Hi all. I have a 750v from vodafone and I decided to unlock it, in order to use it with another provider. I downloaded the magic unlock and I used it. It worked well because now I have my terminal unlocked, but it cannot connect to any network (it accepts any sim, but it doesnt connect to any network). So I tried to use olipro hardspl, because I thought it was a radio problem but I didnt success:
1) I can make the first step and the loader flashes phone well.
2) I can press on second step and the flash process runs well, but when it says "sync the phone, look at the program, install it and then press ok" I cannot see any installation process on my treo. So I press ok on my pc, but I receive an error: "unhandled exception has occurred.....click continue o quit blabla". (Ihave net 2.0 installed also with service pack).
3) I cannot reach step 3.
So my question is: did someone have the same problem? Do you know how can I solve it? Maybe I can flash another radio? If yes where can I get it?
Thank you.
pls guys help , I really need help

Hi All,
Out of the blue my HTC Vox stopped booting. I mean, it would load to the windows mobile screen and then stay there till eternity. Removing my memory card and SIM also did not help! I then tried the hard reset option.
Even after hard reset it sometimes boots(1 out of 15 times) and when it does...it hangs after 10 to 12 minutes. Still have not put my sim n memory card into the phone.
I tries flashing the ROM using the ARA 1.27 ROM. After it rebooted to the bootloader, the flash utility gave a connection error! It did not connect to ActiveSync and stayed at the bootloader screen.
I still do not know how to flash it successfully.
If anybody can help me out, I'll be extremely grateful!
Thanks
Prateek
take the battery out, put it back.
connect your Vox (USB).
Hold the camera button and turn on your Vox.
you should see a red, blue and green screen (if my memory works as it should) and the computer should recognize the device, though you won't be able to explore it with activesync.
Run the SDA_ApplicationUnlock thingy (if you need to)
now try flashing the device.
If it flashes but after 3% restart, you need to do a CID unlock right before flashing.
hope that helps.
Invalid Vendor ID
Hi MoRkusReX,
Its giving me Invalid Vendor ID. How do I CID unlock it?
Thanks,

first post , download the last file:
Vox USPL- CID BYPASS.zip
There a Readme file in there, you should read it.
post back where you're done.
No Luck!
Hi MoRkusReX,
Since my phone is not booting into the OS thus I cannot use the UPSL_CID provided in the link.
Only once I have been able to boot into my OS and followed the instructions given in the link. The phone comes to the Linux black screen and then switchers off. Then the ROM Update Utility with which i'm trying to update the ROM gives an error that "cannot connect to the phone".
So, now I need to flash my ROM from the bootloader itself. Have managed to get mtty and connect to the phone. But even trying ResetDevice command, the phone does not boot.
Can you tell me the exact steps to flash a new ROM from the bootloader itself including CID unlocking? Can it be done??
Thanks,
Prateek

