HTC Home Buttons & Battery Icon - Tilt, TyTN II, MDA Vario III Windows Mobile ROM De

Hey guys,I have found most of what I am looking for on this web site, thank you all for your help. I am trying to find out how you can get some of the cool looking color pictures onto the HTC home plug in on the tilt. I have the 5 button plug in and would like the pics to not just be grey. anyone have any answers?
thank you!!!
also if you know this one too, how do i get the battery indicator to appear on te top of the screen? i noticed some have that, I dont,.

Search these forums for HTC home customizer, that will allow you to change your icons, clock, etc in HTC home. Really cool little app!
As for your battery indicator. I believe either kaiser tweak or advanced config 1.1 will do that for ya. Just don't recall exactly.

thank you, the HTC home customizer is perfect for the icons!!! the kaiser tweak does not seem to want to work on my tilt it has probs opening it and then it seems to load but i cant find the program anywhere. what is the advanced configuration 1 you talk about?

HTC Home Screen and the Treo 750???

I installed a HTC Home Screen and I really like the way it looks on the 750 and how useful it is, but it shows two battery icons in the top screen, the original Palm one and one for the plugin. So how do I make one of them go away? Is there anyway, or do I just have to live with it? Thanks for any help

Replace "BatteryIndicator.exe" in /Windows with the included file... It worked in WM5 it's should work also in WM6...
You'll get the sound icon instead of the battery on the top.
is there any way to have both of them? like the speaker icon and either the palm or the WM battery icon?
I don't think so... BatteryIndicator.exe is a hack added by palm to override this speaker icon because they do not want you to get to that menu (probably because of the vibrate mode there, they want to enable vibration with the button on top...)
ce some one place screen shots of whot it look like plz !

I'm a noob at this forum and I'm looking to make my Palm Treo 750 like the new iPhone. I hear that HTC is a step in that direction, so my question to you all is how do you get the HTC program?

Customize Appearance

Hi everyone
Im sorry for my bad english
Ive bought a HTC S710 (im from switzerland, so "swisscom xpa v1415" ^^)
Now i wanna customize the design (like homescreen and so on). There are many threads about "HTC Home Plugin" and things like that.
So for me, it seems, that the "HTC Home Customizer" http://www.pocketemu.com/hhc-faq.html was best for me, because i can change icons, simly download themes...
But, i havent had any customizing tool installed, so ive never heared about this HTC Home Plugin. Its even not installed... The only thign i can do as standard, is "Options - Homescreen" - then select a theme (windows standard, live standard...) and a color scheme...
I made homescreens with "Ruttensoft Homescreen Designer" and some cabs, but it was like rugged, just not the real thing ^^
This other tool would be great. But now my "real" question:
Where can i download and how install this "HTC Home Plugin" and "HTC Home Customizer?
So i could really manage my Themes.
I really want to change the complete Design, thanks already for your answers and tips
goodbye

HTC Home Vs O2 Today

Hi
I'm brand new here, and I'm hoping this question may have already been asked and answered but...
I have the new Orbit 2 and really much prefer the HTC Home to the o2 Today.
So I installed HTC Home and it works fine but...
I'm not able to control it in the same as this guy can with the TouchFlo...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L5olemDlIRI
I'd like to be able to control it in the EXACT same way; I have UltimateLaunch but it doesn't seem to change the whole screen in the way the video does, just the bit at the bottom.
Am I missing some software?
Many, many thanks
Oliver,.
just bumping my question...
I would be very interested in this too as a new owner of an orbit2
Alfie, can you give me any pointers to the HTC Home app please?
The answer to this thread is actually extremely simple. Remove ALL today plugins except for ultimate launcher then add your HTC plugin onto a tab in UL, then create more tabs with icons and such, set the tab gestures to open/perform the desired tasks and lastly set the height of the ultimate launch plugin to be equal to your entire screen size. After you play around for a bit you will understand. Ultimate launch does not use touchflo, it has its own "touchflo" monitor. I have been using a setup like this for a few days now and am quite happy with it. if you search here in the developer section you will see some threads there for "the better cube", "questions about tabbed today" and others. read those and you will be quite happy.
My O2 Orbit2 did not come with HTC Home, any clues as to where I can get this please?

