Is it avaliable in some newer version anywhere? That is the only thing I miss out in this great application. I'm totally sick of the tiny scrollbar at the right side when browsing my songs. Searched everywhere but couldn't find it.
Cheers
Matt

Hi there,
I'm looking for 3 applications for my prophet. so this is a "recommend me" post.
in your opinion:
What's the best mp3 manager and player.
What's the photo viewer.
What's the best "X-button" like app. I've seen the one used on TNT5 pro and I really like it(touch skin) do you know what that is?
I really what these to be very finger usable and touch like(photo zoom via touch flow etc.)

Most people tend to stick with the basic apps when it comes to these three categories, especially since the memory can go to more useful and exciting programs such as skype, games, and other neat programs
mp3 manager and player : audio manager is great just because you can make playlists and also trim a song for a ringtone although it takes up alot of program memory. TCPMP is nice because it'll play almost any format you put in front of it but it doesn't look as nice as audiomanager.
photo viewer:what are you trying to do that windows picture viewer can't do. for some more advanced options try resco photo viewer
x-button: the new x-button from htc is pretty cool. It looks nicer than v1.5. I am told there is a bug where pressing x will not close the program, you would hav to use click and hold (i use that anyway.) The main reason I like the new task manager is that you can close the programs from the home screen just by pressing right on the d-pad after bringing up the xbutton menu.

Good calls. I use audio manager for now. Ill try resco photo viewer although I don't think i'll have the usability I'm looking for...
as for x-button I have htc x-button but it looks regular, not the big buttons. How do I change that?

1. gsplayer(and no i WON'T argue with others, period),
2. resco pict viever(could say xnviev..but nope..resco is best..),
3. pbar(x-button, bs module, suxx, and i mean it), inclose mobile is right behind, its better, than pbar, but WAY bigger.
OT: touch soft and cube stuff suxx(on wizard, at last..).
Thread moved. In the future, please try and keep new threads in their appropriate forums.
Thanks
I found the close button i was looking for: htc task manager.
Hey guys,I have found most of what I am looking for on this web site, thank you all for your help. I am trying to find out how you can get some of the cool looking color pictures onto the HTC home plug in on the tilt. I have the 5 button plug in and would like the pics to not just be grey. anyone have any answers?
thank you!!!
also if you know this one too, how do i get the battery indicator to appear on te top of the screen? i noticed some have that, I dont,.
Search these forums for HTC home customizer, that will allow you to change your icons, clock, etc in HTC home. Really cool little app!
As for your battery indicator. I believe either kaiser tweak or advanced config 1.1 will do that for ya. Just don't recall exactly.
thank you, the HTC home customizer is perfect for the icons!!! the kaiser tweak does not seem to want to work on my tilt it has probs opening it and then it seems to load but i cant find the program anywhere. what is the advanced configuration 1 you talk about?
Hi
I'm brand new here, and I'm hoping this question may have already been asked and answered but...
I have the new Orbit 2 and really much prefer the HTC Home to the o2 Today.
So I installed HTC Home and it works fine but...
I'm not able to control it in the same as this guy can with the TouchFlo...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5olemDlIRI
I'd like to be able to control it in the EXACT same way; I have UltimateLaunch but it doesn't seem to change the whole screen in the way the video does, just the bit at the bottom.
Am I missing some software?
Many, many thanks
Oliver,.
just bumping my question...
I would be very interested in this too as a new owner of an orbit2
Alfie, can you give me any pointers to the HTC Home app please?
The answer to this thread is actually extremely simple. Remove ALL today plugins except for ultimate launcher then add your HTC plugin onto a tab in UL, then create more tabs with icons and such, set the tab gestures to open/perform the desired tasks and lastly set the height of the ultimate launch plugin to be equal to your entire screen size. After you play around for a bit you will understand. Ultimate launch does not use touchflo, it has its own "touchflo" monitor. I have been using a setup like this for a few days now and am quite happy with it. if you search here in the developer section you will see some threads there for "the better cube", "questions about tabbed today" and others. read those and you will be quite happy.
My O2 Orbit2 did not come with HTC Home, any clues as to where I can get this please?
I've tried searching Google and XDA high and low, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. I'm looking for a version of HTC Audio Manager. I have only seen and used it in the Manilla2D Roms i have used, but now I'm not on a M2D rom so I'd like to find a cab, but all I can find are the 1.0 versions with the smaller text in Library view. The one I used in M2D was version 2*something*, and the Library font and selection was bigger and more finger friendly than version 1. If anyone could help me find a cab of it, it would be greatly appreciated, preferably QVGA...
there are different versions of it... you can find all of them in the forum.. can't exactly tell which one you'd need.
Probs a simple (or stupid ) question, however -
I've just installed the TP2 update (wm 6.5/manilla 2.1 w/sense), just wondering how or what triggers the full screen weather effects on the calender/homepage?
I've seen screenshots and vids etc of the full screen effects but haven't actually seen them so far on the today page. Is there specific config or do they just "happen" on their own randomly.
Thanks in advance
Anyone have any ideas at all please?
It triggers when you leave the touch flo interface and then come back. try to click the HTC task manager(top right corner) to open the running program list and click it again to close it
