I am looking for a new battery for my wizard and found so many batteries of different prices. Can any one tell me which is good to buy and how much it cost and will be ship in Canada.
I suggest you look for this issue in the Wizard section. i'm almost certain it has been discussed already.

Hello everybody! I love my Qtek 9000 for many reasons, but the thing I hate the most is the battery. I tried different ROMs (Ranju's, Tomal's etc) and I'm using now the Shiva310.
My ppc never shut down with battery less than 10%...NEVER! But now it's impossible to use it, because it ends at 70%! With the previous it ended at about 50%.
Anybody knows why? I've paid attention to flash when I had full charged battery (Green LED).
Hi,
I have similar problem in past. I have sent my universal to technical assistance too, for more security. But my suspect are right, was the battery. After I have changed the battery, the problem solved.
Regards
Had the same problem - only one solution was/is available, as to my knowledge, to change the battery
Hi
Change your battery. It will solve the problem. I had the same problem and I solved it that way.
Thank you all for your answers. I tried to resurrect my battery with this thread (Solution 2: Recalibrate the battery) and tonight I'll try to put in the freezer. Then I'll reflash the ROM again to understand if the ROM version matters.
I'll came back in this thread to show the results. Bye!
You are only $29USD away form a new battery, so I´ll recommend you to try that option.
Good luck
I saw prices like that in a site but I don't know how much will the shipping cost! I'm in Italy and the International rate are not much friendly...
Aren't there cheaper batterys on eBay? or are they of lower quality? I've been thinking of bying an extended battery (3000+ mhA) before I placed my uni up for sale.
Should one buy batteries from eBay? if so does anyone know of a reliable seller?

Ersil: I'm obviously a new member and I'm not familiar with a lot on this forum but can you please tell me, if you are from Itali how come you have FIDO.CA as a mobile service provider, isn't it only a Canadian mobile company? I've noticed this a lot on other profiles; I've just always thought that Fido is strictly a Canadian company.

I'll check on eBay, but I don't like it much in this time, it's becoming too expensive.

Oh! So it's the mob company! I didn't know that! I think that it's the default, I'll set my operator: WIND.
2 Batteries (seems the standard ones) and a charger 22,8 Australian Dollar (about 13.27€) from an Honk Kong ebayer.
Do you think I can trust him?

The seller seems legitimate, and with almost 40,000 sales at %99.3 positive I would trust him. I also checked his reviews and most buyers seem to be very happy with their purchase, the only negatives were due to slow shipping and wrong parts but at %99.3 you can't go wrong.
My only concern is with the battery itself; would it hold long enough of a charge to match the original battery’s life.
I bough a couple batteries for my Kodak camera and neither of them hold the charge as long as my original does.
I hope this helped.
Now Ive finally sold my Prophet and lookin for a new HTC Device, which is better than Prophet
I bought a Wizard but sold it to a friend as I wasnt impressed.
Now I have a choice to make, my budget being Pak Rs. 12,000 (US$ 150 approx), I can buy Atom or Universal but im consfused
Looking forward to members who have used wither 1 or both of these devices to guide me which one is the better choice.
(You may also advise any other HTC device which is available in the same price range)
Ill be very grateful to those who spare their time and help me out
Regards
Okay, im an Atom Life owner and i must say Atoms are very high performance devices but have one crucial flaw.. poor battery life compared to other devices. They also come with a couple of useful apps from O2 and are rather sturdy to be completely honest.
the universal on the other hand.. Wiki
To be honest, its all personal preference.. if you want the full keyboard, go with the Universal.. if you want just a pure touchscreen, you would get an Atom..
Ive already bought an atom, without knowing about its poor battery time
Shame to hear that...
As a happy Universal owner I dare to say that Uni is one of the best HTC devices ever build
lol ive got the battery issues as well.. i bought a Mugen 1800mAh battery and i use power saving mode.. lasts a couple of days of use
I see we are to late, but I would have recommended the Universal!
hehe.. another "what is better" question
In Android General is a thread talking about battery life... I recommend reading it.
I started a new thread to ask averyone if you, owners of a Desire S, have bougth a better battery on ebay or amazon or a site like that, and if it worth the price.
In example, I found a battery on Ebay that has (the seller says it has) 2430MAh, search for it because I cannot link pages yet.
Can anyone suggest me/us?
2430=fake
you have 2 options that are known as good ones
1) anker-
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Anker-1600m...6?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4aae657046#shId
2) mugen power, more reliable, i think that quality is better, 1800, but costs much more (search for coupons, 10-15% off can be found all the time)
http://www.mugen-power-batteries.co...-extended-battery-for-htc-desire-s-s510e.html
I'll aggree with what Tik_Tak suggested and while being a person that, when it comes to my cell phone, always does a good research I'd say that Anker batteries are an awesome value for money.
On the other hand the Mugen batteries are known, from what I've found in several forums, to be better in quality and they have a larger capacity.
Personally I ordered a Mugen last week and by the end of the next week I'll have it in my hands.
Ok guys, thnxs for the quick replies. I also thought that 2430 should be fake, but then I saw 90+ sells, thats why I post that.
This can also to be an advice for other owners.
I will ask another thing, if anyone know the answer: why haven't the industry improved the batteries of our phones? I mean, why not create batteries of 2000+MAh? that will only be translated in the size of our phones, just some milimeters more, isn't it?
PS: thanks @Tik_Tak for the links, really helped me.
Check out the Desire S accessories forum.
I opened a thread regarding the 1600mah Mugen battery.
Sent from my HTC Desire S using xda premium
So my Sensation (non-XE, standard) is almost 2 years old, and I noticed that the battery is getting weaker and weaker, so I figure I should buy a new one. Anker would be my obvious choice, but the thing is I live in Poland and can't order a reasonably priced one from Amazon because it doesn't ship to Europe. Now, where can I find a good and relatively cheap battery? I'd go for Anker since it's recommended all over forums, but I'm open for suggestions. Also, I've checked local markets and there's a cheap 1800 mAh battery called ANDIDA - anyone tried it?
If someone could also post price tresholds so I'd know what's overpriced and what's a good deal, that'd be great. Probably gonna buy it on eBay or regional auction sites.
If its cheap and the price is below reasonable, you should try it.
Who knows, it might be better than Anker! Haha
eBay
Try looking for an anker on eBay. Look for international sellers
Go to amazon and find a list of battery brands that has good reviews. there should be some alternative choice alongside anker. Try to see if they are available in your local market.
The Anker is hands-down the best. Too bad there aren't any decent REALLY extended batteries like the Mugen, but without the sacrifice of gps
Where in the world could we now find a reliable battery for our old but gold galaxy S5?
Are there any authentic batteries still being produced till date?
The GAD batteries from UK are now out of production too!
Do you guys suggest downgrading to the very first firmware in order to retain battery performance and eliminate lag?
Crickets....anyone???
any idea when that GADfull battery from the UK will restock? I see them as the only decent option other than the extended batteries from AliExpress..
Anyone have experience with one of these?
Wish I knew. I saw somewhere that Polarcell used to be good, but then heard that Nohon was too, and the consensus now is that Nohon lasts a year. Getting to where the phones need new batteries and all we know is that the "Samsung" batteries are either run down used ones or counterfeit.
Downside of Polarcell is that they seem to only have them in Germany, which means $$ shipping.
I need a battery for mine and am trying to look around. Someone somewhere said "go to a local repair place that has been there a while, they know the ones that actually work"
