This is my first post and I couldn't find the subject that easily; I just bought a BenQ P50 in Taipei but it's all in Chinese. Is there any way to change this into english?? Can I update this with an English ROM is something?? I'm a total Noob in this

You must perform a ROM UPDATE in order to change P50´s default language to Intl. English.

P50´s unlocking procedure is IMEI based.
ROM software is divided on two parts. One of them is OS aka Windows Mobile 2003 SE and the other one it´s Radio software.
When you perform ROM´s update on locked device it will remain locked.
To unlock your device you must contact your BenQ representatives and request for Unlocked ROM. Also you must provide your P50´s IMEI number (Needed to make a custom unlocked Radio ROM).

I've Samsung Focus (A&T unlocked). I've run through the following proccess:
Updated to 7008
Updated to NoDo
Reverted to 7008
Perform dev-unlock
Prevent relocking by Samsung Tools (and MMS fix)
Now Zune shows that my phone is up to date and no updates avaliable (even NoDo). Is there a way to force Zune finding updates except hard reset?

I bought an omnia w brand vodafone, this phone didn't get the fix for the sms bug but the the same model no brand got it.
i'm realy bored of this bug so i tried to force the update torught zune, my phone is interop unlocked and thx to wp7 root tools i managed to change a key in the registry editor " Local Machine\System\Platform\DeviceTargetingInfo", i modiefied the value data from VOD-IT to 000-it (the unbrended model), when i plugged the phone trought zune i got the OS microsoft update 7.10.8107.79 and the phone has been update without error, after this zune found the samsung firmware update needed to fix the sms bug but when i try to install it i get the 8018001E error and i can't install it, my question is , is there a way to force this update in some way???

below there is a post with my problems:
i've a Samsung Focus Flash and after the upgrade to Tango, following your guide, i haven't lost the Interop-Unlock.
So the guide worked perfectly.
After upgrade, for any error, I could not send or receive the sms; so i formatted the phone. ( in this period i need to sms and haven't a pc )
Normally i lost the Interop-Unlock.
When i tried to restore Mango for executing another time the unlock, magically Zune lost my old backup.
Probabilly doesn't knows more my telephone.
(i'm using always the same PC)
Is there a process for retrieving the backup lost? that i think be in my PC.
in negative case, there are others solutions.
Unfortunately nobody have the solution, so i can return flashing my phone to MANGO from TANGO version?
Where i can find a guide and the files for OMNIA Focus Flash brand WIND?

I'm on the orange UK rom for Samsung Omnia 7 and this provider currently isn't going to release the Tango update.
Two questions:
Firstly is it possible to make my phone eligible for the update via changing registry settings (my phone is unlocked and ready to rock and roll) or through the cab update method (I can't find reference to the latest cab version number and instructions on the forum - I've cab updated to 7.10.8107.79 currently)
Secondly - of I can't do anything suggested above I don't mind wiping and starting with a new rom so is there a different english ROM that will be eligible to get all the updates?

CAB updater allows you to forcibly install updates directly. Follow the instructions carefully.
