Donating HTC Hero devices to developers etc.

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, if I'm wrong please move my thread to the correct location. I wanted more traffic than what the Market Place could give, and since this is a donation and not for sale I figured General would work best.
I've got 3 CDMA HTC Hero's that were from an MVNO *Mitel - Sprint Backbone*. We've recently switched over 65 devices to the newer yet still crappy-ish HTC Detail (Read - HTC Evo 4G without any support and running stock 2.2). Of those 65 original Hero phones I was able to get my supervisors to 'ok' a donation to any developers who may want a new test device.
These phones are old, slow, and no longer being updated by any carrier, but they work, have good ESN's and are great for any developer who wants to test their applications on slower hardware with a smaller screen (for cross compatibility?).
My reason for thinking someone would want this is, if it runs on a old Hero, it'll run on pretty much anything.
So how do you get one should the demand be more than the three I'm posting, well the first 3 will be offered for free, including shipping. Those who read and reply the quickest become the lucky ones. I might be able to sale the others if there is a demand, however we will have to work this out in the "Market Place" should I get the go ahead for that as well.

A huge sorry to International viewers, but shipping outside of the US is a lot more than what I was told by our shipping department. We were given the OK for up to $40US (which was their estimate), however the costs far exceed this (by more than double). I'm upset with the fact that I promised these devices and am unable to deliver them to you.
If you'd like to pay for shipping I've sent a PM with an estimate of cost. However the cost of the device is 1/15th the cost of the shipping and I highly recommend that you do not.
That said I still have two devices for anyone in the lower-48 States of USA.

I personally apologize to Archer and Deaimian.

Hey guys!
I'd like to kick off a thread about USPS service, and about shipping/tracking!
What is USPS
United States Postal Service (USPS) is one of America's (and perhaps the world's) best shipping services, shipping pretty much anywhere in the world. Whether you be in America or Antarctica, USPS will ship to you.
What does USPS have to do with XDA-Developers?
Here on XDA, there is a section we call the marketplace. It's where you can buy, sell or even trade for phones/devices people want to sell! Most of the community are in America, so it makes it easier to ship. But some users live overseas, so the seller must ship via an international shipping service, which is usually UPS, USPS and DHL.
What's the point of this thread then?
Well, some people aren't exactly rocket scientists about USPS and know all the A's to Q's, so here in this thread users can post queries about the service itself, and in this case, the app aswell.

Yes, there is an official app called 'USPS Mobile' on the Google Play Store, so check it out! From there you can track, ship, estimate costs and more!
So I can ask anything?
As long as it is related to USPS, then yes. Please don't have general chats about what was in your dogs ****... even if there's last weeks paper in there. Not exactly... erm... something we want to know.

I once bought a expensive Notebook @ ebay.com and had it shipped to Germany via USPS.
The package got lost and they were not very helpful
They said only the person who sent the package can do anything about it.
Unfortunately, this guy (ebay seller) was not very cooporative
I really wonder if it would have been saver for me to use UPS or DHL.
Its unfortunate, that sometimes the person on the other end of the line at USPS is like that.
Most of the time, they will help, some ignore/be idiotic about it.
DHL and UPS are worse, trust me, lost so much crap through them.
I suggest getting Insurance posting, just to be safe.
Anyway, I have a spare HP Envy if you'd like that, I could send for free if you want, because I got them at work (5 if them)

Anyone have experience using cellarbar.com website? Reason I ask is because they are offering Galaxy Note 10.1 tablets for 237 dollars brand new.
If it's legit is one heck of a price,
Part of me thinks If it looks too good to be true... but part of me hopes it's the real deal.
Google did not bring up many hits indicating this maybe a scam website so I just don't know.

Edit: They do not accept paypal, only moneygram and western union. seems like this is one to stay away from. I'll try the number/email sometime to see what kind of response I get.

I ordered a Lumia 820 and 920 from them and I really recommend you. I live in Mexico City and I haven't problem to my packages. They ship to a lot of countries via UPS and Fedex (I got my two phones by Fedex). They can help you with the customs in your country if you ask them. Five stars rated by me.

Reseller ratings, unfortunately, is not a good sample to seek accurate reviews from. 9 times out of 10 customers only use this site to leave negative comments. While only 2% of all orders actually leave reviews to begin with.
Reviews found here are more accurate: http://nel.ec/NEGoogleReviews
These reviews are taken directly from the customer, by Google Checkout, in their follow up email that is sent to all shipped orders. This will give you a better sample, and size for your request.

