When I am running MobileShell and I attempt to put my device in hibernation mode the screen continues to flash. Any clues how to stop this flashing from occurring on the Tilt or Kaiser? Thanks in advance.

sounds like you need a hardreset
It does sound like you need a hardreset. This will of course wipe everything off your device and put it back to factory default.
Softresetting (rebotting) the device is easier though than removing the battery and stuff: use the stylus to push the reset trigger in the little pin-hole at the bottom of the device.
thanks for the help, it turned back on after about 10 attempts to turn it on, but thanks for the help
Hey,
I am having a problem after cooking my own ROM:
If a program such as Connection Setup tries to restart the phone, the screen will go blank, and you cannot wake the phone up. Furthermore, it seems that you must manually Soft-Reset, and then the changes are applied.
So my question is why this happens?
Any suggestions/tips will be greatly appreciated

Hey guys,
HTC TP2
Carrier: Telus CDMA
Mighty Rom
I am still looking to get a software or a config thats will auto-lock my device when i push the top button.
I tried CSDEVCTRL.. it worked for a couple hours then it stopped working. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but no change.
the only way I can lock the phone is through start menu then "lock" button bottom left.
is thre anything else out there that can deliver like CSDEVCRTL ?
is there anything I can do to completely remove CSDEVCRTL and reinstall it ?
Could it be a configuration mistake on my side of CSDEVCRTL?
Any help will be appreciate.
Cheers guys!
Have you tried Onlock?
onlock ?
I' having trouble finding the software. Do you have a download link or something ?
thanks !

Try this one. "Smart Lock"
smart lock cant be found ?
Hey thanks for that answer... I downloaded smart lock... but I cant find it anywhere... it is not listed in my programs... its only there in my "remove program menu"
any tips on that ?
thanks
Try :Start/Settings/System
still having the same problem..
Auto-lock isnt working.
i found it in start/setting/system but even auto lock isnt working at all.
i tried with both program "Smart Lock" and (CSDEVCTRL) at least 15 times and still not working.
the funniest thing is that it worked before.... could it be a config mistake on my side ?
it seems that even if I unsinstall (CSDEVCTRL) it keeps my personnal setting... any way of getting rid of my personnal setting and reinstalling ?
thanks again guys !
goto the registry and change DeviceLockWhenSuspend to 1... that will enable the windows lock when you press the button at the top of the phone.
It is located at HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Keybd
Make sure your reset your phone after you make the change.
There you go!
There you go my friend!

During WM 6.1 setup, after calibrating the screen the windows custamization setup will run automatically. Is there any way to stop this auto-custamization?
Simply push the Soft Reset button after the calibration.

Sometimes I do in such way on official HTC ROM (I can see the progress of customization on the display): when the customization starts after the calibration, I wait till some needed to me applications are being installed and after they've been installed, I simply push the Soft Reset button
Sorry in advance if it won't help to you because I didn't use PcCarvalho's ROM
P. S. Now I use official HTC WM 6.0 ROM because it is stable! I tried many custom ROMs during last 1,5 years: WM 6.1, 6.5 with upper and low start menu, even flashed Android Eclair. But all of them have many troubles, so by my opinion they don't have any chances to be installed on my Polaris!
I'm using Energy ROM with Manila 2.1 on my HTC Touch diamond. I have been having screen calibration issues since quite some time now. The phone works perfectly whenever I flash it with any ROM. But after a few days, if I tap at any point on the screen, the phone registers a touch on some other point. This problem persists until I run the screen calibration tool.
But at times, the touch response becomes so bad that it is not possible to click on start and then go to settings>system>screen.
So I have to reflash my ROM in these cases. I figured out that a lot of trouble can be saved if I can manage to have the screen calibration on startup. So whenever the touch response becomes bad, I can try and access the screen calibration tool from start>settings... But if I'm unable to do so, I have to simply restart my phone (as the screen calibration tool would run on startup)
For this purpose, can someone please tell me how do I create a shortcut to Screen Calibration in startup?
Thanx.
bump
Someone please help.
Put a shortcut to welcome.exe in your startup folder. And stop re-flashing-I read about people doing that all the time. It's a complete waste. Just do a hard reset.