yes it can be done.
you don't need to boot to OS, I couldn't either. after the steps from my first post here, run the uspl_116_jockyw.bat file. follow instructions.
that will unlock the CID.
Now the VOXs' screen should be white or so... then you run the ROM update thingy.
Hi..
I connected with the usb and got the bootloader screen.
tried running the SDA unlock program...the button to unlock the phone is grayed out. Cant click on it.
Next tried running uspl_116_jockyw.bat file
..cannot connect to phone and hence copy of haret.exe did not occur and neither did pmemtest run successfully...
What am I doing wrong??
ok..
first steps again..
battery out, back in.
connect USB
CAMERA button + Turn on.
now.. does windows do that USB sound? you know.. "tu du" ?
No sound....using win 2k Nt server edition...
but has detected my phone once on that USB and then allows me to talk to the phone using mtty....as in commands like ResetDevice work on the phone using mtty..
also, cannot get into bootlaoder mode with USB plugged in...
Steps and their results:
Disabled USB connections in activesync
Booted to the bootloader (red and green and Blue screen)
Connected the USB
"USB" displays on the left hand side corner
Now tried unlocking using Apllication unlock...grayed out button...
Tried running USPL bat but stops and says phone not connected when copying haret.exe
Using windows NT server 2003
if the SDA Application unlock button is grayed, of course the USPL won't work.
why "Disabled USB connections in activesync"?
And.. I doubt this is the problem but you should check on an winXP pc, I did it on XP.
No Luck!
Tried the same with USB enabled...same result
basically the thing we need to figure out is why your computer doesn't recognize the device.
the rest is obvious.
when I go to bootloader on my device windows pops up with a message says windows found device "and it's ready to use". like when you cannot every other USB item.
have you tried doing that on an XP system?
Going to do that now....lets hope it works....
Does ur activesync turn green when u connect at bootloader?
Also, I have removed my sim and memory card...thats okay right?
yeah, I removed both of them.
and no, activesync didn't turn green, but Windows recognized the device when I turned it on. turn on the speakers and wait for that winxp "USB connected" sound.
Still No Luck!
Tried doing the same on win xp...
no luck...
it connects to win xp ans says new device found...and ur USB device is now
ready to use...
after that i try application unlock it still gives me grayed out button....
ne suggestions???
Finally....
Finally got it done...
Thanks for all the help....
I managed to cold boot into the system for one time ans then SDA unlocked it and then ran UPSL .... it ran and then balnked out...
then i disconnected the usb before the ROM update utility and unchecked the USB option in active sync...
then i flashed it with the ARA rom...
Seems to be working okay now..will test for a day and see...
thanks a lot

I'm not sure this step was necessary but as long as it worked.. good times.
btw, how did you boot into the system?
kept trying hard reset and repeated booting...( it was booting 1 in 15 times type...)..and one lucky time it didnt hang..so used that window to slip in the SDA unlock and USPL..
thanks ...
you're welcome.
i am doing exactly what everyone says, tried most of the stuff on here and else where!!
using the cheetah unlocker this is what happens
-Establish a WMDC(Vista) or Activeysnc connection(XP)
-Confirm this!
-Start the unlocker program on your PC.
-Click "Flash SPL" (Step 1)
-Click "Yes"
-On the Treo you are prompted to allow the install of itsutils.dll and jumpspl.exe. Say YES to both.
*****The Treo will reboot. Don't click anything on the PC until the treo is back up and a WMDC/AS connection is re-established
it doesnt prompt me to install itsutils.dll and jumpspl.exe.
so i go through the steps and when its done its still locked
it works with out a sim card, but when i put my t-mobile sim i get you have tried 15 times and you have to wait for timout or something like that
can anyone help me??
i tried some other stuff like JumpSPL but its asking for address and i dont know what is the right one
bottom line its not my phone, its my friend and i am afraid i am gonna brick it!!
bump, anyone??
Hello. I just got an HTC Touch Pro, and I want to upgrade the ROM, but when I try to upgrade to Hard SSP I lose the connection to my PC, and the device hangs and has to be reset. I tried copying SSPL-Manual.exe to my device and running it from there, but it also crashes the device. What can I do to fix this?
Thanks for any help.

did you follow these instructions exactly:
from hardspl thread by rapheal elite team:
1) download Hard-SPL package from attachment, extract to an empty folder. make sure it's launched from a local drive (not through network drive, etc.)
2) you must Have Phone Synced with PC in Windows Mobile!
3) run RaphaelHardSPL-Unsigned_190_1_3.exe,
4) follow steps in the RUU, check device for prompts after PC shows loading bar.
5) it should go to black screen now.
6) SPL flashes, device automatically reboots, job done.
7) to confirm you got it installed, go into bootloader mode (tricolour screen!) and verify the screen shows 1.90.OliNex.

