TF3D in landscape - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I know that when the Touch Pro is in landscape mode with the keyboard slide out, there is no TF3D interface but only eight shortcut icons. Is there a way to allow TF3D in landscape mode with some sort tweak or program??? It will be so awesome if this can be accomplish. I am sure alot of people have the same question and interest in this.

You could use the Search button to find the answer, there are several threads like this one.
Anyway, welcome to the forum! As for the TF3D in landscape I am afraid the answer is no. You can't rotate it just yet. You could try with a VGA version of TF2D though...

TF3D and Keyboard Sliding question

TF3D is good and all but when the keyboard is out the interface is a nightmare to me...
I understand when we slide out keyboard out we usually need to type...
but why would it force us to use just 8 fixed application that we can't even change...
Is there anyway i can change the way TF3D work? Or at least choose the app available when the keyboard is slided out?
I have no solution for you but I just want to agree...
The thing that bothers me most is the fact: When you slide out the keyboard you want to type but all the links on landscape touch flo do not start something to write but actually start other applications. So you need to use the softkey buttons quite a lot until you get to where you can actually type. So I rarely use landscape TF and usually go into the application first where I want to write and then I slide out the keyboard...
agree
i agree to, the landscape mode is not responsive when the keyboard is out..
Has anybody found how you can start to compose a new email from the keyboard yet
There is a registry string under HCU\Software\HTC\Manila called EnableLandscape. It should be TRUE. However if you change it to FALSE, when you slide out the keyboard you still have the portrait TF3D cropped...
It's not a solution ofcourse, but maybe it will leed to something...
This what you actually get:

Is it possible to have snapvue instead of quickmenu when landscape?

Snapvue displays perfectly in landscape on the raphael so i was wondering if any of the devs here could do this:-
Have tf3d when keyboard closed and when opened instead of displaying the quick menu (or whatever it's called) display snapvue.

I originally posted this in the diamond section based on screen rotation with the g-sensor but it didn't get much attention. Would be more useful on the pro though anyway.

it doesn't display properly in portrait unfortunately.
I'm gonna try an app that allows a second today screen and see if that will sort it.
to get it to switch any other way is well beyond me

Possible to have snapvue in Portrait mode?
I'm testing SnapVue in Diamond. It works fine in Landscape mode. Faster and more informational than TF3D. Possible to have snapvue in Portrait mode?

Looking for a rom..... With landscape support

In a bit of a n00b when it comes to these sweet cooked roms. (my first decent phone in a while)
I currently have the Hyperdragon III rom on my Tilt now, And I LOVE it!! Great work man!
I have spent many a nights at work (network engineer) customizing it the way i like it.
But I am looking to find one that supports landscape as well, as that one gets wonky when in landscape mode.
Whats the best one for my tilt?
Thanks guys in advance.
What do you mean supports landscape? All devices support landscape.
Please, either post your request in that thread or go through the ROMs offered here and choose the one best to your likings.
I think he means which kaiser rom with Manilla 2D, that supports landscape.
Anyway, to answer your question, Solace 1.5 by Mbarvian has a landscape menu, but it takes a few seconds to kick in, and can take even longer when you close the keyboard because it has to re-launch TouchFlo.
Your other option is to edit your XML file(s) to better compensate for landscape. There are a few threads on how to do this. Since Manilla 2D does not support landscape at all, xml editing can't resolve every issue, its more of a workaround at best.

What's with TF2D/manilla 2d and landscape?

Hey guys, i'm currently using TF2D on my Tilt and i have the landscape settings installed, made by btprice.
I've noticed that it is about 60% functional. However the messages, contacts, music, and email tabs all display nothing.
Pictures, home, and settings all display their tab but are not scaled and positioned for landscape mode.
Weather and programs tabs are completely functional. I haven't tried location though.
Now, i was thinking of fixing the images for landscape mode. but upon reading the forums a little bit more, i saw the diamond gold blend theme. the author stated that manilla2d will never be fully landscape. does anyone have an answer as to why this is?
I would really love to get TF2D in landscape, and i'm willing to help with the graphics. mbarvian's alternative(even though he did a great job) is just too slow for me.
thanks!

Topaz can haz Manila in landscape?

Hi, all, a quick question for everyone who has a Topaz if they have manila working in landscape? I tried Flip it but it does not rotate.
sorry for double posting...i must have hit the submit button twice.
Hi, all, a quick question for everyone who has a Topaz if they have manila working in landscape? I tried Flip it but it does not rotate. However, it is working find on DUtty 3.0 from for the HTC HD.
Default it can't be in landspace.
Can be added to whitelist with G-Config, but gets corruption on the right when rotated so its not compatible with rotation. Guess the rotating manilla floating around in cooked roms is from touch pro2.

Hi
Go to thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=502102
or search for TF3D2 Tweak. This installs tweaks that are accessed in your program tab. Find "Manila Landscape On" and click on it. Let the D2 restart and watch Manila rotate. It's so coool.

Flip Manila in Landscape view
Hi All
The landscape workaround in my previous thread is still working fine for those wanting to know if it is bug free. Native WM6.1 apps won't rotate of course but some manila based ones do, eg messaging.
This TF3D2 Tweak is excellent.

Nice one, used it, and it worked like a charm!
Great tip! +1
