[Q] Unlock-touch Problem

Hello,
My htc chacha worked almost pefectly within its warranty period. But after that,it started with it's touch screen not responding well. Now it has come to the extend that,the ring that is needed to be pulled up to unlock the screen is also not working. The unlock ring is kind of flickering when attempted to be pulled up. I can't even see the phone main menu! Guys please help me out here.

It is most probably a hardware issue. You need to replace touch screen digitizer. The same thing happened to me. The top half of the screen didn't respond to touch.

Thnx a lot. But do u think unlocking the boot loader will help in any way? And there's an another issue, when I attempt to check for updates online, it says that my phone is up to date, whereas my phone's Android version is 2.3.3 ????

Hey pal,,online update dont change the rom-it updates your software version,,,u have to change your rom to 2.3.5

It don't seem to be a software problem... check your Touch Cable and if your problem also continue, maybe you should change your Touch Screen.

open the set.....applied CTC to the main board and all parts..
dried out everything..
its working gr8 now..
gave a full service

my phone recently fell down and the screen broke down.. i bought this screen from a guy, its original but dont think its new. and fixed it myself.
what happens is the touch works for like 5 seconds and then stops, if i lock screen and unlock again it works like for 5 second n touch gets stuck..
is it because of the screen ? or mayb when it fell something went wrong? so will it help if i try putting up a new rom? please help. thank you.

If u r already using stock firmware then better go to Samsung service center.
If ur on some custom rom then 1st try stock rom & check whether our works or not.
Stock firmware= stock rom.

long ago i had this problem 5,6 times......for first time i freaked out and did many restarts.....i left the device aside for 10 mins,,,after that it is settled,
i donno what's the reason but i got it back..this happened to me several times
STAY CALM..
if its not working...download "BUTTON SAVIER" from play store...

[Q] Touchscreen not working after locking the phone

Hey Guys!
I have a big problem!
2 Weeks ago, the display of my G3 (not rooted, original LG Android) broke and i sent it to repairmyphone.de (I'm from Germany) for repair. Today my G3 came back and the display was fine. So i think they changed the display and repaired my phone.
Sounds good right? Well not exactly, because now there is a problem:
The touchscreen is working fine, but when i lock my phone (With the DoubleKnock or the Button) and turn the display on again, the touchscreen isn't working and i can't unlock the phone.
Only after i pull the battery out and start the phone again, the touchscreen is working fine. But when i lock the phone the same thing happens again. Even when i turn off the lockscreen and turn the display, the touchscreen is not working.
The strange thing is, the KnockOn is recognized so it turns the display on when i double tap it, but nothing is recognized after that.
I did a factory reset but the same problem happens again.
So i don't really know if it's a hardware or software problem is and if any one of you can help me with my problem.
I wrote the repairservice an e-mail but i think it will be read on monday.
So if nothing works i have to send it back again, but maybe you guys have a solution for me.

Try Reflashing Stock Rom !!
If it happens again then try a custom rom.
If it is a software problem then it will surely get solved :good:

I did reflashed the stock rom, but the problem is still there.
I can try it again and i can try a custom ROM! Which should i take?

Okay i flashed to a custom ROM but again, it's not working.
So it's a hardware problem, isn't it? Seems like i have to send it back to the repair service.
But it's so strange, because after a reboot, the touchscreen is working totally fine, just when i lock the phone, it's not working..

Hello, so i had my OnePlus one for a while and just recently i dropped it lucky the screen didn't crack and opens up just fine but the touch stopped working is there a fix for this? And how do i go about it.. I'm currently in Egypt so there isn't really any replacements and anyone who knows much about this device to be able to repair it at a decent price. I would like to fix it on my own, and i honestly hope its just a wire unplugged or something..

hi firstly tell me what trouble shooting have you done and secondly what rom are you on is it stock or custom

I was on a Custom rom i forgot the name but i think it was Tuga its been a while since i last used the phone due to the issue. But the touch screen didn't work in recovery either.

If you're screen stopped working after dropping it, it is most likely damaged. Dropping it will not cause any rom to malfunction and stop touch from working. It may be a loose connection, or if you got the device used from somewhere, the screen may have once been replaced and the replacement may not be as good as the original (which by no means was perfect either).

It happened to me. Open your opo, disconnect and then reconnect the screen.
