Hi, I see a few people complaining about how the TouchPRO is better than the ATT Fuze, because of X and Y reason. I saw a few reviews on you tube, and read a few topics in here.
I have a Few Qs:
-The screen of the FUZE/touch pro, is it hard (like the iphone) or is it soft (like the TILT screen) ??
-Read or see somewere that ATT take out the YouTube "program" (or what ever that is called), is that true!?? so the Fuze users cant use the "cool" youtube app the TouchPro has?
-I have a Tilt, should I buy the Fuze!?
-anything else i need to know before buying it!??
thanks 4 your help
1. Fuze is worth it. TP isn't. Fuze is $200 cheaper. Big difference. Unless you don't care
2. The screen is harder than the tilt, but softer than the iPhone
3. Youtube program is in the /Windows folder, Aee tee n tee just decided to take it out from the Internet tab on TF3D and from the Start menu
4. Yeah. I had a tilt, I still have a tilt, but I bought the fuze. So much better. Loving it since Nov 12.
5. Finger print magnet. Don't drop it. Get a case and invisibleSHIELD for it.
6. Also. Some of these has been asked before. Please search
There are benefits to both, if you really want the device go for it and be happy. Either one is a good phone.
I wanted to get the Fuze because I want 3g support. I have no regrets about it or their changes to the device really.
The Tilt has some good Roms for it and I know a few people who have held back upgrading because they did not feel the price was worth it for just looks when they could get their Tilts to work similarly. Upgraded hardware not mentioned by them.
Kraize;
Do you know where the list or shortcuts are pulled from for the "All Programs" button on the programs tab? I want to add YouTube to that vs my start menu but cant seem to locate that full list. At least not yet...
The Fuze is the better deal.. unless of course you have tmobile in an area that doesn't have 3G and are willing to shell out an extra $250 for a front camera.. then get the TP.
Because I've made my Fuze nothing short of the HTC Touch Pro, except for the camera.. and of course minor differences in housing (the back is very glossy)... which i change the housing to my phones every 4 months.. so it doesn't matter
thanks guys, the thing is that I have to b uy it to ATT at the full price, cause I dont even have 1 year on my 2 year comitment I made last december
I forgot to say that, so for me both the TOUCH PRO and FUZE cost basically the same.
I got the fuze today. THe phone it self is good but ATT sucks >_< im gona return it in a few weeks so i can actually benfit payn for the first month...

Go with the Fuze if you're in an area with AT&T 3G service. The Touch Pro doesn't support AT&T's 3G bands. It's that simple.
If you're comfortable enough with ROM flashing, you can make your Fuze exactly into a Touch Pro (with a PTT button on the side and no front camera) or you can get a cleaner, smooth-running AT&T ROM by installing the NATF Fuze ROM here on the ROM dev forum. This is highly recommended because AT&T limits the speed on the Fuze to UMTS, but their network and the Fuze are HSDPA-capable. It's still pretty snappy even with the stock ROM.
Read my info here to help with your decision too:

same here, except that I'm not broke. Just sold my tilt for $500
wow!! 500 for the TILT!!!
wow, how can I sell mine on that price!?, hehe
I want to sell my tilt so I can buy the Fuze, I would love to buy the Fuze, but i dont think is going to be possible for a long time, I still have 1 year more of contract so I cant buy it at the 2 year comitment price, and the no contract price its too high for me right now...

