and it made me think twice before buying a bluetooth headset.
I still bought one, but i coundnt find any options in the settings where i can change my headset PIN.
I know that not everyone knows how to hack and there is one chance out of a million that someone will hack MY bluetooth, but still, i'de better be prepared IN CASE that happends.
I'de done some research on google, yahoo, 37.com, and other search engines, but so far, havent come up with anything.....yet.
Maybe its some enclosed info that company and gouverment doesnt want us to know or whatever, but i'm pretty sure the info is somewhere out there, and that its possible to hack.
anyone has any suggestions or comments on that matter? i'm getting out of options

im looking for the files, or maybe even a .cab installer of the htc sliding sounds application. ive searched around on here for hours, and all i can find is the program by teirmann(sp).
That would be cool for the WM6.1 slider as well.
i just want to get the offical htc sliding sounds to test out stuff with. if anyone can get a dump of those from a rom or w/e, that would be great.

You can find a couple sliding sound cab's there. I created two one is a shotgun pump and the other is a golf theme i created for someone.
So head over there, make your request and if i can find the right wav's i'll create it for you. or go to the wiki page i created and see if u can follow it.
yep, problem is tho, i dont have a kaiser. ive got a hermes. i wanna just test out the HTC software from the kaiser for my own curiosity.
hmm dont know if there is a software for it, just some registry files.
folow that wiki page and try to create them and see if it'd work for u.. i'd try it for u but to be honest.. i have no clue where my hermes is.
ive tried the registry thing, im pretty sure it also involves a control panel applet as well... i guess thats what i want/need then.

you can rip it off one of the kaiser roms. should be "keyboard sliding sound.cpl"
i think u need to look for the trigger that tells the device to activate a sound once the screen orientation is changed.
awesome, any idea how i can rip the cpl file from one of the roms???? i have brief access to a Kaiser(friend at work), so if its something that i could get from the phone while its in operation??? or any tips on how i could rip it out of the rom?? btw, i know nothing about cooking rooms or anything.

yep, have u bothered reading the thread at all??? first post i said i dont really like that one. i just want to experiment and try to get the one from the kaiser rom.
Hey, if you're still looking for the Slide Sound cab file PM me and I'll send it to you. It is the Native HTC Slide Sound app that came on the Mogul but it works on the Touch Pro.

I used Audacity(at first) because I can trim any song in my existing library and still change the pitch and bitrate to make it louder. I hardly use custom ringtones now, but I tried the MP3 Trimmer .cab and that worked great.
ok i actually found a decent program to use but now my problem is that the volume that comes out of the phone is so low you can barely even hear it. any suggestions as to how to fix that?
Though I didn't make them from scratch, I "embraced and extended" some existing tones. Check the notifications section on my site which is in my sig.
first off, i did search, couldn't find anything. 2nd, i know CM has a new version but i'm waiting to update until i can get some answers about this.
All the notification sounds and alarms work fine, But any individual ringtone i give to anyone in the contacts dosn't work. It always plays the default ringtone.
So anyone else have this happen, and how'ed you fix it. pretty big deal for me because i use custom ringtones for a lot of people for many reasons.

I really hope you guys can help me. I've searched all over the internet for a solution but I can't seem to find one. I downloaded a few Lupe Fiasco songs from this music download app. Afterwards, when I decided to listen to them, I noticed that the "L" in Lupe, and the "F" in Fiasco were lower case .. so I tried to go into iTag, but nothing. So I deleted the songs and downloaded them elsewhere and had the SAME problem! If I were to put Lupe Fiasco with two o's at the end .. I won't get the problem at all, but when I spell it the regular way again, the letters are back to lowercase. Can someone please help me out here, because this is bothering the heck outta me!
Would I have to clean out some kinda music cache or something?
