[Q] problem sending and receiving MMS with HD2 tytung nexusHD2 rom - General Questions and Answers

Hi, I've got an HD2 under tytung nexusHD2 gingerbread 3.2 rom, but the problem hasn't been solved since i first flashed it with the 2.9 version:
I configure correctly my "mobilis MMS" APN, but if I enter "MMS" as apn type it doesn't find mms service on my carrier, if i let it blank I can send mms but in both case I can't receive them.
Does anyone knows what could be the problem? I saw in /system "buil.prop" that dns are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 is it possible that dns are not matching those of my carrier (0.0.0.0)? is there a solution by editing this file or the mms_config compiled in the mms.apk?
I'm in new caledonia so i think nobody else should have this problem... need tytung help XD
thanks in advance
Edit: I'have install the tweaked mms.apk and changed the user agent from "androidXX" (i don't remember the exact name) to "default android" and now I receive one MMS for ten sent.
edit2: My carrier apn settings for MMS:
Nom : mms opt
APN : mms
proxy :
Port :
Nom d'utilisateur : mms
mot de passe : mms123
serveur :
MMSC : http :// mms .mobitag. nc /mmsc
proxy mms: 192.168.039.201
Port MMS : 3130
Protocole MMS : WAP 2.0
MCC : 546
MNC : 01
Type d'authentification : PAP ou CHAP
Type d'APN : mms (at this point if I enter "MMS" it will neither send nor receive MMS, but if left it blank I can send and sometime receive)

MMS touch pro

Hi guys I've been trying to get MMS to work on my touch pro. I downloaded and installed QVGA_Arcsoft_MMS5.0.27.25.CAB. The phone installs fine and I can write and attach files as needed.
When I send I get an error.
Warning!: Unable to send your message(s). Your message(s) will remain in the drafts folder.
I think it has something to do with the MMS server options.
My Phone service provider is Telus.
Editorial: My old crappy LG did photo and video messages all snappy like. I'm paying for unlimited pictures and video messages. I want to use it. Yeah I know I could email the documents, and I have. But sometimes phone to phone is the way to go. I think this is a very useful business tool.
Update:
went to server options
added new mms server
Server Name: Telus
Gateway:
Portnumber:8088
Server address: http://mmsfeplb01.int.eng.telusmobility.com:8088/mms
Connect via: TELUS
Send Limit: 300k
WAP Version: 2.0
Now the error changes to:
Unknown Sender address
Update:
tried new server options
Server Name: Telus
Gateway:
Portnumber:80
Server address: http://mms.telusmobility.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: TELUS
Send Limit: 300k
WAP Version: 2.0
Now the error changes to:
OK
weird huh?

Where is the WAP setting?

Ok, I just call my customer service and ***** about how expensive they are... They offer me a better plan for cheaper which include Internet WAP (not data plan).
If I go data it will be very expensive. So My question is, what's the different between WAP and data? and how do I do the setup for WAP on my phone?
I'm with Fido (anyone know about this?)... is this the code?

[email protected]
(fido.ca)

APN: wap.fido.ca
IP Address:
205.151.011.011
WAP home page:
http://wap.fido.ca
User name: fido
password: fido
General internet settings
APN: internet.fido.ca
user name: fido
password: fido
Domain name system
(DNS)
primary: 204.92.15.211
secondary: 204.92.15.212
I kinda need this guy, please help me out.
I have to test to see if I can actually use WAP internet to update weather or not... before I signed a contract with my provider.

3CXPhone, default settings with your provider of course.
I use CallCentric
I tried:
Username: +351302XXXXXX
Password: XXXXXXX
Internal Server:
External Server:
STUN Server: voip.sapo.pt
Advanced->Proxy: proxy.voip.sapo.pt (i tried too: proxy.voip.sapo.pt:5070)
And it doesnt work.
With CSIPSimple i use:
Code:
Account ID
+351302XXXXXX <sip:[email protected]:5060>
Registration URI
sip:proxy.voip.sapo.pt:5070
Realm
voip.sapo.pt
Username
+351302XXXXXX
Password
XXXXXXXX
Publish Enabled
Proxy URI:
sip:proxy.voip.sapo.pt:5070
The proxy port is different from the server port.
They have sent a new version in http://code.google.com/p/csipsimple/downloads/list
This version is more stable and works great for now

[Q] Can anyone help me with MMS?

Hello!
Can anyone help me out?
Everything seems flawless on my OPO except...
I cannot send MMS messages!
I keep getting "Message not sent. Touch to retry."
I'm currently on AT&T and on my previous phone, which was an old Samsung Captivate, I was able to send MMS messages no problem. If anyone knows anything, please feel free to share.

Replace the [dot] with .
Delete the spaces too.
Problem solved!

Thanks alot! I am using Hangouts although it's very similar to where I can edit the APN to the settings you have listed.
Problem has been fixed.