Talk to the store managers. I was 11 months into my 2 year on att. They let me have it for 299 and just added 13 months to my contract to make it 2 years again. They can do it without any hassle if they want to. Sold my tilt for 225 so it only cost me 75 bucks to upgrade (that and another 24 months stuck on att again)

Front Camera
Hi everyone.
This forum is amazing.
I read XDA almost everyday .
The only complain I have for the FUZE is why they removed the Front Camera.
That is the only part I can complain about the FUZE after having a cook rom on it.
I bought a Tilt with AT&T contract extension in late October, and then returned it under AT&T's 30-day return policy in order to buy the Fuze. Overall, I'm very happy I made the switch. I much prefer the form factor of the Fuze (totally flat front, smaller more manageable size), and the VGA screen is awesome. Upgraded hardware specs are nice, but frankly haven't given any noticeable performance difference over the Tilt.
The things I don't like about the Fuze are as follows:
- Glossy finish (prefer hard-rubberized surface)
- Screen is "hard", requiring more effort than the softer Tilt screen
- Although I still can't believe that this flaw passed the HTC design team, the back of the HTC phone is not flat, but has this lame Diamond pattern with little ridges that prevent the phone from lying flat on a desk.
- Fewer hard buttons than Tilt, and no jog wheel (admittedly, I've gotten used to the Fuze layout and don't miss the lack of hard buttons).
- I think TouchFlo3D is lame, and finally removed it from my device yesterday. I prefer the HTC Home interface from the Tilt (which I'm now using on my Fuze).
The AT&T Fuze was, for me, very slow out-of-the-box. I flashed a cooked HTC Rom, and I've very pleased with the results. Although I thought the Tilt was an awesome phone, I don't miss it one bit. I like to keep cell phones for at least 3 years (preferably 4), so wanted something with the best hardware specs that should hold up well over time.

so, as my Kaiser gets long in the tooth.... I start the hunt for a new phone. I'm still happy w/ it, it's gotten over a year and a half of use from me (avg is 1 year max). as I peruse the forums for info, this is the first time, in which I'm not so sure what to get.
I'll tell you a little more info so you guys understand.
I live in Hawaii, and use Tmobile w/ the tzones hack.. (i was actually using it as long as I can remember, w/ my unlocked w800) so my phone bill is just under $50 a month. If I switch to att, then my phone bill would do the jump up to about 80 a month.
att has 3g in hawaii, tmo does not, and will not for the near future either. tmo's market share is so high in hawaii, that I guess, they didn't feel the need to upgrade us early.
The reason I like having unlocked phones, is that I have the choice, if I wanted to jump networks (although, I never would to be honest)
I have figured out that the xperia x1i, the touch pro, and the hd don't work on the 3g att network, but the fuze, and x1a do.
do I buy an unlocked fuze? and reflash? an x1a? (most of the available x1's are i, best buy has a few a's for $799)
do i buy an HD, and never use the 3g anyway, since I'm on tmo.
or do I wait.... until the new snapdragon and newer t-mo 3g capable phones come out, and hope that I like them.
a few more things about my prefrences..
I don't like typing on a touch screen, even the iphone screen.
I DO like playing 4pinball (but it sucks juice, and eventually i will get bored w/ it.)
I do lots of texting, and websurfing, listen to podcasts (sports shows), not a lot of video watching (only recently added youtube to the kaiser)
I have odyssey nav on the tilt w/ map for Hawaii(also, livesearch, and google latitude)
obviously, I've read through all the pro's and con's in each individual thread about the respective phones, I would rather have a touch pro and extra coin, but which one of those do I get if I do get it? and back around in a circle again..
one last tidbit, I love the sliding mechanism of the tilt, as oppossed to the cheap looking one of the g-1, and the xperia's sliding seemed only ok.
go and bring forth comments everyone.. thanks in advance.
Fuze or touch hd.... Personally i love 3g but with an hd i think i could live without it
If you do get the fuze make sure you pick up the screen responsiveness hack.... it help ALOT
does htc make a fuze in htc form? i.e. us frequencies. or do i hve to buy an unlocked fuze. it was so much easier w/ the kaiser...
Wait for the 09 HTC devices

