Hy...I have a G4 model, Qtek s200, and i was wondering if I will install a wm6 version, and if I will not be satisfied, can i downgrade to wm5 back?
I think so... Even if have CID locked, but i'm not quite sure. Anyone correct me if i'm wrong please!!

Yeah, it's no problem to downgrade! I played yesterday with some different WM5 ROM's (Orange UK, Qtek and O2) on my G4 XDA Neo and had no prpoblems at all time!

Yes, just follow the normal steps to do it. By the way, which WM6 rom you will try?! Looks like the smart1 clear it's good.

first of all: i want to install a wm6 version, but i don't know which one ... I have G4 model..can you give me an advice? also, i want without bugs if i can (that's the first reason that i didn't try yet)... i mean, to connect on wap, to work fine the new wm6...if you know what is the "perfect" version to install on my device, i am waiting your opinion
There is no "perfect" WM6 yet but the SMART1 WM6 Rom (clear) it's quite good... in this thread they talk about it and is litle bugs: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=295225
I tried Smart1's WM6 ROM and successfully downgraded it to WM5 (I-mate) portuguese ROM by just using the normal procedure.
The problem is it doesn't work properly with Windows Vista. Don't try to upgrade to WM6 on Vista as it wont work properly!

Just a question about downgrading - I read somewhere in the forum that it is important NOT to downgrade to a lower IPL or SPL because it will brick the device. is it so?

I liked WM6 but I have to remove it because it is only compatible with ActiveCrap 4.5, which doesn't support outlook 2000 anymore (version used at my office) .

I would like to downgrade to last AKU 3.3 (couldn't backup my wm5 rom since my prophet is CID locked). Can I downgrade to AKU 3.3 safely?

Yes, you can do it safely! My Neo is a G4 too and I switched often between smart1 clear WM6, the official O2 update, ASerg's 3.3.12 US nad the Qtek 2.20 with no problems!

HI I am using I-mate jasjar and upgrade to Wm 6. After that there is no video call option on that. Now I want to downgrade to WM 5. How can I do this? Where can I download WM 5? Please send all the details to my email [email protected].

2. does WM6 drains battery more then WM5? (in percent)
3. tell me about main advantages of WM6?
4. the ActiveSync version working with Treo WM6?
5. in case to flash back to WM5 do i need exactly my previous version or i can do it with any WM5 rom (i have Swisscom Treo)?

1. any kind of Vodafone WM6
2. No
3 too much to tell
4. AS 4.5
5. any WM5 ROM but you won' t go back

I can't be asked to wait anymore for Swisscom to provide an upgrade so gonna take the jump.
Don't wait any longer, Swisscom will not bring any update for the Treo 750 !
Do the update with the latest unbranded firmware and the following instructions.

I'm stuck in my WM6 migration (tried to load sveral roms but always get the TNT splash screen and freeze. see my thread in the same forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446129). I'm about to try to move back to WM5 but I need to get the official I-Mate K-Jam rom. I've found it on the I-Mate site (K-JAM WWE ROM Build 2.16.9.1 2.16.9.101 02.07.10) but i can't download it since I don't have my mobile number. Could you please advice me with alternate way for geting this rom

Hi. Im new and wanna say THANK YOU to all of you for the opportunity. I have an unlocked Treo750 AT&T branded (actually with Tmobile) Windows Mobile 6 Professional CE OS 5.2.1620. I am interested to do the navenedrob 6.5 upgrade. Can I install the ROM directly or I have to do HSPL first?
U need HSPL. Follow navenedrob's tutorial to do it here. I would highly recommend navenedrob's ROM too. I use it on my treo. Don't use his new one yet. It still has some bugs, but his timebomb fix one is excellent.

Well, you could always flash HardSPL then flash your phone to a custom ROM. Most ROMs nowadays have WM 6.5 in 'em.
I don't think there's an official HTC ROM with WM6.5 on it.
