But I need to figure out how to get it to work. It fit perfectly and I made sure the little connectors were touching the placement connections. If someone could please figure out some kind of driver or software or registry tweak I can do to make this motor run I would very thankful!
=)
I had already my telephone was in such a way worked on, vibration indicated. a driver is not necessary therefore
(babelfish-english)
hey guys where did you purchase the motor?
i searched ebay, and a whole lot of other online shops, and i can't find anyone selling it
do you have link?
thanks
no I had one just laying around and I took the motor out of that.
I still can't get it to work though =(
Try to use VGA HTC Home plugin

It has possibility to change few options for ringer ( with vibrating) maybe it will help
Someone put a vibrating motor in a 7501 last year and couldn't get it to work. There were theories, but I can't find the thread now.
Is there an update on this thread? Did the vibro motor ever work? I would really like a vibrate option on my Flint because it is my main phone.

It could have been me! I put the motor in my X7500 but never got it to work. HOWEVER! when I tried AP 5.0 beta on my athena it did buzz when swapping over to vibrate but never worked in a call. so it shows that it is possible to get it going and power can get to it. AP 5.0 was never finished and of course WONT work on a X7510.

Jay
Found the links HERE and HERE
Yeah I never got the motor to work so it's just hanging in there haha
Come on, I thought you guys would have figured this out by now.
I love phones and I love messing around with all my 3 that I have
But I'm not so good at figuring out stuff like this haha
So if there's anyone out there willing to take the challenge
and ground out some numbers and equations and **** let me know
who knows I may even have a cash prize for anyone who can figure it out

Hey guys,
Hold your phones tight, hold your hands over the mic...! Next time someone calls you and you decide to let it ring, they might hear what's going on!
Tested and warranted. My girlfriend called me 3 days ago. Right before the phone rings, she can hear for about 5 seconds what is going on around thw phone. Thank god I'm the faithful and non-hypocrite type, or else there would be some major reaveals!
My phone is an 8125 with TNT.19199. Wierd thing! I even tested it and I can hear what's going on around the phone for those split seconds!
Anyone else has had this happening to them too? Do tell how this may come to be...

I've never heard of such a thing. Maybe a bad flash. Try hard resetting or flash a different ROM.

Can you explain in more detail?
Eg the beep-beep (calling sound) is still heard from the caller while the phone is ringing?
If the caller can hear things before the phone starts ringing maybe the phone is set at auto-answer (by bug/mistake).
At another of my posts I said that with bluetooth I answered the phone & while I was talking the phone kept ringing.
The difference with your post is that I answered the phone and it kept ringing and you didn't answer the phone and it acted like you had...
I have the same ROM TNT v2 and you got me a bit worried...
Hi All, I've down a fair bit of web searching but haven't found a reason as to why this would be happening. So here goes:
Basically, I bought the Asus P525 when it was about 9 months old, and after about 4 months it decided to flash this up on my screen - Invalid or Missing Sim Card. It seemed to fix itself, however, and I had another week of using it. Then, it did it again, and fixed itself again shortly after, but it wasn't long before it was dong it so often that the phone became unusable. It would flash that up, and usually stay that way, it would become a rarer thing for it to fix itself. So, back to my crappy old nokia with half working buttons I went, telling myself I should ring an Asus repair center and talk to them about it. Anyway, a couple of months later I got around to ringing them, they told me they'd probably have to replace the mainboard, and it could cost me more to do that than to get a replacement phone. Not very impressed as I was, I decided to boot the phone back up, and amazingly it worked again, and gave me another week of usage before packing it in. Now it's stopped working, so I tried different roms and different firmware, to see if that would fix it... nope.
So here I am. Anybody experienced this? Any idea what I can do? I don't have heaps of bucks to throw around on phones, I really like this phone except for this obvious problem, so would like to keep using it. But I don't think the future looks bright for it
Any help is extremely appreciated.
Thanks
Matt
Seems I've asked the impossible...? Anybody have any ideas? I'm going out of my brain trying to work this one out...
Matt
It seems noone in this part of the forum likes to answer questions I'm afraid.
As to your problem, it's likely a hardware fault and theres a loose connection betweeb SIM and phone somewhere.
You could try cleaning the contacts with an electrical contact cleaner solution sprayed on a cotton bud and wipe the pins that sit on the SIM.
Maybe you could also try using a needle underneath the pins and gently pull them up so that they make better contact with the SIM (maybe some are bent).
Bear in mind, I have no experience with this device and the sensible option would be to take it to a repair shop for service.
Hope that helps.
yeah I know what you mean
Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried to bend the pins up but that didn't work. I haven't tried cleaning the contacts... sadly though I think that may not be the issue. I'll definitely give that a go, I'll try just about anything, because obviously if I can't get it to work it will just sit in my girlfriend's car so she can use the maps and camera on it. Seems such a sad waste really...
thanks again for your help
Matt
I just powered it up, and it's working again. God knows for how long though... could it be a battery or cpu issue?
Has anyone else noticed, or had anyone tell them, that the background noise is extremely loud and distracting, when you are talking to them on your Raph?
Apparently my microphone/receiver is picking up everything and people are hearing even the slightest sounds.
I called my wife from the car with the music very low, and she said it sounded like I was at a concert. A buddy called me and with no music on in the car, he kept asking if I was driving with the window down, or standing in the middle of traffic... And then when I went into a Panera Bread, with only a few people talking around me, he had to let me go because he couldn't hear me over all the extra noise.
I was not on speaker phone.
Is there anyway to dial down the microphone/receiver, like you can on a computer?
I did search through the forums, but was unable to find anything.
Thanks for the help.
There is in the settings area a item for hearing aid and non hearing aid mode. Try to set it either way and see if it helps?
I'm having the same problem too - is there a registry setting for this? HKLM\Software\HTC\Audiogain is no longer there...
Chiming in with this...have had several people tell me it sounds like I'm on speaker or like someone else said above, driving with the windows down.
I've had this issue as well. I can't remember if I had this issue before I started using cooked ROMs.
What ROM is everyone using?
I'm on PROven 1.08, but I've noticed this with earlier versions of PROven as well.
J.
Yep - just wanted to add that I'm having this problem too.
Almost every call I've made without a headset- someone has asked what was going on in the background.
Currently running Elite ROM
I mean, I know the mic is on the very bottom of the phone, but what's the deal?
Hello, guys.
i had this problem twice: just after i buy my Raphael and afer i take it to my service-center. There serious men just make hard reset and that's all!
the issue hide as i take my pda in hands.
but in several days it started again... i didn't know what to thing - cause i was very sad about this ****en problem.
nevertheless also after few days this problem hide away and never goe to my pda again.
I did'n do anything with my ROM (RUS 1.90.411.3, Radio:1.02.25.19)
...and it's very interesting.
if anybody has the answer to the question: "Why does it happen?" i'd be very glad to hear about this one.
sorry for my english)
hear myself
I have a simmilar backround noise problem, but for what ever reason the speaker kicks out what the mic picks up, so I end up hearing my self more than any one that calls unless it is dead silent in the room, then I can hear the caller as long as I am not talking.
any tips on how to stop hearing myself?
same here im using ROMeOS conFUZEd edition...
Just to add that the problem happens for me with the PROven 1.08 and LantisOS RC 1 ROMs.
I've modified AudioPara3.csv and turned the gain and tx volume way down. It seems to be ok for me, but I haven't done extensive testing yet. Please backup your copy before overwriting it. Copy to your \Windows directory using Total Commander. Let me know what you guys think.
Yeah a lot of people said they can hear everything when I talk to them. Both on my Raphael and my old Hermes. Its just the mics that HTC uses are really good. Maybe not good for phone usage but really good quality and can pick up all sounds.
I ended up getting a Bluetooth with Noise Reduction, everyone is much happier now.
Same here
I've been going crazy looking for a solution for this problem, I was in a restaurant the other day with very soft music and I got a call and the person on the other end said that it was SO loud she thought I was in a night club (I wish I was but I wasn't).
I'm gonna try the AudioPara3 and see what happens.
If anyone has found the perfect solution to this, please post it. Thanks.
Backgrounds too loud
Just installed and the problem seems to be corrected, will try a couple more days.....
I have this problem and have tried a couple of the posted audiopara files - no such luck with this issue?
Any progress on dialing in this microphone setting?
thanks!