I was thinking about it, but at the same time, the trend of HTC seems to 'localize" their phones to europe/asia, or america... The Kaiser seemed to be the last "jack of all trades", which is probably one reason why the thing is so damn heavy.
Honestly, I would buy an xperia x1-a but I've read so many problems w/ cracking cel phones. My kaiser has taken a beating, and it's done well, no wimpy silicone skin, or hard case for me, I am confident that I can drop it 6 feet to the ground, and it will be fine. I'm not so sure about the xperia.
If I could find a touch pro for american frequencies that's NOT a Fuze/att brand, I would be more inclined., but it's either Fuze or TP international branding.
Just because I don't plan to use att, doesn't mean I don't want the choice to switch and take advantage of their 3g network. I mean, for me, that's the whole point in having an unlocked phone... not being 'stuck' to one provider.
even, talking to cel phone experts, no one is ever sure which phone to buy, or what they are even selling.
one last thing about the xperia, their panel selection sucks... seriously, 6 aftermarket panels???? all worthless stuff?
The only benefit of getting the xperia 1a for me, is that it's fully warrantied through best buy, although i can get X1i's for way cheaper, and that take better photo's etc. (but no us 3g, IF I ever switched to ATT..lol)
If I had a better idea of both what is coming down the pipeline from htc, and when hawaii will get t-mo 3g, it would greatly help my decision.
bought an Xperia x1-a.. I figured, that I can always buy the next gen stuff later. I'm actually surprisingly happy w/ it.
We should not buy their 2nd gen phones which are barely worth the upgrade, not to mention i would not even do an even exchange for the new phone. The only thing they improved was Touchflo which will be ported over.
Seriously give us the same camera but without flash, the TP is the reason i did not buy a separate camera since it took picture pretty decently compared to the non flash Diamond which people say camera was HORRIBLE.
Then HTC understands that no matter which phone is out as long as it is a newer not necessarily better HTC PHONE it will sell. I would hold off till a decent upgrade is up, even you Euro owners as you are probably HTCs main customers.
This would not go over in the Desktop/ Notebook area or even the camera area. So we shall not allow it to go over in the PDA phone area. Would you buy a brand spankin new dell with a Pentium 4 with new casing and some fancy bells and whistles? If yes then i recommend you seek help.
Intel however DID do something smart, yes they now release a seemingly slower 1200mhz and 1600mhz chips BUT with newer technology which is so suited actually alot faster than my older Pentium 4 3Ghz pc. Not to mention it only uses abou 20 watts of power and gives 8hr battery life, compared to the usual 2 to 3hr.
Imagine if they put that in next gen phones along with win 7.
Well i kinda agree.. they haven't upgrade any of the spesifications (without the camera for diamond2).. still qualcomm and so forth.. well tf3d will be ported over as oon as devs get their hands on any roms and so forth.. well i must say that i'm a little dissappointed .. well the touch pro2 do look very very good when it comes to the tilt feature.. both phones do have larger screens.. which makes it (maybe) possibley easier to port over se xperia features like panels and so forth.. (well not that i care about panels).. well we just need to see some more reviews.. but i am a little dissapointed when it comes to specs..
All they have done is re-case the TP and slide the keyboard up. I certainly wont be buying the new TP 2. Not for that money anyway. i will stick with my TP.
im kinda worried they will have trouble porting the new tf3d since they are wvga now and we still dont have panels on our vga devices but hopefully the wonderful devs can make it work cuz landscape tf3d on the new ones looks so nice

What ????? My contract with AT$T ( for my Tilt ) is up in April and I am on the new TP II/ Fuze II as fast as they can say, $199 and a new 2yr contract.
Phones, like computers, do not get upgraded every year, every two years or so for me. I don't think that HTC expects everyone who bought a TP or Diamond last summer to run out and buy a new TP II or Diamond II , but I do think that these phones are aimed towards those of us who bought Tilts in fall 2007. After months of " sorry, we've moved on " by many of our Kaiser brethren, it will be great to flaunt my new TP II with my new " tilt " screen.
My friends and I think that the recession is why this phone came out. Same parts, nothing much changed, but charging more money. That's my theory anyway.
And no, I don't want it. Bigger screen without a beefier processor. Terrible Gimped Keyboard. No Flash. No front D-Pad. Nothing I want there.
Also I got my Fuze in November, and AT&T sure as hell wouldn't let me get a new phone so soon. American Contracts are stupid, but so is the price of phones without a contract.

