Hi, i am new here, i have got a ATT tilt. i have just unlocked it. and i have a few questions about the phone.
1. can i get the HTC(touch) interface instead of the stock one.
2. How to activate the GPS? (do i need to unlock it)
3. What do i need to do if i wanna watch youtube in my phone?

Since this is your first post I will point you in the right direction.
First see the fist link in my signature. This will teach you the in's and out's of posting.
1. I think what you mean is the cube if I not mistaken. You can get the touch interface (cube)by downloading this. Poorly Duck's Cubes
2. GPS is already activated. I would suggest downloading Google Maps or Live Search for the mobile. You should be able to find both of these by searching google. Google Maps & Windows Live Search Mobile
3. To watch youtube. Download first this app. TCPMP .72
Then download this one. FlashVideoBundle
Click on Video Sites from Start > Programs and you should be able to select either YouTube...Google Video what have you.
Next time you want to find something you are looking for I would do this.
Use Google Advanced search by clicking on this link.Google Advanced Search and then put XDA in front of anything you are looking for.
well, i guess this being like the 100th new stupid question thread this week goes to prove that consolidating the threads did not fix the laziness/ignorance of new members...
vBullentin has a module that makes member's read preselected threads before being able to read any other thread and post. I hope the admin takes it into consideration. It well surely save all this clutter.

It seems the version of Flash 10.1 on the leaked 2.2 ROM is an older version than what's on the Market but the Market doesn't show Flash. Can someone please post the APK for the current Flash 10.1 that's on the Android Market?

UPDATE: Never mind, i checked the version - 10.1.72.7 and it appears that's the same as beta 3 (latest)

Are you serious? This site issues 3 day suspensions for someone accidentily posting a question in the wrong area LOL, you have got to be kidding me. Get off your high horse and just tell me people and if you want them to post in different areas. I can see the need to keep the threads clean and most will adhere to what is needed, but honestly threats are uncalled for unless it is consistently the same person doing it!
Just my opinion and i know you could prob care less and if you want ban me thats cool, there 1000's of site i can get this info off of.

Can we get this thread back on track. Personally, i both agree and disagree with issueing 3 day bans, but its not the point. I hate questions that belong in general and are posted in the dev section, but tjat is not the point.

i am modifying PRLs for my area since my SID isnt on the tables...just please someone post it... its been over 30 excruciating minutes of google/ppcgeeks/xda...\

update....::::: a bit swamped all of a sudden but i did tweak out a few lines for SID 4151 (miami)... i havent tested it yet but if anyone wants it here it is... i did mod a few other SIDs (to a negative effect) so i wouldnt recommend this for anyone not in Miami nor anyone without SID 4151... be aware that changing your SID to a wrong place can be detrimental to your speeds... it can be changed in #data... and yes this thread is now abandoned..
of course, if this prl does nothing or does bad all you have to do is flash an unmodded prl and good to go././

@zelendel is a Moderator on the forum and is far more tolerant than I am. I said that if you were serious you should search. The first rul of XDA (read them if you haven;t done so before) is to "Search before asking anything". This question has been asked many times, sometime by noobs, sometimes by trolls, so the answer and the reasons why not are on XDA and Google in many, many places already - starting a new thread to ask the same thing is contrary to the rules of XDA and, to be honest, is just ignorant and lazy as well.
While Simon is correct about searching. I will break it down the best I can. The device is just not compatable with android. All the bootloaders are locked down tighter then fort knox. The kindle that you mentioned is based off of linux like android is. The iphone will never be allowed to run anything other then apples software.

And you are calling ME ignorant? who are you, the owner of the xda developers website or something? You can't just judge a book from its cover, homie! Do you know how long I have been a "member"? Do you know if I know everything about this website or not? Do you think I would have asked if I had known the answer? I have been an Iphone owner for several years and I have just switched to the android community and I am still exploring it which means I am new. And I actually love it, but people like yourself make it a little unpleasant. Man, this is ridiculous. I am being insulted for just a questione. You are more then welcome to ask question, but please understand that this is a developers site. Alot of the questions most new users have already have been asked a few hundred times. So searching first will most likely save you time and frustration. So of the people here are a bit short but that is due to people thinking we are a support site. This is the furtherest from the truth. So my advice would be to search and read. Things will come to you in time. You will also notice how the same questions are asked over and over again. After some time this will start to annoy you as well when you are looking for info and you have to read over hundreds of posts of the same question.
I will close this for you as you can not close or delete any threads. Even ones you make.