Silly question, but did you reboot your phone after you copied the file?
Yup. I occasionally get people telling me I sound like I'm in the middle of the sea with waves and stuff. When I end the call then redial, the problem is usually gone. Happens maybe once a week. I'm a fairly heavy user - the phone that is. Well not just the phone. Erm, can we not go there thank you?
Raph Elite Project RC3. When I've tried audiopara, I lose almost all volume from the speaker so I uninstalled and hard resetted.
Hello everybody
Tried searching the forums for something that will auto lock my HD2 when I turned it UPSIDE DOWN(not face down)and put it in my pocket.I saw someone mention using such a feature in a post somewhere but couldn't find it again.
Then found Gsen and Gyrator but they both look like kinda old and I'm afraid they'll mess up my phone so I prefer to avoid em,unless you can correct me on this.
Help anyone?
Auto lock!!!
+1 on this. I would appreciate this too.
yes, that would be so nice, useful tool !
bouncy bouncy...nobody knows?help?
Haven't really seen this around, but I think it'd be kinda hard to make since so many factors that would contribute to you putting your phone in your pocket would make it lock in moments you might not want it to. Gsensor would be a good one, but also proximity sensor would be another good way for it to know when it's in your pocket.
Trying gsensor!
I want the thing to lock my phone whenever I put it upside down and since upside down doesnt come unless I put it in my pocket(And I did see a post bout it I did!) it seems a good choice.I'll try the proximity approach too.
Thanx!
this is the only app I am aware of : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624206, drove me mad though only used for a day
Well then, after trying all the mentioned software above I'm willing to settle for something that will allow me to turn off my screen manually without disconnecting the call, thus allowing me to call people using my bluetooth headset without having to walk with phone in hand like an idiot.
I go much cheaper this time!Help?
I think this works with "touchlockpro" !!
PocketShield can do this. You can even set if its set to the proximity of cloth or a pouch-lid to the phone or if its just put upside down into a pocket.
Just quickly google it or search this forum!
Whats up everyone. Ive checked threads with no luck...
I have been having bluetooth issues since day one thinking an ota would fix it. I believe at this point its a hardware issue, but im curious if someone has had the same issue and found a fix. OnePlus customer service is being stubborn. They want a damn movie of me explaining the issue.
I can pair devices fine. However, when I put my phone in my pocket, let's say, it begins to chop up the audio. Even in my car, if i hover my hand over the phone it chops up the audio. It works fine if I'm holding it it my hands watching a movie or something.
Is there a bluetooth.img/Driver someone could provide that I can flash. Probably wont help but im tryna rule everything out.
Thanks!!