i'm with you on this, main reason i didnt get a fuze is because i love my tilting screen. this provides me the fuze+tilt so i'm buying it day one att gets it.
same reason that I could care less about the extra features. Battery life is worse.
Only thing I like is the tilting screen, the integrated tf3d is awesome though, and the better resolution screen. That's it. No flash, no better camera, no wm6.5, no better ram or processor, etc. I hate the look of the keyboard.

HTC have said they'll provide WM6.5 ROM updates to both the TP2 and the Diamond2.
The Diamond2 is a smaller version of the Blackstone, and the TP2 is the love child of the TP and a Blackstone.
I got a Diamond last time round, and will probably be getting a TP2 this year for the tilty goodness and the gorgeous looking screen.
Okay I agree with some points like:
1. if you can put a 5 MP cam in the Diamond 2 why not in the Touch Pro 2?? There is even more room for it! Furthermore I saw somebody wrote that they took away the cam on the front, dude, check your eyes, the cam is still there man! Furthermore it has FM radio, read somewhere that somebody complained it didn't, well it has!
2. The rest of the features are a little the same, conference mode is cool and also the speaker phone option, nice for handsfree calling...
3. I love the fact is has a bigger screen! Great for navigating in the car, browsing etc....
4. I agree that maybe this model is aimed for those who purchased or got a Tilt in the summer/fall 2007 and who's contract is expiring this summer/fall which might explain why this model has a tilted screen feature. I really loved this feature and really miss it with my Touch Pro!
5. The design I find is awesome, it gets a 10 from me, face it guys, stop winding, they delivered on the design part! Especially the weight has been reduced as well as the thickness, its just awesome, give the people some credit at the design department will you?!
I traded my Tilt for a Touch Pro last Christmas, so since my contract is ending in the fall (after 2 years), I will surely get this phone, and take a 1 year contract with it just in case they come with a newer model next year that totally blasts away this one! I guess the model of next year will have:
- a better processor 1 ghz or higher for example
- 1 GB ram and 512 or more MB ROM ?
- same screen I guess, WVGA is awesome man!
- 5 MP camera
- I hope they keep the tilt screen feature....
- I like the new TouchFLO3D as well, awesome!
- for the rest, I'm contented with the features, just needs more power!
Furthermore, dudes, to be honest with you, WM 6.5 looks disgusting!!!! When I saw it it almost made me hurl! I will wait for WM 7 and bypass 6.5.... they can't be seriously contemplating on bringing that fugly OS system man!
This was just my 2 cents on the matter, so I will be getting this phone come fall!
We may be looking at capacitive touch screens on these devices. That and the tilt feature on the TP2 will probably have me upgrading....
Is it just me or do you guys find the new Diamond and Touch Pro's kinda ugly compared to the current ones?! :O The metal casing and round corners turn me off, I love the look of the current Diamond and TP, they look more clean and streamlined with the flat black plastic and squarish corners. And there's no D-pad
Also the new TP is freaking HUGE, its almost like carrying a UMPC in your pocket.

Sure beats carrying both a laptop and a phone. I, believe it or not, think the fuze is too small, considering the weight. I was more comfortable holding my tilt than the fuze. I liked the "tilt" of the screen, also. No d-pad? I got over that with my omnia. I'll miss having the flash, though-- no htorch!