Ordered 2 HTC Butterfly and they were cancelled without explanation
Last week I bought 2 HTC Butterfly, from Negri Electronics. At first, the site wouldn´t let me buy 2, so I bought just one for $ 779.50.
I came back the nex day for the other one that I needed, and saw that the price had gone up to $ 818. I really needed these phones so I bought it anyways. A few days later, I get a refund notice from the 2 sites I used to pay for my purchase, Paypal and Amazon, and no email, no explanation whatsoever from Negri. There is something very fishy about this company, I´¨ve been researching online and found several complaints about them.
The phones I purchased and were cancelled without any reason are listed as IN STOCK on their web site, if I were you I would stay away from these people, just my 2 cents.

Very sorry to hear about your issue. Did you ask anyone at NegriCare about these issues before posting on this board? Often times asking a customer care representative you are able to get an answer so your post on this board is complete. Instead it just leaves others in the dark thinking that we did something deceitful.
If you have an order number, you can contact [email protected] and you can check on the status. Here are some possibly reasons it was canceled.
1. You paid with Google or Amazon and the order was considered "fraud" and it was canceled. At this point no email is sent from our behalf.
2. You paid with PayPal for a color BLACK Butterfly, which is not released. At this point the order would be canceled after 30 days automatically. We do not have the option to extend that.
3. The order was canceled because you sent an email to request just this. In this case your order would have been canceled and no email would be sent.
These are all possibly scenarios. There isn't anything "fishy" about canceled orders. In fact, it happens alot. The screening process is quite involved and out of our control. Often times the customer would be furious with us when we didn't do anything. This is why it's best to contact the company prior to venting on message boards as it might not have been under our control.
Please contact us at your earliest convenience. It's never nice to be called "fishy" and we would like to make sure that you don't have that opinion of us any longer.

You will always find complaints if you look hard enough. We just hope that you are able to see past the petty issues that a few customers had and focus on the great experiences others have had - and posted about.

Please keep in mind that it's very difficult to get a customer to leave a good review even if they have had a great experience. Often times the only time a review is left is when it's negative. Of over 56,000 successful orders, only the above have left reviews. Of that population, look at how many are positive.

I had a misfortune to buy a defective phone from this web-store. After the return, multiple emails, delays, unreasonable and unfair offers, they have finally suggested a partial refund which I agreed to just to be ignored once again. Today, 7 months since return, our dispute is still not settled. I wouldn't call that trustworthy.
Something has happened to them. Their "contact' page is missing. and my replies to my existing email chain are unanswered for 3 weeks.

As you can read by the title.. This company is loosing all the grounds and their promises among the customers. As it is said extreme growth made you mad and your madness will be the reason of your fall. Same thing going to happen with MI.
I have ordered poco f1 in "MI turn 5 "sales with pre payment. 3 days I awaited for my product to be deliver but they were not evrn concern regarding the delivery.. On 3 day I called their customer services and spokesman told me that this product is out of stock. I asked them to deliver my product as it is paid and the time I was booking it was in the stock. After 2 days I called them and they said that complaint has raised, it will be delivered with few extra days. Even at that time I was convinced... After that m keeping calling and chatting in their online support and both of the personal are telling me different stories.. Suddenly they post that my "address is not serviceable" I asked them what the hack is that but like wise their replies.. They said its technical issue and it will not effect my order. I was waiting and waiting and they just had one thing that our team will conatch with you but no one called back or gave me proper reply. Today after 7 days of my order I talked with the chat support and that guy told me that my product will be shipped tonight and they are putting in express delivery.. I was so relived but after 2 hours one of the customer care representative called me and said that they are cancelling my order as they are not delivering in my place... I was so shocked, they said my money will be refunded but does that make any sense. I contact with the chat support and they said sir I have checked and your product will be ship.. Like wow... One person saying cancelled and another is saying shipping.
Now I want to know this from this NO.1 company.. Are we fool that whatever crap you will present to us we will take it
1.when the product was out of stock how did i order it and how come they booked it and took the money
2. If my place was not in service how come it was not showing at the time of delivery..
3. After knowing that the estimated time of delivery is already crossed, suddenly how come the place is not serviceable.
4. Even if they refunding my money, what about the interest they should pay on keeping my money in their account for last 7 days.
5. Like me don't know how many people have booked it and with how many people they have did it and that much amount of money they got in their account and after 7 days earning all the interest, they just refunding. Like this they are earning their revenue and making their brand no 1. As its seriously an offence. We Indians aren't fool but their foreign countries now earning like this way so they can sale low price phone without concerning about the customers.
Now I leave it on you guys. If you think m right kindly support me show them that what they did is not negotiable and we aren't the one whom they can take granted..