Thanks for the help, but I followed the instructions exactly and it still hung and gave me "Error [260] connection". Windows Mobile Device Center closed and I had to reset my phone. I've also tried copying the SSPLManual.exe file to my phone and running it from there, and it also hung. I did a hard reset, but that didn't help. Any other suggestions?
Has anybody come up with a solution for this? I see on other forums that other people are having the same problem. I'd really appreciate some help. Thanks!

after your screen goes to the boot launcher you have to go to unplug and uncheck allow usb connections in activesync (and then replug of course) The installation should then continue
I haven't read up on your particular device but that is pretty standard for hard spl (the unplug-replug)
Thanks, but my screen never gets to the boot launcher--it hangs at the Today screen with the little "please wait" wheel, which stops turning.
see if this helps:

Hey i had the same problem, the circle thing would spins and stop and hangs.
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503
this file did it for me hope it works for you, gl and happy flashing.
if you have Sprint, Telus or Alltel or Bell, flash default package (Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip).
Thanks! I'll give it a try and report back.
Dear all:
Been an avid XDA reader, I decided it was time for me to test one of these wonderful ROMs. I finally settled with the ROSE.
Then I started looking for the instructions on how to do this. I am following THESE, and then THESE instructions.
Instructions are pretty clear, but I run into a bit of an issue when following them.
Let me describe what I do:
1. Hard resetted the phone (I undestarnd is better to perform this with factory settings), verified I have 100% battery.
2. With the AS enabled, ran SDA_ApplicationUnLock.exe - Got confirmation
3. Ran uspl_116_jockyw.bat - Everything goes as expected (follow the on screen steps, got the Tux on the screen, screen goes off with backlight on, no leds, and the phone gets disconnected from the PC)
At this point, I am supossed to be able to run the FLASH.EXE app, but my phone does something strange: I can hear a USB device being connected to my PC (from the Windows sound), but AS does not connect to the device (it stays gray and says "Not Connected"), therefore, I am unable to follow the flash procedure.
If I unplug my phone and restart it (by removing the battery), the phone boots properly.
I have been searching this behaviour on the forum without success. Maybe someone has seen this and is able to provide any assistance.
Please leave comments or questions. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Thanks! That did the trick. Unfortunately, I am getting the known Error at 3%. I see at the bottom of the instructions that you might get it, and that "Instructions are below". I have been trying to find some info on the forums, but I got a little confused. Do I need a software to flash the SPL?
Thanks hhs6789 and deuse for taking the time to answer!

Hello
I´ve a phone that as a locked version of wm5.
I cannot connect it with active sync. It´s somehow disabled.
I tried to flash it through bootloader but I can´t.
I´ve disabled usb in active sync, and RUU gives me no connection error.
I can ear the sound in windows that a device was connected but can´t access the device.
I´ve read some posts and followed the instructions but still no success.
Any ideas??
I really liked to flash this device. It´s somewhat of a challenge.
thanx in advance
Any 1???
Ok
I manage some further steps but still no way to hardSPL the device.
What I did was:
1- Hard reset
2- finally managed to connect with active sync
3- I then runned ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe
4- followed the intructions
5- the PDA reboots to bootloader (and doesn´t connect with active sync)
6- in the PDA it appears usb (in left down corner) and RUU (in rigth up corner)
After that the progress bar doesn´t move and conection is lost (error 302)
After that at least I don´t have to recover
Can some1 help me??

1. are you sure that yours a G4?
2. you should read my post here... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=353547
3. hope you that not yet screw up with G3 and G4.... or else your Prophet doomed... ( need to bring to factory... )
4. not 100% of device my HardSPL successful (like mmine ),
5. if so, just flash roms with my lazytool.. ,
ok ......
6. you should Flash NVID now, (must force bootloader with buttons pressed)
7. then activesync to PC (never disable the USB connection please ),
8. flash hardspl then (even not sucessful for 2 times...)
8. flash roms with lazytool
9. Good Luck
Still no luck
Thanx for your quick reply Dio
Anyway I still have no luck flashing NVID.
My device is a really G4.
I force bootloader, but then RUU loses connection and i can´t figure why.
I really follow all the instructions.
Already tried several times but no luck.
Another question:
is there any problem formating extended Rom.
It could solve some of my problems because it installs some CAB wich locks some of the device functions...
Thanks