Yes indeed it does beat carrying two devices, but the fact that its a phone and not a laptop is what really bothers me about the size, although the TP isnt all that much smaller (well I just contradicted myself, didnt I ). But I do know what you mean about the Tilt being more comfortable, I also prefer phones that fit in my hand, thats why I hate such phones as the Motorola Razr, its just too dang skinny. Thats why I still favor my ETEN M600 over most 'normal' phones.
Maybe not having a D-pad is just one those things that you have to get used I guess, like you did with the Omnia, but Id still like to have a D-pad
Are you people under four feet? The Fuze feels nice in my hands. It's solid, it's built well, it's uniform in colour and design (especially with a black theme) and it's not flimsy in the slightest. I can feel it in my pocket too.
Now, I would like a larger screen, but everything else on the TP2 is not pretty looking. Also AT&T doesn't have 1 year plans.

In Holland we can choose between a 1 or 2 year contract, the difference is, with a 2 year you get it for free, with a 1 year you have pay a minimal amount... If in 2010 they come with a newer version with higher specs, then you have the choice to upgrade. I too feel that although the current TP is solid, compact etc. its a lot smaller than the kaiser/tilt and that did feel better in the hand. They can't please everyone but I do fine the design a lot better, but thats personal....
I was just looking at the TP2 on the HTC website, thinking that maybe or at least the processor speed was upgraded, but nothing. Not even the memory capacity. The only upgrade that I see is just the look of it, the "outside". So I guess I will agree on not getting one until they actually come with a better (not only looking), faster, bigger capacity and newer technology phone. Then I'll think about spending few hundred dollars on a new one.

eeehh, what do you want us to tell you?!, from my point of view the Fuze its better than the Tilt in every aspect.
its smaller, looks better, better screen, better specs, better everything? (who knows)
I had a Tilt for 1 year and i exchange it for the Fuze, and man i love the fuze!
I know it seems like a odd question but we have 115 Fuze at work and people are always complaining they liked the tilt better or they hate the finger prints the fuze seems to attract but then again I will bet my last dollar we have some of the more complaining people on the planet in our marketing department they switched from the tilt to the Moto-Q because they wanted that one and it was "OH SO MUCH BETTER" then they went Fuze,
seeing I have never even seen a fuze in real life and seeing as how I want to avoid going to marketing like a sain man wants to avoid jail I figured I would ask here.
theres a bajillion posts just like this. i never liked the tilts tilt, and frankly the tilt is quite ugly. theres a thousand reasons to get the fuze. it is better in every way. youll make your own decision though.
Tilt was the reason I lived an extra year (after the contract) with my 2125 and then got a Curve 8310 temporarily as Fuze was delayed. Except for the GPS, everything else seems better in Fuze. If I could trade a used Tilt for a new Fuze (with contract), I'd do it in a flash.

I have both. I liked the Tilt A LOT. The Tilt was just like my 8525 - which I loved - but faster (other than the bootup) and with more options. HOWEVER, I just powered on my tilt yesterday to try out winmo 6.5 and I forgot how much of difference the Fuze makes... It's Nicer looking, feeling and operates better. I could never go back to using my Tilt after owning the Fuze.
Tilt
I like the FUZE if only for the stoarge and speed. I loved the Tilt. I hate having to use the stylus for most things on the FUZE. If the next level is the FUZE with a tilted screen with a scroll wheel, I'd be happy.
The next level is the TP2 which has a tilted screen, but no wheel.. I ALMOST miss the wheel, but the capacitive screen on the fuze has turned out to be really useful as well as the tochflo on-screen scrolling.
I went to the att website to find out the price of the fuze and realized that its not there anymore. Is the fuze discontinued? Is att coming out whit a upgrade soon?

