able to flash & try other ROMs.
zakhir_n: I tried that dialer, still slow, back to the trusty Dutty's dialer 4 the time being.

Hell yeah and loved it. But it made a high pitches noise that not everyone could hear. I sent it in for repair and they sent me a new one with a louder high pitch sound from the screen, so I sold it. I loved the phone I am not impressed with the camera on this phone. BTW I am loving Ultimate Launch.

Someone who likes a phone with a camera that actually takes good pictures and video. I am not very impressed with the Kaiser.

Do you still use Touchflo 3d?

After I spent a day without Touchflo I'm never using it again. Yes its pretty but my life is so much easier without all the touching and flowing. I cant believe I'm going to say this but the regular windows mobile start screen kicks ass. Date, time, my appointments and screen lock is all I need. Performance wise every app runs so much faster its like a totally different phone. If you havent tried using your fuze without touchflo I suggest you give it a try.
What do you think fellow XDAers?
edit: something I just noticed is that if you lock your device, it can be unlocked automatically by removing the stylus.
hmm
Here is my dilema . With touch flow disabled the phone is a lot faster for me but it takes more effert to do something like use the camera in a snap. The touch flow interface is much easier to do things like use the camera with only one hand.
I did, and it wasn't bad but windows mobile just aint purty. I've tried the Bell UI which runs tons faster, but I didn't like that there were a few things that didn't work. There's also the point ui, which runs faster too
Try SPB Mobile Shell, it's a very nice replacement.
I just go to the start menu and press camera. As apposed to scrolling to Programs tab or Pictures tab waiting for the icons to load (yes I know it takes less than a second but when you're doing something it feels like forever) and then pressing camera. With touchflo disabled the camera app opens faster anyway.

Im not looking for suggestions I just wanted to know how other people felt about touchflo's performance.
I don't use it.. I think it was just HTCs answer to the iPhone crowd
if you want to get to aps and things fast i suggest using ifonz 1.1.2, you can map the camera to an icon right in the bottom bar i use it on my x51v and am getting my fuze tonight and i plan on that being the first program that i install on it
Haha, I just started using TouchFlo3D.
Ater I bought it I immediately disabled TouchFlo, but a couple of weeks ago I started to use it a bit. (for now)
I like a lot of the TouchFLO, but why MS took off the PIM aspect of the phone is beyond me. It doesn't do me any good to only see 1 appointment and no tasks easily. It seems like more of an oversight on their part, but until they get it working that I can see appointments and tasks, TFLO is not gonna be used again.

Cant you just add them back to the today menu? My fuze shows tasks and appointments as a seperate line on the today screen.
I still use it and have no intention to turn it off. With all these custom ROMs out here, tf3d is pretty fast.
I like HTC Home better...maybe I am just so use to it considering I had my TyTN II for so long and just got a Fuze.
Hmmm...wonder if HTC Home 2.1 will work with the Touch Pro...
Yep, still using it. Although I installed the black flip clock version. After tweaking it, it's very responsive.
i use it touchflo on and off i really like touchflo so everytime i disable it i end up re-enabling it lol.....
but custom roms make it alot faster...
the rom im using now is really fast but still has plenty functionality!
and yes this is my 6th rom and loving it!!
i just hope it stays stable..
i love it... its not slow at all. im running NATF 2.3.

ima just stay with whats good and forget about upgrading unless it has major changes..
Im Still using TouchFlo .... on a Stock ROM... I know im just still to nervous to flash a new rom on it... I was like that when i was upgrading the OS on my Blackberry but now that i have done it, it was a breeze... but i love TouchFlo

To each his own.... but... EWWW!
IMHO, you just can't beat AT&T's M3D theme. I think it's such a well-balanced, smooth, thoroughly-designed theme, that everything else just looks amateur in comparison. That's just me thou.
I never said Touchflo was slow or unresponsive but I found my fuze more productive with it disabled. Apps load up faster which is the biggest plus in my book. I open up emails and word docs throughout the day and every bit of speed I get helps me get through the day with less frustration.
I'll disable it on the weekdays when I have work and enable it during weekend so that when I go to bars, I can show off to my Iphony friends.

