i dunno if my phone is useless now!

please while using shelltool. to upgrade wm5 to wm6 but ive just got an error message and suddenly lost my connection from activesync! please i dont know how to retrieve my phone! now after bootscreen... white screen appears and nothing happens! i tried hard reset it. nothing happens! please help!
i wish someone here could help me! please! im crying like a baby here! cant sleep! waiting for answers!

Well, then you are not the notsohappy owner of a brick
Get it into bootloader and flash your carrier's official rom
Also, see that in WM6 you must use only ActiveSync 4.5 or higher
Ask if you need help, I will be here for couple of hours and there are others who know way more than me and also can help

Get the rgb boot loader screen on by holding down camera while you reset. Then connect via usb to the pc. You will see the word " usb " appear on the bottom of the screen on your phone.
Run the exe you downloaded from your manufacturer / carriers website and it will install the stock rom.
Phone will reboot when finished.

Almost giving up - Impossible to flash my Tytn II

Hello,
I've tried flashing my Kaizer by all different ways I could, but no way to make it work. I've downloaded a lot of different ROMs (Alex, Dutty, VIET, etc), but I always get stuck in the same point. Either in Vista or XP, RUU always stops with ERROR [262] and the phone after the three-color screen, get in blank with a bar in 0% and gets stuck.
So, I've tried flashing via microSD. No better luck on that; even using different SDs, I always get stuck in a Loading... message in the phone, and nothing happens.
I've read a lot of forums and done all suggestions such as not using Anti-Virus, Firewall, etc and formatting SD as FAT32.
One interesting thing is ActiveSync (and WMDC in Vista) simple "dies" after the phone goes to the Three-color screen so it sounds the "new hardware found" sound but no new hardware seems to become available. I always can soft reset it and my old ROM (and configs) come back, so nothing seems to be done to phone's ROM.
This Kaizer was bought in the US (Amazon.com), unlocked, in Feb/08. I had some rare Freezing Problems on it (freezes while idle).
Today's config:
WM 6 Professional
CE OS 5.2.1620 (Build 18125.0.4.2)
ROM 1.82.721.0 WWE
Radio 1.27.15.32

You should probably do more research and reading. Start with the Wiki and specially HardSPL search for it. The answers are in here you just need to search. Welcome to the forum and this is not a spoon fed forum but rather put your time in the research before you brick your phone. HOPE YOU WON'T GET FLAMED....

I've also tried HARDspl, my efforts went there when nothing worked. I could make HARDspl run some code in my phone (had to hit "Continue" on phone's screen), but I got a freeze blank screen instead of the Three-color/USB screen.
So, I've forced the Three-color screen by reseting the phone (and got the USB sign), but the HARDspl's updater got, again into ERROR [262]. Ok, I didn't believe this was goig to work anyway, but tried it (considered safe to try).
I have tried HARDspl from a Vista PC, I'll try again from a XP box. I'll also read more on HARDspl.
So, as you can seen not even HARDspl seems to be workimg in my case...

Do a search for HardSPL white screen. There's a thread in this very forum about it freezing on a white screen.
I think I remember some issues with it on Vista, but I don't have Vista, so I don't pay attention.
You must HardSPL first. Search for HardSPL and whatever issue you're having, and I bet you can find a resolution and have it unlocked inside of ten minutes.
Xtreme_G took the time to search and post a link, and still managed to beat me to it. Bastard.

i guess you need a heavy paper weight so keep flashing without installing hardspl or without reading and searching ...

Please Help... My Screen Showing only showing 3 Colors

Hi,
I was trying to install the Dutty's WM 6.1 OS on my Boss's Tilt, didnt worked with the kaiser-HardSPLv1, and looked around for solution and found that i can copy "JumpSPL1.56-KAIS" and run it on the Tilt and than can install the OS, but somehow, its giving this 3 Color Screen and Serial and when i connect to USB, it shows USB instead of Serial, than when i try to install Dutty's OS, it comes up with Recovery option and doesnt finish successfully, it stays on 0% and than again goes back to Recovery option.
Please help me, will be enough if i can go back to where i was before installing anything or any way to Hard Reset and get back to the previous state before running JumpSPL1.56-KAIS.
Please reply ASAP.