There is also a program called Manila Customizer that will let you change individual items like clocks, icons, etc. without changing the whole theme.

And this can be put on the Fuze without it being unlocked or whatever? I too am a bit ticked that the demos I saw had the flipping animation and this one doesn't. Cool thing to showoff. Although once its said and done, I think I'll go back to my normal WM desktop that I used on my Tilt.

Is there confirmation that Manila Customizer works on the Fuze?
Yes on Manila Customizer
I have the Fuze and have used Manila Customizer, Diamond TF3d both to change the theme of the Fuze. I found themes in the Diamond theme section, but when I went to all black etc and some of the other themes touchflo performance wen't down, the slider was rapid, but the people pictures took like 5 seconds to come up, same with programs and music.
After spending tons of time on this since Saturday, I've left the ATT theme, and changed things like the icons and slider through Manila Customizer and added some other things through cabs found there to change just specific things like the heroes and bottom icons. This leaves the basic tf3d theme as ATT and it looks completely different, but performance is still all immediate.
If you're a noob like me, you have to read through all the threads in the diamond theme section and you'll start to get good information. FYI, be careful on some of the themes etc., they are for diamond and landscape goes haywire and is basically unusable.

thx for the info.
yeah, this place is bursting with good info and answers... you have to have a solid search tactic and be prepared to read and read and read...18 linked threads later, you have the answer, lol.
Manila Customizer overwrite existing manila?
For those who have use Manila Customizer:
Do it overwrite the manila.exe that comes with the Fuze?
If so, I may need to backup some of those files before installing customizer.
ive been reading up on fuze tweaks and had a question. if you do that process to skip all the bloatware stuff, will you get the att theme still or the normal htc one. if not does antone have just the stock manilla 3d cab so we can just do the bloat skip and install that?
Q. Installed and put in all the folders with the icons, clocks, etc. and for some reason when I check the glass flip clock it just stays at the stock clock. Also, when switching to any other clock, It will keep the time at zero.. Something I'm doing wrong here? Everything else changes with no problem.

Thanks for that report. I had also switched to the HTC Black theme on my Fuze, and found the same slowdowns that you had, no matter what tweaks I applied.
Yea, same here. Seems like that is the only way to get working flip clocks for the fuze..?

I found a couple of things out, maybe this helps. The clock on my standard fuze is called a sprint clock (solid numbers and a rectangle background)? I found the Sprint2flip clock in the diamond thread and loaded it on my fuze and it works without turning everything into all zeroes.
It's in post #178 on this thread. It does mess up the option to scroll up the clock, but I don't really care about that.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...420887&page=18
After you have this sprint2flip clock on you can then load other flip clocks and they work. I won't attest to all, it seems hit and miss, but I've put on 7 or 8 different ones and they've all worked so far. I haven't checked that thread in a while b/c I'm travelling so don't know if there's a better alternative.
The wallpaper4all from mUn is the only thing that jacked up my clock to all zeroes and I had hard reset, but I was going to anyway, just fyi.
I would be interested in knowing if anyone finds a fix to get the scroll up working again.

HTC Sense Weather Animation

Probs a simple (or stupid ) question, however -
I've just installed the TP2 update (wm 6.5/manilla 2.1 w/sense), just wondering how or what triggers the full screen weather effects on the calender/homepage?
I've seen screenshots and vids etc of the full screen effects but haven't actually seen them so far on the today page. Is there specific config or do they just "happen" on their own randomly.
Thanks in advance
Anyone have any ideas at all please?
It triggers when you leave the touch flo interface and then come back. try to click the HTC task manager(top right corner) to open the running program list and click it again to close it
