Hi there,
I recently used the "eugene" froyo update on my new unlocked samsung vibrant from t-mobile. it still lags sometimes and i was kinda hoping to find a way to make it faster.
I don't know if the eugene froyo update rooted my phone or not. under firmware version it says 2.2 and build number says FROYO.UVJK2. I don't know what the build number means either.
I wanted to downgrade from this 2.2 version back to 2.1 cuz i wanted to wait for the original release of 2.2, but i couldnt find a way to downgrade. I want to make the phone faster if possible, that is why i am posting this.
If anyone could help or give me a solution, please let me know.
Thank you very much.
What are the differences between the different regional versions of ICS? Is it just languages and bloat-ware, or is there more to it than that?
You know, like modem and phone might operate with different tel-co and country specific standards????
I am in Australia but have the stock ROM of the latest international version ICS LPQ flashed to my SGS2 i9100 though Odin.
I was just wanting to know if there was any advantage of flashing the Australian version of ICS LPQ when it is finally released here. (however long that will take?)
I recon my tel-co (Telstra AKA: Hellstra) will take 3-6 months if the last GB update was anything to go by. hehe.
I'm sure there are plenty of others with similar questions.
Appreciate an anwer please, as I have been trawling the forums and can't find anything.
Cheers

Hi, I've had the Infuse for some time now and I've been patiently waiting for the next official 2.3 update after it got pulled. I assume this wont happen and my contract will probably be over by then. lol. Anyways I'm kind of new to this and would like some help on upgrading it to gingerbread myself. I dont know if it's possible but can I put gingerbread without rooting? If so, that would be great. If not, can someone post all the instructions needed to do this myself and how to revert back to stock if I want to.
Thank you, really appreciate it.
Check out the Infuse 4G super thread to get you started:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1293751
that should have everything you need to root, flash, return to stock, etc. With detailed instructions on how to do it all, and what u need to do if u "f" up!
I just updated my daughter's Infuse with Kies Mini to the official 2.3.6 Gingerbread version today, April 24, 2012. We were having trouble with the phone messing up, so my wife called AT&T. They told her to update the phone with Gingerbread. I hooked the phone up to the pc and updated the phone. Working fine.
Good morning everyone,
I need some help. I'm selling my phone tomorrow and I want to make it stock as possible. Like a month ago I made my phone s-off to install the scandinavian ICS, but now the official ICS is released in all the european countries I want the official OTA on my sensation, so the new owner can get future ota updates.
I couldnt really find good threads, so I thought lets make a new one.
I found out you have to flash an old rom. I decided to go back to GB.
I found out this link... (cant post links, but the filefactory with all the ruu's)
Problem is that i dont know what radio version I had.
1.27.401.3 but so does 1.45.401.3
Is there a way to find out? Cause I cant find it anymore now I have ICS.
And whats the next step?
Hope you guys cant help me out.
Someone?
I guess you could just flash the RUU for your country & operator. If you also super cid'ed, then change the cid to default for your country/operator as well.
The sticky thread should be able to provide you with the details.
Cheers, Jp
There has been no news (and I have contacted Motorola + My Carriers support, generic answers of "it will be here soon we are trying our best) of 5.x on Moto G US Carriers, only retail which really sucks as someone who bought through Carrier to have not gotten it and already a month has past by.
Should I flash or just wait for it.. I'm unsure..
Hey were all still waiting for lollipop.. Some uses have it some don't I'm in UK still waiting for retail download on EE they said they have released it but you still waiting for the carriers to push it... Just a little patient it will be here very soon. On the plus side it only takes a little while to flash between cm12.1 and stock...