Thank you for your response.
I looked at a similar thread and after the white screen, i put the jumpspl on Tilt and ran it and thats how it got stuck on the 4 color screen.
My Screen Shows
KAIS1*0
SPL-1.93.0000
CPLD-8
on the right top corner the tri-color screen displays RUUNBH
and in the bottom White Screen(4th) it shows USB if its connected to USB o/w it shows Serial.
I can no longer connect to the PC using ActiveSync.
Please guide me to fix this problem.

most of us know how to answer and it has been answered many times... why don't u get off ur lazy ass and do some work by searching and reading around.
and to op rule 1: never install anything for anyone.
and secondly u have bad sector blocks which can be cleared using mtty ..again search and read.

THE SOLUTION FOR THE 10,000 TIME DEPENDS ON YOUR SPL VERSION.
FOR YOUR 1.93 SPL IT IS AS FOLLOWS:
USING MTTY ISSUE THE FOLLOWING COMMANDS:
cmd>set 16 0
cmd>task 8
FOR INFO ON USING MTTY, SEARCH & READ.

I am having a strange problem with my kaiser vodafone, come up with white screen and does not work at all, is just possible have the tricolor screen using switch + camera keys, a this point I have tried to install new ROM, HARD SPL etc. the loading bar come up on screen but nothing happen,
I did plenty of suggestion reading around the forum but nothing is working, look like is a hardware faulty ????
So please if somebody expert on the matter can let me know something to do will be appraciate ...

please post this in the appropriate thread...like for example the HARDSPL thread. For example the one dealing with the white screen issue specifically. Try searching "hard spl white screen"

for starters wrong thread .. secondly problem could have been completely avoided if you did the basic reading i.e. first hardspl .. if white screen than follow thread on white screen fix .. got hardspl? flash rom ... simple as that.
now u need help .. and instead of posting under the right thread you create a new redundant thread asking about a problem that quite a few people run into. in order for us to help we need info from your phone .. what does bootloader say? can u boot to operating system?

sorry but I did not where put my problem, I did try to resolve it reading lots of other thread and I try lots of solution but nothing, anyway thanks for your help and time, so the problem with my kaiser is that it power up with white screen and nothing else happened then I have to take off the battery and put in again then pressing power button and camera I got the tricolor screen

Before you get too upset, have you tried posting in the correct thread? Just like was suggested over a week ago? Have you tried a hard reset? I don't see that anywhere in your steps you took. What about flashing a stock rom?

You download the stock kaiser rom (searching is fun!), then you unrar, and click on the phone like button and follow the instructions. Then again, theres a thread on returning your phone to its original config. More searching fun!

[Q] Question, Serious problem with Manila?!

I have a problem with my HD2. I installed some programs to cheer up my phone, but now I everytime get a failure with manila.exe
It says:
There is a failure with manila.exe
and in the bottom stands the send or not send to windows option.
I already did 2 times a hard reset but it keeps getting back?!
What would you guys advice? Restore the original Manila files? Does someone have?
Hope someone can help me...

I had that problem a few of days ago.
Strange but true it did not happen again.
And the funny thing is ..... it happend 2 times with my phone to.

My daughters has been doing the same thing. Started last night & still doing it. We've soft & hard reset it & even flashed the ROM update & nothing has helped?!?! About to give up on these hd2's =-\ ......

If you have not done this already then please put this in HD2 General.
Maby there are more with this problem.

Try disabling twitter (HTC Peep)...twitter is having issues causing various clients to crash ht tp://status.twitter.com/post/1004400550/a-known-api-issue-is-causing-some-clients-to-crash

Or if you use or try out an Android release, make sure to put off the SD Card which contains the Android files, 'cause I've met several people who had the same issue as you have, and this proceed helped them to solve the problem!
I'm not sure why, but the ported Android builds may modify the Sense and its files, and that's why it crashes every time when you want to use it!
