GPS PC Software w/ TP? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I'm looking for a good PC program that is compatible with the TP when using it as an external GPS recevier. I already configured it using GPS2Blue and seems to be working. I've tried Google Earth Pro, but it doesn't seem to be compatible.
So what progs are you guys using on your PCs for GPS software?
Thanks,

Window Mobile 6 and TomTom 5.2

Hi Guys,
I've used a search but can't find anything related to my current problem. I upgraded my Tytn to WM6 and reloaded Tomtom but it doesn't connect to the GPS. I'm sure it's about coms ports but I haven't sussed it out yet, anyone know the settings? Also, any links to a user guide / explanation of the GPS manager in WM6 would be useful too.
Incidentally, I had to force Tomtom onto my Tytn with MW5 because the nice, unhelpful people at Tomtom simply stated it doesn't work with that model. It does, you just have to load the cabs to the storage card and run them from there whilst manually copying the voices to the device Tomtom folder. It worked fine though....
What gps receiver do you have?

TomTom 7 GPS problems.

I'm using a Touch Pro (Raphael/Fuze) with TomTom7.
So heres the problem, my Raph's GPS would work fine with Google Maps getting satelites easily and quickly but while using TomTom it doesnt find any. Tried different COM ports and built in gps-reciver etc.
So im wondering now how i can get it to work... Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Using GPS on the pc throughout the TP

Hello
Is there a way in which i can use a navigation program such as IGO on my pc by using the GPS on the TP with the USB cable or bluetooth ?
Thank you
I dont think so... The only way is using a program that let you "see" whats happening on the PDA like this... http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...D6-1DCC-47AA-AB28-6A2B006EDFE9&displaylang=en
Good luck!
havn't tried it but this looks promising
GPS2Blue
Let me know how it works for you.

xAndroid on HTC Diamond Pro + USB-Sync not detected?!

Hello,
last weekend I gave xAndroid a try on my O2 Diamond Pro (aka HTC Raphael). Everything seems to work very good so far! Wifi and Phone work. Amazing work so far!
But I am unable to get the XDA running xAndroid connected to my Windows Vista. Running on Windows Mobile the phone gets connected to my Windows-PC. Running xAndroid I am unable to install the Android/ADB Driver to attach my Android-Phone using USB. The USB-Dev-Mode is enabled!
I was using the tutorial of this page and recently I updated to the latest modules/rootfs/initrd images from there.
http://xdandroid.com/wiki/Main_Page
Does anyone have a clue how to make the XDA+Android make my Windows Vista detect the USB-Device?
Is it possible to use the USB to connect the XDA without WiFi to Internet using my PC (as known from Windows-Mobile/Active Sync using USB-connection). I also would like to try any kind of PIM-Sync using the USB-Cable as WiFi/Bluetooth are taking too much power off the battery.
For WM-Sync I am currently using Birdiesync + Thunderbird/Lightning. Is there anything else than Google-Sync that may work for Android? I would prefer a "local" solution (f.e. local server on my Windows machine).
Best regards
Gabriel

Mk808b + usb gps

Hi All, has anyone had any success in getting android devices such as the MK808B to work with external GPS devices such as the Prolific PL2303? Desperately trying to find a way to support it so that I may use one to make a car PC. So if anyone can help / advise me how to install drivers and get it recognised in copilot I would be extremely grateful. Thanks
Dave

I did try this using my android phone and a few apps that share your phone GPS as a bluetooth GPS but couldnt get it recognized by copilot. Id definately be open to this if i can get it recognized in there. Currently im using an archos 80 G9 tablet as my car PC, but want to switch to this mini pc for better performance and a better mounting option for in the dash - so my aim is to get GPS and a HDMI / USB touchscreen (such as an egalax screen) working. Then its a go. Ill then probably turn my hand to application development (my day to day job) to come up with the best option user interface wise and will happily share all the information and software i develop with the community.
MK808B + CoPilot (GlobalSat BT-359)
I am able to use MK808B + CoPilot (GlobalSat BT-359) with the help of a mock GPS provider app (Blutooth GPS). GoogleMaps \ Sygic are both working perfect.
I am also looking for a HDMI/USB touch screen for it, any update on this?

Ok, got a copilot branded BT GPS device, and its recognised and seems to be working with some apps - but not the one i want the most, copilot. It just states its unable to register for GPS updates, which sucks!

I have one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Dual-Electron...p/B006M49G80/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=136138107
I use it w/out issue w/Google Maps, so I'll drop co-pilot on and see how it works out.

I contacted the makers of Co-pilot and they said they dont support external GPS receivers. I have both the bluetooth and USB receivers but I think for co-pilot to support them I'd need to get to be recognised as the inbuilt GPS receiver. Co-pilot tells me its unable to register for GPS requests - but other apps _seem_ to work, but currently all my testing is done on a PC monitor, so its hard to hit the road and see if its actually working. I currently have an archos G9 80 built into my Jag XK8 and im so pleased with the functionality - but not so much with the GPS support (can be hit and miss) and with the mounting. Prior to that i had a windows PC, but that was much worse of an installation.
