If I loaded a ROM for my Kaiser, and it doesn't have the advanced config option, is there a way to load it on otherwise? I would like to change the size of my scroll bars and stuff

These are the values I've used and everything zips along quite nicely with loads of apps installed.
File system cache: 8MB
File system filter cache 131072
Glyph cache: 64KB
See how you get on with these settings and report back. They are the same setting I had optimised on my Universal and am now using on my touch pro

Hi dear TP-friends.
How do I do these changes?
Do I need a SW for that?
In that case, where do I get it?
Sorry for these elementary questions.
Do you also know how to get rid of the date and the provider name t th front page of the RAPHA

Do a forum search for the Advanced config Tool. It will let your make these changes, they are under the performance section of the editor. It is very easy to use

Dowload both files from this thread, then instal the .NET direct of your desktop, it will install the files needed on your TP the next time you do a sync. . As for schaps AC tool, drop the CAB onto the device and install from there

i have a sprint touch pro phone. after a hard reset my start menu has a delay.once i click it, it take about 2 seconds for the menu to drop down. i had the same problem when i got the phone new, but somehow fixed it with tweaks. i really have no idea which tweak helped this. any info would help. thanx
anyone?????????
still looking for a solution
load NetCF 3.5 and Adv Config 3.3...
Then tweak the performance settings to the max in all settings. Reboot and that should do it.
You can also check on the large menu settings. (are u using the Large Menu?)
Lastly, I would just install the latest cooked rom since it seems like you just hard reset anyhow.
See if any of the above help, if not, I will try to think of something else, unless someone knows any other ideas...good luck

File sys cache = Enabled
File sys Cache = 8mb
File Sys Filter Cache = 16384
Glyph cache = 128
these give me the best results..
In Advanced Config if I press Menu -> More Settings -> TouchFlo 3D, I get an "error loading TF3D configuration" and then continues to screen that has the TF3D tabs and date fornat.
Is that error expected, or it only happens to me device? Also, are there any settings in Advanced Config that are incompatible with Topaz, and I shouldn't mess at all with them?
Thanks

What ROM, what version of Manila do you use? Maybe the Advanced Config version you have is not compatible with your Manila version.
Works fine on my Topaz.
ROM is 1.39.405.2 WWE. I don't know how to find the Manila version, but anyhow it is the default one included in the stock ROM...

OK then! This is what happens with my device, as I said earlier. So, there is nothing I should worry about.
Hi!
I need it to simply enabled or disabled the 3G.
Have you got something?
The perfect solution would be a "3G on/off" in Comm Manager?
A cab file exists for it?
Check Advanced Config.... you can change the Comm manager and have this button...

Hey this one!!
Advanced Config has also this possibility....
I've installed the Advanced Config Tool 3.3, but my problem still there...
I can put the 3G on/off in Com manager, but it is not active, if I tap on it, it didn't do anything ...
Am I miss something?
Advanced Config Tools "latest" 3.3 ver. in 10/27/2008 ???
Maybe this is the problem...
It's not working full functional on Topaz...
may be this is what u need.

It's running on my TD2 without any issues. U can find it at http://www.commmgrpro.com
It's not free but worth the money!

Hi guys, i read about nrg's last rom and the qmenu he has on it.
is there any performance or advantage for us to use the qmenu?
will the device have more memory in general ?
can we have some instructions on how to install it, and transparently replace it with 6.5.5 menu?
+1 if anyone have information how to
- installe quickmenu
- remove default win starmenu

i use cht energy roms and have around 25-30 MB more ram with quickmenu that with the default start menu. i can't help with the installation because qmenu is already cooked into the rom and there is a shortcut to toggle between the two start menu options.
hope this helps

Definitely, with quickmenu you have 25mb more memory. And if we come to installing, quickmenu is integrated into Energy Rom so no need to install, to be able to use it you just have to activate it from the settings menu. But if you mean to install it into another ROM without it, here is the link of quickmenu.
