I was using the RC33lite and had a BUUF theme on it. I did a wipe and when the phone turned on it is stuck at the second splash screen, the android flashing. It is in a loop. How can I fix this? Do I just use my usb adaptor to put back in the RC33 lite? I dont know how to use the NANDROID although I did back up.

When i try installing the ubuntu or blue star theme it gets installed but when i boot up it gets stuck on the modified glowing boot screen
i tried reflashing it, wiped data even reflashed the whole system from the start RC29.nbh
So any idea why this happens and any solution ???
I believe in the original post on the Blue Star theme it states something about if this happens to pull the battery out, put it back in, boot into recovery and do a wipe (alt w) this will get the theme working.
Have you tried this yet?
I am a newbie and dont know where to post.
I just rooted and installed cyanogen 4.2.5 following this videos instructions exactly..
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8BZYEBsSws
it showed a successful install, no errors.
i am stuck on the green mytouch 3G screen. I removed the battery to reboot and i can get to the recovery mode screen.
i also tried doing the nandroid backup and then restoring the latest back up and that didnt work. i read about doing this on a cyanogen wiki but now im wondering if this erased my original backup?
i also tried wiping and reflashing. doesnt work.
is it possible to put a different version of cyanogen on the sd card while in recovery mode? i would like to try an older version and see if that does the trick
somebody please help i have no idea what to do!
FYI i have searched for hours to no avail, I know people have fixed this problem but its either not explained or its over me head. PLEASE HELP IM PULLING MY HAIR OUT!
anyone? .
I recently installed this ROM and I thought it was working fine. I did a restart of the device and now I seem stuck at a android screen that it doesn't see to be going pass. The android word just display as a light goes across the screen and then it seems to cycle again.
I can't seem to boot into recovery either to put restore the back up I made, because when I get to the white fast boot screen the selection won't scroll down to recovery when I hit the down volume button. It just stays there and then tries to install a patch for a radio I believe.
Any thoughts on why this is stuck at the android word screen or how I can get back to my back up and restore that. Thanks

Try removing your sd card and then vol down and power. Then once you're past fastboot white page pop it back in in time for recovery, and do your thing. Try clearing caches first. If not then restore a backup.

Yup I think I seen that in another forum to a similar type problem, I removed the SD card and was able to get back into clockwork recovery. I wipes all data/settings, cache partition and then loaded the rom again.
First thing I did was do a reboot so. So far it didn't get stuck and booted back up. Will do another reboot later tonight to see if it holds. Thanks for the tip
I'd reccomenf going to the dhd forum and getting the latest version (new one coming out soon)

dear xda developers. i rooted my phone and it worked well for about to days. i went to restore a custom rom and it froze sumthing it never done before. when i turned the phone on it had a blue screen. so i did some googling and i came to this website. i saw some of the others problems and i made an image file put AMSS, EMMCBOOt, Recovery.img, and boot.img. it fixed the blue screen but my phone keeps wanting to turn on and off. sometimes it just gets stuck on the at&t logo. it wont even boot into recovery to reset. it wont do anything. i seriously need help. if anyone could help me it would be great. i dnt wnt to go factory reset my phone and lose everything. by the way i have the huawei ideos x5 also known as the Impulse 4G. it would be really great if i could get help. thnx.
My sister said she spilled a little water on the screen of her phone the other day and it started boot looping.
Ive been trying to reflash it, but there are some issues...
If the phone is plugged in, it will cycle the charging battery on and off... unable to get into download or recovery.
If its not, it used to show the galaxy boot screen and turn on and off... now it just stays frozen on that screen. In either instance i was unable to get into recovery or download mode.
I got into recovery a couple of times when it actually booted the ROM, but everytime i would use the power button to try to make a selection the phone would just reboot and go into a cycle again.
I also got it into download mode once through the ROM but it cant get the ROM to boot anymore...
I might be able to get it into recovery but when i do it just reboots when i select anything.
and help would be awesome
thanks.
OH, when i actually got the ROM to boot it would throw an array of system errors and force closes. I also think the water had nothing to do with it and something she did after the water is what started causing the problems
I got recovery and i flashed a new kernal and ROM and erased everything and its still freezing at first Galaxy boot screen.
probably because the phone is water damaged?
See if the guide in the second link of my signature will help.
Thanks ill give it a shot.
But a major problem is that i am unable to get it to boot into download mode.
So i got CWM to boot, and i reflashed the kernal and ROM, with no luck.
CWM read catch error. Unable to mount... format... ect...
From what ive been reading the internal catch is fried....
Anyone have a motherboard they want to ship me? LOL
Thanks lumin30, I finally found a way to get the phone into download mode. (take the battery out, Put it back in, hold buttons, plug USB in, press power button) after a few reboots it would finally go.
I followed the link and got it back to stock and it booted. Now letting it sit to settle in and hopefully it will be functional again.
