You could try Vito software, it at least has maps for Oz downloadable.

GPS map software review
I think I tried and bought (trial version never let you fully tested the software) the top 5 commonly used GPS software. I looked around for AU and NZ maps too, but they are either too expensive or not good enough (primitive).
Tom Tom v.2 (for Europe) - very good, and I think it is relatively very cheap. I bought it at least 2 years ago, and the software is already very useful and I can fit the maps in 1 SD card. It allows you to mark a start and end points, then it will guide you to either the quickest or shortest path.
PocketStreet 2002 (for US) - ok. Similar to Tom Tom but with point of interests. But it won't auto-span across 2 maps. i.e. if you travel from one city to another, you have to manually change maps. But it is very cheap and the map is free. I bet they already fixed the auto-span in the newer version.
MapKing 5 (for Asia) - very close to TomTom. I tried MapKing 7, it is even better. With 3D and very accurate street level map.
Vito (for Australia) - cheap but if you are looking for street level map, it is definitely NOT the software to go for. The map is also outdated. Basically waste of money.
Memory-Map (for NZ) - if you plan to the your laptop around, then it is an OK software. It is not built for PocketPC, I have the latest version but it is not even comparative as the others that I got years ago. You have to plan your own route. And the New Zealand North Island map alone is over 900MB, even if I can fit it in one SD card, how can I load it??? And it is sooooooooooooooooooo expensive.
I have not tried this one yet, may be you can have a go. http://www.maptrax.com.au/
... I need to buy different GPS software because I travel to different countries faster than the vendor can create / support maps for different countries!!
Hi I had spv weather installed back in the wm5 days and have been steadily rebuilding on to wm6 and have got to sorting out a decent weather program. My problem is i can't for the life of me remember how I found what I needed to install in order to find my little town in the UK. I had it so I know it's possible but I just don't recall how I did it.
1. Is there a better option than spv weather
2. how do I find my UK town (Milford Haven SW Wales) again
3. what do I need
Thanks everybody
I've been looking for an HTC Footprints plugin for the WM 6.5 today screen. It doesn't seem to exist. So, I have two questions:
1. Is there an HTC Footprints plugin for CHome/Titanium?
If not...
2. Is anyone willing to make one?
I think it's an excellent app. Very useful for my line of work. Being a stagehand employed by multiple companies, I do setups for everything from arena concerts and sporting events to weddings in obscure places. It's nice to be able to take a picture of a place, name it, and be one or two steps away from having it plotted on Google Maps.
Hi guys... I've had TF3D2 on my device for a while now, but my 'Stock' tab is still empty. Where do I find the codes to view currencies, company stock values, etc.
I've searched Google and keep coming up blank. Bentley Motors, for instance doesn't seem to exist (I work there, so it would be nice to see how we're doing!), also Sterling to Euro and Sterling to USD rates would be very helpful.
Can anyone point this 'finance' virgin in the right direction? Cheers
Hi Good Peoples,
I am using SPB Weather 1.7x and was using the 'recrem' Template for Australia so the information can be pulled from weatherzone.com.au
All was fine until a few days ago when it stopped updating. It probably has got something to do with the changes recently made to weatherzone for minor cities/towns.
I have messed around with the template, including changing Moss Vale from 2577 to the new city code of 3751, but to no avail.
First question.... does anyone have a fix?
Second question.... If necessary, I may have to change my weather program. Any suggestions for a WM program that uses weatherzone as the weather source? (I have an HTC Touch HD.) Given the recent comments on the SPB Weather Forum, I am reluctant to upgrade to the current version.
I found that the Weather widget on the latest SPB Mobile Shell (3.5.1) is very accurate to Weatherzone for current conditions. However, it only uses main cities and not suburbs or areas within Sydney.
I am using the previous version of SPB Shell and it is because the included weather function does not enable small cities, that I bought SPB Weather in the first place. So unfortunately Shell 3 is not the answer.
