My SP5m switch off itself and it not swithch on again. while pusing power button ren blinks that it. I tryied with fulllu charged battary but same result. can any on plse help me to solve this??

Unfortunately, it sounds like a hardware problem. Does the LED flash green/yellow or red. If it flashes RED it probably means that your main board is not working properly.
One way you may be able to rescue the device is to attempt to start it in bootloader mode and flash a ROM, preferably an official operator's rom.

I attempted to upgrade my Orange SPV M500 (HTC Magician).
The tool failed, and did not install anything.
However, my phone has remained stuck on the "Bootloader", displaying a white screen with "serial" if it's not plugged into the Pc, or "USB" when it is.
I've tried different reset techniques, having the battery out for long periods.
My phone booted up once, then silly me I tried the same tool again, and am back stuck!!
I bet it's something simple to press to get it to boot normal - but I just can't see it.
Please help. I know I'm in the right place to ask.

you can try camera + record + reset button to get it out off boot loader mode
if it doesn't work you have to flash it
If this doesn't work, just download the correct rom, and run the update program, this will hopefully sort the problem out if pressing the buttons doesn't work.

I Followed the Steps but after Checking the Image...
I Reset My Phone...
Now it doesn't response, I can only see the light when I'm charging the Phone!!!
Nothing else response...
I tried to Press (Call+End Call+Power) again to ReInstall the ROM But it also doesn't Response...
Also I want to know how to Enter Bootloader???
and How to enter the Engineering Mode???

wait we need more Details id you try leaving the phone charging then take battry out and put it back in? also does the Device power on? I mean do you see the qtex screen you know the boot screen? also try putting it in bootloader mode then flash

I have been facing the same kind of problem. The phone light flashes when charging and when I boot the phone, it just shows the iteq logo. I have tried the Call Start+Call end+power combination but nothing happens. Sometime it shows the orange light besides the power button but the logo still remains on the screen. On one ocassion, it did enter some image mode but gave an error that no image found. I dont have the rom either to flash it. Can someone please post the rom online if they have it and also help if they have faced similar issues.

1 press and hold the [WIndosFlag(start)] and [ok] buttons somultaneously
2 press and release the [reset] button
3 wait up to the leds in the keyboar flahsing 2 or 3 time (less tha 5 seconds)
4 release the [WIndosFlag(start)] and [ok] buttons
must be start the resetting to the fabrique settings
[WIndosFlag(start)] button is in the down left corner
[ok] button is in the down right corner
if this not works the the keypad is dammage
iteq x-bond totally drained battery
When the battery is totally drained, all you have to do is charge it. Now here is the tip. when you charge it(totally drained iteq x-bond battery), the phone will enter into pre-charge mode for about 30min to 2 hrs( depending on how drained the battery is), the end-call button together with the right double arrow button will light steadily. Do not on the unit as this will only aggrevate the problem. Wait until the phone passes through that pre-charge mode. When the end-call button starts to flash, that means the pre-charge period is over. You can now press and hold the on/off button for about 5 seconds and the phone will start-up normally. Your problem is solved. That's it. This procedure will work only on the presumption that you did not do anything on the phone beforehand such as upgrading etc....
I have a S200 and i was upgrade my ROM but he reboot in progress bar, and i can´t upgrade the ROM, he still reboot in progress bar.
It apears error 302, comunnication!(the qtek is in usb, but he reboot automatic and PC show this error).

Can you enter bootloader? Hold the comm manager button, and soft reset.
Dependant on phone sometimes you have to hold just the camera button to get to the triband screen to re-flash
As far as I know, you can only enter the bootloader on a prophet the way I described, but I shall try what you have said next time I need it.
try to change your usb cable.
It was a solution for me , not the same problem but we never know. Give it a try .

If this happens again, then yes a hard reset would fix it, but if you want to flash a different ROM (if the problem repeats and you want to test a different rom to fix it), you can enter bootloader by holding Power and VolDown when the phone is switched off. You will see a multicoloured screen, and from there you can flash new ROM's
Dear All,
I tried to upgrade my HTC Hero from Andriod 1.5 to 2.1 . Everything was OK but last moment Upgradation went failed and Handset automatically shutdown. I tried to powered it up but no fruitfull result. I checked the battery by inserting in some other handset, It was OK. Thats mean there is no issue with battery. Handset doesnt show charging indication while connected to charger. I also tried to power it up in safe mode by pressing combination of keys but no result.
Kindly suggest solutions to power up HTC Hero. Thanks in advance.

I tried to put handset in fastboot mode but no result...i pressed back+power for fastboot mode..............................waiting for further instruction
Do you get a vibration? If so download fastboot drivers and fastboot files. Try flashing a ROM using fastboot.

After the vibration, open CMD, cd to the folder where you extracted fastboot and type fastboot and then press enter. If you see your device listed in fastboot, download fastboot images for your phone and flash them.

I tried the whole procedure but handset didnt power up. I want to explain the issue again to you, Handset doesnt show any thing when I press power button, LCD doesnt glow nor handset vibrate. Its Just like dead phone but when I pressed home+power button, it vibrates.
This Issue came, when I was just tried to upgrade it from Andriod 1.5 to 2.1, this upgradation failed due to some reason and after this handset is not powering up.
When I connected it with PC. PC doesn't recognize any hardware connect to it.
I need your help as my handset is out of warranty.

I don't think I can help anymore. I guess the phone is bricked. Try connecting your handset to another PC and follow the same procedure.
Even if the handset is out of warranty, take it to Service Center and tell them your phone won't power up. Don't tell about the failed upgrade. If they could just reprogram the PCB, let them do it. If they say, they want to change the PCB/motherboard, forget it and get a new phone.
It's sad you waited this long to upgrade to 2.1. You should've done it during the warranty period.
