Hi was wondering if anyone could help me. I rooted my friends phone awhile back and it was all fine and hunky dorry until he fudged up. I guess he got a new phone so he tried to give the Optimus V to his son but he did a factory reset from the settings menu you. No the phone won't do anything. Try to power it on but it just shows the first LG logo then off again. If I plug the phone in CWM comes up but I've tried installing a new rom but it winds up doing the same thing. Also I can't get it to show up in adb or fastboot.

Flash the stock rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1324105
Hello fellow XDA members! I am a Noob.
So I believe I have a Bricked Galaxy Note 10.1. Model GT-N8013
I Rooted Stock ROM, and flashed Collective Edition 5 Dark Side.
So heres what happened, everything seemed fine, until I made a mistake, I was Pimping my ROM with the PimpMyRom app. Every change seemed fine and my note worked, but when i saw the double boot screen slide in the app, i did what it said, i have the imf support or something like that. Then after i had the ''support'' needed, i clicked install button on the double boot slide, it seemed to do something and requested nothing, so i went ahead chose a second clip, and clicked set as second boot screen. It said it wont take effect until the 3rd boot, so i rebooted 3x, but at the third time, it was stuck at the boot screen with the galaxy note 10.1 logo ! It did not start or did anything, over time it would turn off and automatically reboot, but it would get stuck again !.
To attempt to fix it, I Booted into recovery (CWM) and did everything i could. I wiped nearly all cache, factory reseted, then out of fear, i flashed the stock firmware ROM from Sammobile website, with ODIN, and to my knowledge, it got worse!! It booted, seemed to do something then in the logo screen it got stuck once again!! Stock recovery says unable to mount /efs, i don't believe EFS is completely corrupted, I left it stuck for awhile and it shut down in like an hour. Help, what can i do to fix this!?!?!?!
Device cannot boot up.
I could boot into recovery and download mode only.
I thought that I too had bricked my 8013 the past weekend. Trying to do something that I shouldn't. It took me a bit of work and a lot of worry (my wife gave me my 8013 for Xmas and if I had to tell her that it was now a doorstop, she would have killed me). I used this method to get back to stock and then was able to work my way back to the ROM I use. I disremember in which order I Odin'd things, but in the end was able to un-brick. All I can say is give it a shot.

i did what u said...but all i got is i able to get through the logo but without seeing anything only able to hear the sound. any other tip? i got the same problem as above.
Hi guys, I searched on the net nearly everywere but I wasn't able to find a solution about it.
I own a rooted huawei Y300, with CeXstel v.62 kernel and a FusionX ROM.
All was working, then I followed the guide about Swapping that I found in this forum. Not having a card reader, I did the partition with the recovery (TWMP).
All seemed to work, then I installed the app Swapper2, following the guide.
After doing so, I tried to restore the data on my phone (namely, my apps) using Titanium Backup.
It got stucked at some time, so i restarted it.
After the Huawei Ascend Screen, the phone got stucked on a totally blue screen.
I tried to go to the recovery, but I was unable to do so.
I tried even to plug the shutted down phone to the charger, but, again, it got stucked on a blue screen, without showing the battery getting charged.
What am I supposed to do?
Hello
Using ADB fast boot try to get back to your stock rom, kernel .
Hope it works
I'll start from the beginning, II was rooted and I wanted to speed up my phone so I tried to use SWAP. I never got it to work for some reason but then out of no where I was on the home screen and then my phone rebooted but wouldn't start again, it got stuck at the T-Mobile 4g LTE splash screen. I was still able to go into recovery and all that. So I decided to format my phone. The. That screwed it up even more because then it got stuck at the Samsung Galaxy light start up screen. So then I used Odin and flashed a stock rom. But that still didn't help it got stuck at the T-Mobile splash screen again. I went into recovery and it said era error. I managed to fix that and that went a way. Then after an hour of searching I was able to boot up my phone because some forum said all I needed to do was spam the volume up and down buttons at startup to get it to work. After that I set up my phone but then I was getting any 4G and I couldn't make any calls but it said I had 5bars. I kept getting a message saying not registered on network. Nothing would make it work. I called T-Mobile and I went into setting tried fixing my apn, tried connecting to T-Mobile again but nothing. They just called me back today and after I gave them my i di number they said it's not working because I rooted my phone. It doesn't have a bad i eu or anything it's just not working. I did see that my imei on my account is different than the imei my actual phone displays. I am able to do wifi calling and that works. So obviously something got jacked up when I formatted my phone. I want to know if anyone can help. I didn't back up my efs because I didn't know I had to, the only thing I've rooted before was my tablet. I have a Samsung Galaxy light SGH-T399 . Can anyone help. Ik my thread was long but I wanted to kae sure I got every little detail.

Good news is, that we have a forum for your device on xda: Samsung Galaxy Light Discussion.
Bad news is that it seems that your IMEI (and maybe your EFS data) is corrupt/lost now.
Here is a guide how to recover your IMEI: [GUIDE] Recover your IMEI in 9 steps.
Hopefully it works on your phone too.
Good luck !

I rooted my phone not too long ago and today during a quick reset to update some modifications I made on Gravitybox, it has gotten stuck in a sort of boot loop. I've tried wiping the cache in modified recovery, booting in safe and download mode, and even resetting factory defaults. But every time I have tried those things, after the LG and android logo screen appear and the Verizon logo screen appears like during a normal boot, it appears the phone is stuck at that Verizon logo screen. I am thoroughly baffled as what to do, because I cannot even manage to get download mode.. I have looked thoroughly throughout the internet but cannot seem to find anyone who has had this problem, so, I decided that maybe someone here might know what to do.
Thanks in advance for any help that anyone can provide!
