So my Sensation (non-XE, standard) is almost 2 years old, and I noticed that the battery is getting weaker and weaker, so I figure I should buy a new one. Anker would be my obvious choice, but the thing is I live in Poland and can't order a reasonably priced one from Amazon because it doesn't ship to Europe. Now, where can I find a good and relatively cheap battery? I'd go for Anker since it's recommended all over forums, but I'm open for suggestions. Also, I've checked local markets and there's a cheap 1800 mAh battery called ANDIDA - anyone tried it?
If someone could also post price tresholds so I'd know what's overpriced and what's a good deal, that'd be great. Probably gonna buy it on eBay or regional auction sites.
If its cheap and the price is below reasonable, you should try it.
Who knows, it might be better than Anker! Haha
eBay
Try looking for an anker on eBay. Look for international sellers
Go to amazon and find a list of battery brands that has good reviews. there should be some alternative choice alongside anker. Try to see if they are available in your local market.
The Anker is hands-down the best. Too bad there aren't any decent REALLY extended batteries like the Mugen, but without the sacrifice of gps

alright im looking for a spare battery and with all the knock offs online i really being a bit sketched out, if anyone could help me it would be great!
the siedio online is 1600mah
http://www.seidioonline.com/product-p/basi16hnx1.htm
i also found this:
http://store.cheapnexusone.com/HTC-Nexus-One-OEM-1500-mAh-Slim-Extended-Battery.html
but i really dunno if its legit, cause i can t find anything about it anywhere else online...
also i found this
http://www.amazon.com/Google-Nexus-...3?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1266349698&sr=1-3
problem is siedio doesn t sell a 1400mah battery, its nowhere on there website so i dunno if its legit or not?
i guess my question really is:
is the siedio a legit battery brand and its gonna go take a crap on me or damage the phone
and are the other 2 battery legit or knock offs?
if your definition of "legit" means made by HTC, then Seidio's battery is not legit. it's been my experience (over the past 3 years) that Seidio sells quality batteries. i don't know the specific manufacturer, but they're likely from japan. all of my purchased batteries performed well. i plan to purchase Seidio's 2800 mAh battery this week.
+1 for Seidio batteries & thier other accessories in general!
I've had my Galaxy S 4G for several months now, and recently the battery life has lessened during daily use.
I originally used a 1700mAh genuine Samsung battery (forgive me it may have been 1650), but switched over to some backup batteries I have that are 1500mAh.
The 1500's don't have the same life, so I'd like to buy something better.
I found a 2000mAh on eBay, but would that require a new battery door? The seller does not indicate the battery size. Is it possible to get a 2000mAh battery for my 4G S that is the same size as the original battery?
Any suggestions and response are appreciated. Thanks! - Jamie
as far as I know, there's only one fairly decent battery that will fit your phone as is. and that would be the 1800 mAh battery. there's a thread about it in the accessories section, you should look it up
Thanks for your suggestion. Doesn't seem to be the sort of question many want to answer.
They sell 1800mAh batteries on eBay for 2.99, so I think its worth a shot. I just don't want to get a battery that requires a new door, or makes my phone thicker.
Just saying, you get what you paid for. Honestly, IMO you should try to get the OEM samsung battery for the epic 4g touch, or ankler 1800mAh batteries. there was a battery thread somewhere around the vibrant accesories board which someone tested a bunch of batteries, and a lot of the cheaper off-brands had a lower mAh rating than advertised
We shall see. I actually ended up ordering a 2000mAh off eBay for 11.49. The battery was listed as a fit for my phone. I have actually had some good experience in the past buying third-party batteries, specifically for Motorola phone, but, I've also had poor experiences buying knock-off batteries for blackberries that were packaged to look like the genuine thing.
I'll post back, maybe in a week or so when the battery is delivered and I test it.

ן just want to know in terms of battary life for my i9000 which will survive the longest?
is there any cheaper place to buy this battarys im from europe
it looks like the anker for 12 dollers is the cheapest in between them.. but is it worth it? 1800VS stock battary?
and is it maybe worth to buy the 3500 ones for 7$ off ebay? really cheap but not many comments on those battary's (the cheap one's from ebay)
Bump
Hi all,
Sorry if this subject has been hammered already, but a lot of these things are time specific, i.e. battery tech improves with time.
About a year ago I bought a Desire HD 1600mah replacement battery from a popular auction site, and it worked for a few weeks.
Now it doesn't hold a charge...and basically makes my phone freak out when I put it in.
I've seen Gold batteries on the popular auction site, which are 2450mah ish. I've also heard things about Anker batteries, the 1600mah kind.
What do other DHD users in the UK (or at least available to the UK) recommend for a replacement battery.
That cheap 1600mah one is in the bin...you know the ones that come with a free YiboYuan charger!
Thanks all.
It has been mentioned many times.
Check for mugen batteries.
It's available for all Europe.

They are very expensive, and the capacity is not much bigger than stock. Has anyone any experience of the following? :-

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007H5DMKQ/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_gb?ie=UTF8

http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007PZNWJY/ref=cm_sw_r_an_am_ap_am_gb?ie=UTF8
I've also heard mixed views of anker batteries...so I'm not sure about these. The mugen power ones, although expensive, no one has a bad word to say, so maybe the high price is worth it...although the low capacity rating (1500 mah?) concerns me.
Thanks.

The best combination of mah quantity and quality is Anker 1909mah.
Only drawback, the mod in battery cover to hold the bigger battery in place.

I don't think that cheap batteries are so good. Personaly , I've never tested. I prefer the original ones provided by HTC, or the expensive ones.
Where in the world could we now find a reliable battery for our old but gold galaxy S5?
Are there any authentic batteries still being produced till date?
The GAD batteries from UK are now out of production too!
Do you guys suggest downgrading to the very first firmware in order to retain battery performance and eliminate lag?
Crickets....anyone???
any idea when that GADfull battery from the UK will restock? I see them as the only decent option other than the extended batteries from AliExpress..
Anyone have experience with one of these?
Wish I knew. I saw somewhere that Polarcell used to be good, but then heard that Nohon was too, and the consensus now is that Nohon lasts a year. Getting to where the phones need new batteries and all we know is that the "Samsung" batteries are either run down used ones or counterfeit.
Downside of Polarcell is that they seem to only have them in Germany, which means $$ shipping.
I need a battery for mine and am trying to look around. Someone somewhere said "go to a local repair place that has been there a while, they know the ones that actually work"
