I imagine it is much easier for T-mobiles automated system to track total data usage vs tethered data usage.
I know I used to have the 2GB plan, and getting throttled sucks. My question is, why do you need to tether 20 gb a month?
Also, why does everyone on this forum trying to find ways around paying their bills? At first I thought people were having real issues tethering, then I realized people are having issues tethering, that didn't have tethering on their plans. And were COMPLAINING that they couldn't tether.

Tethering on unlimited plan?

With no root, is there a way to tether if I have the old unlimited plan?
foxfi app no root needed

New AT&T Unlimited Data Plan w/Directv Tethering

Has anyone been able to use apps like FoxFi or rooting to Tether on the new AT&T Unlimited Data Plan w/Directv.
They say they will throttle you after 22GB. Is there a way to hide your tether usage.
Also they don't offer any kind of tethering option for that plan, even if your willing to pay extra, which is weird.
I am thinking about switching to that plan, wanted to know peoples opinion.
Thank you.

Dropping Verizon Unlimited Plan?

I still have my unlimited data plan with Verizon. One of the few who are still grandfathered in. The question is, should I drop it in favor of the current "unlimited" plan. The price difference is nearly $100. I don't yet see any issues with it short of the wifi hotspot limitation of 10gb/mo. I don't use that anyhow.
Any thoughts?