6.5 out for the herald

just got me a copy testing da beta lets see how she goes, hope it will be ok on me WING.
and man I cant wait til i am building roms been working on it for about 3 weeks. any who FLASHING NOW
i wanna test.........-cries- lemme at it >:O
definetly there's huge demand - though it's not gonna be easy to be better than the tweaked custom roms out right now..

Upload it on mediafire or something. I want to get my hands on this.
Hey guys...
Here is the link

Anyone else tried this rom?
Whats your thought on it?
Yes, I made a fast test on it... my impression? too slow (at least for my taste)
help me please to install it, the problem is that it says that the usb cable is not connected but it is... does somebody have a solution? thnx
i have been using this rom from last 18 hours, and boy i tell you it is damm slow. although microsoft has come up with a few improvisation here and there. But a 6.1 rom with manilla2d is still far better. manilla is much faster and also the layout of manilla is compact and easy to use.
That's just my personal thought. today i am flashing back to a 6.1 rom.
Thank You!
Have you any screen shot??
Now I'm flash my Herald... I want see what is this rom....
I hope that this is very good and fast...
For now ....THANK YOUUUUUU!!!!
Does Battery status work on this to speed things up?
Well if its that slow then im not going to use it.
............................... noooooooooooooooo .............
This rom is the worste that i've tried...
Is very very very slooooowwwww
The grafic is very bad. The icons of the 6.1 with manila is very very very best...
This is a disappointment....
I'm going to put 6.1 with manila....
Thanks to all. Thanks to all that cooking this rom and sorry for my English.
Bye
tried it on my wing so far it''s ok... lot of room... with 2d i had no mem.... like around 27 in the system with this one i have 40

quickest fastest most stripped down rom?

hey there
i was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction. i did try searching first but i'm not really finding the answer i'm looking for so thought i'd just ask.
on my wing i'm currently using touch-it 2.3 (i'm pretty sure its 2.3... it's been a while since i installed it)... anyway. it's cool. i like it. but really i don't need all these cool extras. what i'm looking for is just the most stripped down simple and fastest rom i can find. something without any extra touch features (since i don't like touching for using the phone anyway, i use the controller all the time). i just want something that will be fast fast fast and that's it. don't need a big glowing clock. don't need to scroll through things like an iphone. none of that i just want it to not lock up for 10 seconds when i go to slide out the keyboard and start typing... if someone texts me, i can hit reply, slide out the keyboard start typing my message, finish typing a full sentence, and the thing still hasn't even gone to a new reply text yet. then all my letters start comin up that i typed. haha. i want fast!
any ideas on what rom i might like?
thanks so much, and again sorry if this has been covered 100 times... soon i'll be on the touchpro2 and will (hopefully) be happy enough haha.
Either my old JustMe or my old Just2Clean. Or wait for my upcoming JustStable and download the stripped version of the final version. There's a few clean ROMs out there, but I haven't tried them all.

I would def try Justme. It's super stripped, and super fast. It's also extremely stable.
Oh, when the touch pro 2 comes out, I think it will be time for me to make a new purchase as well. Looks awesome.
thanks guys. i'm gonna try justme sometime this weekend and see how it works.

JustHome vs. JustStable

I'm just wondering which of these roms you are using out of these two and why. And if your using the newest build one of the older ones. I've been trying for a while to decide but never do. Any feedback is appreciated.
depends on if you want to have wm6.1 or 6.5
it doesnt matter to me i just wanted people to tell me which one they liked best and why. and that would help figure out which one i wanted.
6.5 all the way. Why? Because its the hottest thing around. Finger friendly and doesnt look like crap compared to the horrible nastalgic 6.1!

It says in my signature. I just switched from V19 back to V3. Its been stable enough for me not to switch back to 6.1. Really theres a big difference in Juststable and Justhome, and thats in a good way. The only true noticeable draw back is about 5mb less in justhome!
justhome v3. v19 has issues with opera mini.

Actuall thats been solved. just download the old version and it should work. ive started using v19 more. besides the lack of visual stuff its becoming my next favorite. Not as much as v3 though
