MMS touch pro - Touch Pro, Fuze General

Hi guys I've been trying to get MMS to work on my touch pro. I downloaded and installed QVGA_Arcsoft_MMS5.0.27.25.CAB. The phone installs fine and I can write and attach files as needed.
When I send I get an error.
Warning!: Unable to send your message(s). Your message(s) will remain in the drafts folder.
I think it has something to do with the MMS server options.
My Phone service provider is Telus.
Editorial: My old crappy LG did photo and video messages all snappy like. I'm paying for unlimited pictures and video messages. I want to use it. Yeah I know I could email the documents, and I have. But sometimes phone to phone is the way to go. I think this is a very useful business tool.

Update:
went to server options
added new mms server
Server Name: Telus
Gateway:
Portnumber:8088
Server address: http://mmsfeplb01.int.eng.telusmobility.com:8088/mms
Connect via: TELUS
Send Limit: 300k
WAP Version: 2.0
Now the error changes to:
Unknown Sender address

Update:
tried new server options
Server Name: Telus
Gateway:
Portnumber:80
Server address: http://mms.telusmobility.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: TELUS
Send Limit: 300k
WAP Version: 2.0
Now the error changes to:
OK
weird huh?

Will Arcsoft MMS work with Sprint using Diamond Picturemail server settings?

I have the Sprint Mogul, and was trying to see if i could configure Arcsoft MMS (version 5.0.31.16) to work thru the Sprint server now that the Diamond is released with picturemail capability. I took the advice from here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...0&postcount=58 and set my server address to 68.28.31.1 and my port to 8080 with the gateway blank, and the connect via set as the internet. Now when i try to send an email it goes to 99% sending then i get an error saying "Method Not Allowed", which is different from the usual, "Unable to send your message(s). Your message(s) will remain in the Drafts folder".
The Method Not Allowed error is a server error, and can be caused by the server reading the header of the message and not accepting the information in there. Anyone know how to alter the header of an Arcsoft MMS (prolly a regedit) that could possibly trick the sprint proxy server to accept message.
I also put the ip address 68.28.31.1 in my P.I.E. browser and it opens a pages that says:
"You have reached the Openwave MAG Proxy Server. This server does not serve any web content. Use this server only for routing proxy requests" Anyone know anything about Openwave Mag proxy servers?
I think with the diamond having picturemail it is possible to get Arcsoft MMS to send, its just a matter of having the correct settings to make the proxy server accept the message.
This is just a suggestion, i have tried a few things but i am not an expert in any of these fields i am just going off trial and error, which is ending more in error right now, maybe someone else can take what i have here and be able to fully implement this idea.
Well...
I would love nothing more than to do the same with my Sprint Mogul seems though nobody is too interested in working on this, too bad...
This thread will be moved to the Q&A section.
Next, please post these queries over there.
thanks

K9 Email - anyone feel like helping me troubleshoot?

I am having difficulty setting up K9 email for my corporate email account. It is a Microsoft Exchange (and I believe 2003).
I keep getting an error:
Cannot connect to server. (Error with code 404 during request processing: HTTP/1.1 404 Resource Not Found)
I can use Touchdown and normal Android Email to sync just fine. I use K9 for my Pop email account, and I like it better (not to mention Touchdown requires you to use their calendar app and widget).
I can even log onto my Exchange account through the web, by using https://mail.serverXXX.com and my login ID and password.
Here is my basic setup:
USERNAME: mellojoe1234
password: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
WebDAV (Exchange) server: mail.serverXXX.com
Security type: SSL (if available)
Port: 443 (prefilled)
WebDAV (Exchange) path, authentication path, Mailbox path all left blank.
When I log into the webmail account I use:
https://mail.serverXXX.com, which gives me a pop up login box.
USERNAME: mellojoe1234
password: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
The resulting website is https://mail.serverXXX.com/exchange
What am I doing wrong? Am I missing some info that I would need to get from the IT department?
any K9 experts lurking?
There are a few different instructions here:
http://code.google.com/p/k9mail/wiki/K9MailAndExchange
But even with this I still can't get it working and I've tried lots of different combinations.
The stock app links to Exchange to easily its a shame k9 doesn't as its a much better email app.

[Q] problem sending and receiving MMS with HD2 tytung nexusHD2 rom

Hi, I've got an HD2 under tytung nexusHD2 gingerbread 3.2 rom, but the problem hasn't been solved since i first flashed it with the 2.9 version:
I configure correctly my "mobilis MMS" APN, but if I enter "MMS" as apn type it doesn't find mms service on my carrier, if i let it blank I can send mms but in both case I can't receive them.
Does anyone knows what could be the problem? I saw in /system "buil.prop" that dns are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 is it possible that dns are not matching those of my carrier (0.0.0.0)? is there a solution by editing this file or the mms_config compiled in the mms.apk?
I'm in new caledonia so i think nobody else should have this problem... need tytung help XD
thanks in advance
Edit: I'have install the tweaked mms.apk and changed the user agent from "androidXX" (i don't remember the exact name) to "default android" and now I receive one MMS for ten sent.
edit2: My carrier apn settings for MMS:
Nom : mms opt
APN : mms
proxy :
Port :
Nom d'utilisateur : mms
mot de passe : mms123
serveur :
MMSC : http :// mms .mobitag. nc /mmsc
proxy mms: 192.168.039.201
Port MMS : 3130
Protocole MMS : WAP 2.0
MCC : 546
MNC : 01
Type d'authentification : PAP ou CHAP
Type d'APN : mms (at this point if I enter "MMS" it will neither send nor receive MMS, but if left it blank I can send and sometime receive)

[Q] Modify Softbank Mail client for iPhone APN

Hi,
I currently have a SIM free Samsung Galaxy S2 and I'm using the Softbank network in Japan with a black SIM card. Now I have everything working in terms of able to connect to the internet and also send MMS using a modified stock MMS client that allows the User Agent String to be specified as an iPhone.
My problem is that there is a lack of a "Reply to All" function in this MMS client. Since lots of people I know use an iPhone, they often have group messages. Now the only MMS client I see that has a "Reply to All" function is the Softbank Mail client
(I can't post links, but if you search for Softbank on the Android store, it should come up)
However, installing this and trying to send an MMS doesn't work. It gives a connection failure. I assume it's something to do with the User Agent String or it has hardcoded the non-iPhone APN settings in.
Has anyone any knowledge on how to modify this to work with the black SIM on Softbank?
Thanks for any help.

[Q] Trouble with setting up IMAP - error code

I am new here, and im sorry if i should not post this here, if this is a dumb question or whatnot, but i came here for help and hopefully this is what i will receive.
Now, im currently a student @ York University in Canada. They have an email service, which can be installed with IMAP. I was on the last step when it gave me an error code.
"Can't safely connect to server.

I am using a rooted HTC Sensation 4G with Virtuous Quattro A3

You may also have to enter the following:

Click to collapse
Thanks... but the problem is still there. It's entered correctly, otherwise it would tell me "Could not connect to server" because the info was wrong...
So still not solved
Anyone with an answer ?
