Flash ROM for Prophet

Hello people.
Yesterday i tried to upgrade my i-mate JAMin to WM6 but i couldn't do it.
anyway, because i couldn't upgrade it to WM6, after i upgrade to 2.40 WWE when i arrived at home i've tryed to upgrade to 2.13_Portuguese_ROM...
Here was when the problem started.
When updrade started, at 1% the problem ocurred... message ERROR.
From what i've read I need a flash ROM, I'm desperate...
Can any one help to find the flash ROM and how to recover my PPC?

you need No Vindor ID to install the ROM
please give your IPL SPL (G3 or G4), what error message?
but your problem can be solve I'm sure, don't do anything you don't know what it is
ask before every step !!!!!!ok

Again, would people please read through the forum carefully before starting a new thread and ask the same questions over and over again. It is not that I am mean (just getting old), because any new thread will take time to read. Why not the person who need answer to read first and save other people's time. I found this forum contains so much information that most problems people generally ask are well covered one way or the other.

you may right, but human is talking here, we are not machines, human did mistakes and sometimes even if read it new people hard to get it, they need it step by step

I've seen a lot of replies like yours witch they are not nice I think they have to be deleted

Thank you for you quick reply and support.
Starting to answering your questions:
- My i-mate is G3
-  ERROR [320~328] : INVALID COMMAND
These errors seldom occur. However, if one of these errors occur, it could not be recovered and the device had to be sent back to the customer service center. In this case, you have to flash a new ROM code.
About the ROM 2.40..., i'm confused and since i can't read my i-mate i don't know the correct version but it was downloaded here in this forum.

look for RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe you can find it here
then unlock CID see the WIKI how to
and then install any ROM you want

this not SPL problem
the arror at 1% is becasue of changing the langauge he just need NO VINDOR ID
that is all
and I want him to unlock CID, please do my steps

If he have SPL 3.08 -> CID Unlock doesnt work -> Device report wrong DeviceID and CID ^_^

As i said, my i-mate is biack to life.
I try to unlock CID, but the link ftp://xda:[email protected]/Uploads/Prophet/pdamobiz.com_downgrade_and_unlockcid.rar is not working.
Can any one put it on working?

Right now my i-mate is Cid Unlocked and working with WM6 Prophet_4.0.0.0.3_PV just fine.
I´m Going to try and explore this (Beautifull) Rom and post my feedback.

As I said before, the feedback for this rom is just... GREAT.
Better than this only if it was in Portuguese (for me, off Corse), because in these rom theres no Portuguese GPRS configurations.

wm5->wm6 please help

I wrote in the "WM6 Rom collection" thread three days ago, but nobody answered yet , so once again i ask my questions.
I'm a newbie, sorry for my questions and my poor english. I've already read the wiki, and read in forums a lot.
Are the wm6 roms (the newers like PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5a and Fantastic Mobiz v2.0b4) both for G3 and G4 models? How do I know if a rom is for G3 or G4 if it is not written on it?? (I don't really want to brick my phone)
I've cid unlocked my G3 device (as it was written in the wiki) Now ipl is 2.09 spl 2.20.0000 and I have the old rom becouse of the cid unlock(14409.1.1.2) and the original qtek extended rom.
2nd queston: Do I have to do something with my extended rom (clear or uppgrade or delete?..) before flashing a wm6 rom, or just do the things what is written in the wm5->wm6 wiki? plz help, couse i couldn't get more information by reading the forums.

have you download this roms?
try them ... you see all what you need if you see in the archiv and importent ... read the guidelines!!!!!!!!
if you do this ... you know all what you need!

I wrote, couse I want to try them, but I don't dare to try them, couse there wasn't written if these are good for both g3 and g4 models. (or where should I read it?)
what do you mean of reading archiv and importent, ang guidelines? Should I read the whole "WM6/Crossbow Prophet Info" thread whit its 750 posts?
Actually I want to uppgrade to this rom:"PDAViet 4.0.0.0.5a Cross" and I read it's thread, But I haven't ever made a rom upgrade, and I don't know what to do with my extended rom, and this g3/g4 thing.
I also tired to use the search.but it didn't find anything.
It would be nice if you could give some links where I can find exactly what I need.

you'll find it in the step 1 folder
extract the ROM you've downloaded there should be 2 steps right? open step 1 folder there are 2 executable files, usually the file names are:
ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe
ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe
you do know your device is a G3 or G4 right? just open the ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3.exe if your device is G3 or ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe if you have G4 device. that's it go to step 2 and you're done. how hard can it be??

im havin d same prob too...so d thing is we need to first download d WM6 ROMS at d archieve then we will know what to do next from d guidelines..izzit ?

I have a locked tmobile mda... I forget what I need to do b4 I can flash a new rom... I think all I have to do is CID unlock it right? But I forget how. Any help would be great

Yes the fastest one way to figure this out again is to read the stickies labeled unlocking and UPGRADING. That is usually pretty helpful.

hi ive tryd to up to wm6 but no luck ive read all the info on how to doit downloaded loads of software still no good ive managed to put wizard love rom on it for now but cant get round the cid unlocking then how to up aput wm6 on
ive tryd it but dont want to kill the phone could some one make an ruu of wm6 then upload it or dont it work that way

Which is your device, a G3 or G4,how come we can tell,untill and unless you do not post the vital data of your phone,no one can suggest you any help without knowing the version of your phone.always post the data.

which DOC chip version you got,a G3 or G4 ? to verify post your IPL/SPL...? or download the WST Tool,install and run it and post the report to determine if it's a G3 or G4 device.You can download the WST tool here :-

If it's a G3,it's required to first CID unlock the device and than upgrade to wm6.

hi i want to upgrade from wm 5 to 6.1 and i just want to make sure i am doing it ok as i dont want to mess it up
i have a spv m600 g4

Read, search and enjoy!

Remember...
You must to upgrade your ISP and SPL via softspl... then perforn the hardSPL to unlock it forever, then... try all the roms for elf or elfin you want.
If you dont know what am i talking about read the wiki pages for touch elf or elfin.