I believe it has been. The AT&T Touch Pro 2 (Tilt 2) is rumored to be released on October 18th.
they dont discontinue it cause a new one is on its way. if it has a section for zip code then its prolly cutting out some of the phones. i know many of the stores in houston are still selling the fuze and the tilt. the phone hasnt been out even a year. everyone with a fuze is still under warranty and everything.
Actually they have discontinued it. I went to an AT&T Replacement store and they would replace the battery for my Fuze because they told me the fuze is discontinued.
It just barely disappeared from the website, but you haven't been able to get it since late August.
My Tilt gave out about then (company phone), and I went it to have it replaced with what I assumed would be a Fuze. There wasn't any there, and when they looked, there was only one in the entire state, and the store that had it wouldn't send it down. They claimed they could order one, but I doubt it would ever have come.
It's pretty clear in hindsight that they were clearing inventory ahead of the TP2 coming out (supposedly) October 18. I think they jumped the gun by a month or so, but hey, if you can't get a Fuze, that's a perfect chance to try to sell an iPhone, right?

Fuze is basically an HTC Touch Pro. The "Pure" is based on the HTC Touch Diamond 2. AT&T will also carry the HTC Touch Pro 2 as the "Tilt 2".
In other words, the manufacturing cycle for Touch Pro / Fuze is over. The Fuze device is not rolling off the assembly line anymore. Instead, AT&T has ordered volumes of the HTC Diamond 2 (Pure) and HTC Touch Pro 2 )Tilt 2) from HTC.
Get it?
BTW, I am in the market for a used Fuze in decent condition. PM me if you have one to sell.
I don't like either of the new phones. The Pure looks like the regular diamond. The screen is no bigger then the Fuze (maybe a tad longer).
The Tilt2 reminds me of my Axim x51v. It is about the same size as an iPhone but thicker. Too bad it is identical to the Fuze as far as processor/memory/camera goes.
I like the idea of a bigger screen, but I can't justify spending $300+ for just a new feature. My Fuze already has a newer WM build than Tilt2 out of the box. Just seems expensive for what they are.
I'm holding out. I hear AT&T is picking up the Omnia II which is same screen res but 800mhz proc. 5MP camera too. Or wait for the HTC Leo
I agree with you. I moved from the Wiz AkA Cingular 8125 to the FUZE last fall. So you can see what a big jump that was. The pure and Tilt 2 is a short coming. Same specs just repackaged. I will wait and hope ATT gets the new HD2 (Leo) or something of that caliber.
I can’t thank XDA enough for being the best community for people who share the same passion.

Yea since the Tilt2 and Pure (TP2 TD2) came to AT&T, i've been really looking at my Fuze. I love the fact that XDA is great and allows my Fuze to be more then what it actually was developed for. With that said I was never really happy with my Fuze. I think it is the thickness that really kills it. The microphone is horrible too... I'm always getting complaints that background noise is SO bad on my phone (and I've gone through a couple units).
I was really happy with my Dell Axim x51v which could pretty much do anything, except make calls. The Tilt2 reminds me of my Axim but it just seems like a side step to the fuze then a step up.
Seems all current HTC phones max out at 528mhz. I can't really say whether AT&T will top their new phones in a few short months. I'd love to wait around for the Leo but I seriously doubt AT&T will get it for a year or so (if at all). US Carriers never pick up the awesome phones.
Perhaps the Leo will be the upgrade to the Pure next year.
I'm actually on my 3rd FUZE. It's not a bad phone, I agree... It is a bit brickish... Also its very top heavy.
I would have to agree with the speakerphone.... Even using voice command... I have to repeat the command like 10 thousand times when its not dead silence.
But other then that, its got some great roms (Tael&Energy) and it does not look like they are going to be giving up on the phone anytime soon.
The last phone had an issue with white screen, and the phone randomly hard resetted.
They infomed me the last call that the next issue I have, I would be able to do an upgrade due to all of the problems I have been experiencing.
That was about a month ago (seems like when I get close to the endlife of my warranty the phones go nuts. I guess part of me is lucky that it does not happen until after the warranty expired)
My phone has been dropping calls like crazy for the past week, regardless of the rom, even the stock AT&T rom. Even when I put my girls sim in, same issue.... So I guess it's time to call AT&T...
If they are going to exchange the phone, I really would like to get the Tilt2.
I know if I call them now, they are going to end up giving me trouble or me getting suck with a blackberry or iphone...lol
Anyone else have this problem? How long should I wait... I've never ran into this problem before.
I got my first Fuze because my Tilt had the random white screen issue. It was the 3rd tilt I returned, so they let me upgrade to the Fuze. This was also a few months ago. I ended up getting my second Fuze (which I still have now) because of the trap door on the back coming loose 2 days after I got it.
I do see the issues coming right around 60-90 days after I get the phones. I am wondering if this one will have an issue too Course, I do get my upgrade in November.
I just checked my ATT account... The Fuze is listed as out of stock online, they are showing BOTH the Pure and Tilt 2 now as available upgrades.
The Pure is listed with a 5.0 MP camera, Tilt 2 has 3.2. Both have the same amount of Ram and Rom size as the Fuze... I thought the Tilt2 was supposed to be a little better?
I've had my Fuze about 3 months via a free upgrade (from my Tilt) from AT&T. I know there are better phones out there, but I have been very happy with waiting for things to get fully utilized and most bugs worked out of them before I adopt.
Now, can someone point me to where a fix for the Comm Manager ON/OFF Icons can be found. I have been searching the XDA forums without any luck! I will post a separate thread for it...

