Hello i have tck o8 (oh my god) and i need to change rom from wm5 wm6. I'm new with that and with pda's and i have not idea how i can doing this. I search and i have did everything from here and nothing. Please help me someone. Now i'll do ing reset on my device and im waiting. Can i install athineos rom from here? Please someone help me...

Are you at your Tri-Color Screen? If so...tell me what the screen says...also what device do you have a Tilt or a TyTN II
well when i was trying to flash the rom it not recognized it, then i disconected it and then enter in bootloader, and when it was flashing just stucked at 7% and said "ERROR 112 :CE Rom Update Error"
and now i cant flash anything, just stucks at the same 7%
its a Universal i know that it isnt a forum for that device but in the universal one just nobody answers =( and i guess that some people here has 1 uni too

What does your TRI-COLOR Screen say?
it says just usb and v1.0
it tries to flash and then stucks at 7%
new thing, when i try to flash an original rom, it says "error 100: model id error 22-N-50-N-N

Can anyone help me please?? =(... i get an error 112, the rom just dont flash, it gets a 7% then the error appears, its an HTC Universal. i tried some things and even no results, theres a way to flash from SD? or it will be the same?? or maybe it got locked or something? or i just bricked it?? it enters to bootloader and it starts to flash and stuck on 7% TT-TT

i searched on google, and i found that a some peolpe had this problem too, but, the same as me, nobody answers. its time to throw away my universal?
Not to sound mean, but you could try spamming the Universal forums instead of the Kaiser forums. I know there are a lot of people on the Kaiser forums, but we're Kaiser users. Odds are you'll get better information in the correct forums because the people there have the same hardware...just a thought.

I have a Universal, and here are some ideas and questions:
1. Give the exact name of the ROM you are trying to use. Do not put "the original one," or "Fred's rom." Put the EXACT NAME of the ROM that you are upgrading to, and a link to it.
2. Stop. Take a breath. Throwing away your Universal will not solve the problem.
3. Give exact step by step description of what happened. Start from, "I was using my Universal with XXXXXXX ROM and the world was fine, and then I downloaded the ROM given in item #1 above. I then did (whatever you did). Continue on. End with "I am now stuch at 7%"
4. I noticed that you are from Mexico. I am from the USA, so some colloquilisms may not translate well. (Plus my Spanish is horrible). Let's just stick to the facts.
To be quite honest, your posts are not helpful, and they sound like a drowning man clutching an anvil (see last Sunday's Dilbert...). It would be more helpful if you could be more forthright and specific as to the issue, and give those wanting to help you as much detail as possible.

What ROM did you upgrade to? If it was to a WM6 ROM using the "new" upgrade method, you may have failed to hard SPL your device. What ever the cause, the solution (as ever) can be found on the wiki.
yes you are right i didnt HARDSPL my device befor updating with (ROM

If the device can get into bootloader, it should be possible to recover it In my previous post there was a link to the wiki page for recovering devices from bootloader. If you want any more info, I'll be happy to try and help...
thx for the quick reply but my problem now is if i connect the phone i can see the usb on the screen alright but the computer doesnt sync it and if i go ahead and update the rom i get error make sure the usb/cradle is connected properly i dont know what to do plssssssssss i need help to revive this phone thx in advance

and its working ok but i dont have sound its in maxsimum volume and noting cant hear music and no taping aswell.
i already did hard reset but still dont work what else can i do?!
you need to flash a different radio
do a search for radios or look in the kaiser wiki

You flashed an appropriate rom.

oki installed another rom and now i cant even start the windows how can i delete everyting i did and make to the first place? even after hard reset still dont come up
its the tpc elite setires rom its stuck on htc main screen the phone is on becuase i can call him and he rotate but i dont see noting
how can i uninstalled this rom without tuching the phone?!only from active sync

OK do you have HardSPL installed? That is a must to flash ROM!
Also who is your carrier? Do they have official ROM? If so, install that one, and that should install no matter what! Install ROM using SD Card method! Read Wiki for that.

You're not gonna get any help with that attitude buddy!! Just flash a different rom or go to the xdawiki and read.
Please read the wiki / stickies before creating a new thread. All of the answers to these questions are well documented.

Hi guys
When i turn on my smartphone, it`s hang on splash screen. I was try to install Orange ROM and many other and always pops error 279 during upload ROM to device. I could make GoldCard, but i can`t second device with Windows Mobile and i don`t know how to read CID from my memory card in any other way. Each attempt update to new ROM (Ship) via micro-sd ends: "invalid certyficate". Do you have some ideas ???

I Tried to root my htc desire... worked pretty well untill i tryed to install PSFreedom BDMV...
Now i think i ****ed it up prety mutch because i couldnt restart my desire because it ALWAYS starts up with the bootloader emideatly.... I CANT get into the actual fw... i now have a blank card and can pretty much do NOTHING...
I even cant go to the next shop because i ****ed up my warrenty....
SO now i need your help...
And if this is not ****ty enough i need my cellphone daily...

I'v got NO rom... and no experience with wipeing the phone...
And as iv heard its not possible to get the original rom to reinstall or sth that will work...