yes i know its weird how pure and tilt 2 differs ESPECIALLY with camera quality, HTC shouldve been fair enough to slap a 5MP camera on the Rhodium instead of a crappy 3.2mp we got on the Fuze, anyways, specs are the same as well, but the fact that when i looked at the review videos...it seems like the Rhodium seems faster and flawless, but still same specs
youre lucky that u have an upgrade in Nov, mine is next Nov xD
i would definitely buy the tilt 2 for the better keyboard and big screen and battery life but whats holding me back is the LED Flash....thats a useful thing for me to have because i use it as a flashlight if i dont have one in hand

they dont discontinue it cause a new one is on its way. if it has a section for zip code then its prolly cutting out some of the phones. i know many of the stores in houston are still selling the fuze and the tilt. the phone hasnt been out even a year. everyone with a fuze is still under warranty and everything.

the AT&T store i went to not too long ago doesnt carry the device anymore which i think is insane! it doesnt make sense to me and some people that why pull out a great phone for a newer one thats got the same specs?and its not even a year old yet? Verizon and Sprint still have their TPs out on display along with the TP2. AT&T should smack their heads back together and put the FUZE back up on the displays over here in this area or anywhere, at least until they get their hands on the Leo, if thats possible....
hey all,
im just bout in the range of buying the Tilt 2 but idk if i wanna jump ship though, i really need it because of the big 3.6inch screen and the beautiful keyboard, ive been going back and forth to AT&T lately checking it out and also looking for the expo, unfortunately the rep told me its not out yet but soon, i would get it for the snapdragon but my fuze is quick already and wont notice anything anyways, so the expo is out of the picture, so the real question is, is the tilt 2 really worth smacking 300 dollars in replacement of the fuze? and even though theres other newer devices out already?
looking foward to everyones input on this, thanks!

Keep your Fuze for now ATT is supposed to get 5 android phones this year.
Hmmm
I moved from the Touch Pro to the Touch Pro 2, under the assumption that the only difference was the screen, as the specs were essentially the same... But I'm glad I did, It's a far better and quicker (at stock level) device than the TP, I didn't want to go android because of all the apps I have for WinMo and despite some peoples gripe with WinMo, I don't generally have any issues with it.
Plus, a lot of the new devices are being released sort of iPhone-esq, screen only and the TP2 is the only device available (where I am at least) with a decent hardware keyboard.
I had been debating about upgrading to the TP2 for a while also. But I've held off mainly because the hardware specs are almost identical (except for the larger screen). I figured that I would be better off waiting until a Windows Mobile slider phone with a faster processor and larger screen was released. Although I have been oh so tempted to purchase T-Mobile's HD2 when it's released.
Same boat. what are the other prospects? i was highly considering the tp2
