Hey all of you.. i hope u can help me ..
3 days ago i bought my xda and it rocked... i`ve installed some Apps like the Beer app and so on.. today i installed tf3d config and did some changes like branded screen and some menu things... i rebooted it and now it doesnt boot anymore i hope u can help me im very sad bec of this..

Just do a hard reset, I imagine you changed a setting that you should not have changed!
i did and then i had to configure the phone again.. after that it rebooted and it hang up again..
now it worked for 10 mins then i wanted to restart it and the display was going darker and darker till it was black
does anyone know what it could be.. mb my akku is low or sth like that but it should work when its loading
Maybe you have configured your Light Sensor so sensitive that the screen adjusts to black.
do a hardreset and don't use tfl3d conf. to see if the problem can be solved that way.
i did a hard reset.. after that i configured the device.. then it rebooted and it worked.. so i tried to reboot it again and now its the same.. when i do the reset tfl changes are erased?
Edit:// when the reset worked it was luck.. i cant see anything on the mobile so i dont know when i have to press any button..

I'm trying to use OmapClock and Startup Manager (http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/download-startup-manager.html) to overclock my Shadow after it wakes up but I can't seem to get it to work. I've already got the shortcut created and it works from a reboot, just not after waking. I think I've mirrored how it should be based on using MemMaid on a PPC but still nothing. Can anyone help out here?
Hey buddy looks like U r stuck after soft resetting the phone...
well ur phone is stuck..but U can syncronize to activesync..jsut manually delete the startup shortcut of OmapClock from windows\startup folder....then re-on ur phone....

Soft reset isn't the problem, it's waking up after it hasn't been used in a while...you know when the display turns off.

Similar problem, continues overclock is an issue for me as well tried Tornado power control but that seems to crash my Shadow "Juno".

I have many problems with my touch pro but this is the biggest one and it is really bugging me ......When somebody calls me the screen doesnt change the phone rings and everything but the phone stays on the today screen and i have to answer without knowing who is calling me .....
This problem heppens in like 40% of my calls so plz if someone have had this problem before and did fix it .....i would really appreciate the help
That's wierd... never had this... sometimes i have lag with the caller id popping up on screen... but eventually it is showing.
Maybe you should try a hard reset?
I've had this a few times too. The buttons flash, the phone rings, but the screen just shows the today screen. It hasn't happened very often..maybe 6 or 7 times, but it is very annoying
This happened to me too...
I found out that it was a app I had installed that was cousing the problem..
(cant remember which one now... maybe S2U2? or a combination of different call apps)
Think I had to install then uninstall S2U2 again for it to work...(or other app)
check what apps you have or had...
try removing them... or installing old one and uninstalling them again..
and dont forget to softreset... (you should try that first, if u haven't done it)
Only apps that have something to do with calls... not gps, picture app and so on...
agree with above... apps will conflict with WM system. To be 100% sure (the long way) I would hard reset everything and install one app per day or 2 days to make sure that ur problem doesnt come back.. if one it comes back, u will know which app is causing this.
but that's just me.

if i had to guess, i would guess that either Fast Switch skins for SPB MS 3.1 or SPB Mobile Shell is screwing up ur phone.... SPB Mobile Shell when u install it, there is a bug for the HTC that the task manager at the top right cornor disappears and even after u unstall SPB Mobile Shell, its still gone. the only way to get it back is to hard reset.... thats my ecperience for both Touch Pro and Touch Dual... I could be wrong but thats my guess.

hard reset = volume down button + center select button (center circle) + reset button (using stylus in bottom hole at bottom of phone)
press above all at the same time and wait for screen instructions.

It's with S2u2 something in the settings I can't figure it out turned it off but I love it! It's the only way I can see my appointments.

i was working yesterday and my phone was in my pocket and was squished against my keys! the screen is cracked... but it isn't, i think its the touch censor screen or something as i can see the screen fine just with a crack in the middle... anyway i cant use the screen to touch
i am using wm 6.5 and i accidentlly pressed the lock button in the start menu and cant seem to get passed the wm6.5 slide2unlock screen!
i try'd a soft reset but it is there as soon as it turns on
i dont want to hard reset because i would need to use the screen calibration (plus i havnt backed up my contacts and have some important messages!)
it is really frustrating i try'd deleting the files in the windows directory but it says it is read only and i cant delete it!
and im a bit broke and cant afford a new screen!
could someone please help

I'm no expert in this field, but have tried to sync the phone and unlock it from there? raspberry tru connect is an excellent program and if your d pad still works you should be able to install it and use the mouse cursor to do what you need to.
I have also heard of booting in safe mode, although I have no experience in it, but I'm sure if you check the wiki of your device you should find an answer.

Not that I know of because of the installation needed on the device. If the ROM you are installing does not have the setup features and are already calibrated then you can install the program like before and be good to go.

Sure thing. I should be flashing this weekend if not sooner. Trying to get a few programs to play nice together and not having any luck.
I'll let you know when I do and we'll see if it works and go from there.

I need your help ..I have a Sprint HTC Touch Pro and it was working perfectly but suddenly the screen disappeared ... I thought that windows was frozen but when I rebooted , the same problem with screen...I made a soft reset and the same problem, I did it for several times..I alse made a shutdown without battery but not success...
I could connected through "My mobiler" and it showed everything ...
I made a hard reset and looks like the same problem
Any idea what to do to restore my HTC??

Did you get anything coming up on the screen at all during any of your resetting, etc? If not, it sounds like a hardware fault to me.

Looks like it is working now... dont know exactly why..I just changed the battery and after some hours it worked ...I realized that it is slooowww and the "today" screen is not completely good so I will return to the old ROM ..looks like the newest ROM caused the problem
I have no volume up or down hard buttons or start button or back button... call button works if not in home screen and end call and home button works as normal....
i have hard reset 2wice, and ive tried going into settings/personal/buttons to assign them but only send key(hold) is displayed.. no other buttons are in the list ... please help

Did you have tried to flash again a stock rom or a cooked one made by one of our exellent chief ?
no ... only .cab mods nothing major... it happened after i installed a few translator downloads, when it asked to select record button shortcut key maybe???? idk... its all i can really think of.....

How could you hard reset if the hard keys don't work?
hard reset..... settings/security/factory reset
or
settings/all settings/system/clear storage
also removed battery for five mins still no luck..... i miss my buttons :'(
take it back to the store or do a handset exchange with t mobile
took it down to telstra shop this morning... theyve sent it away for repair.... i feel naked without it, it was past the 30 day exchange period but should still be covered by warranty they think, i will try my best to find out the exact resolution to this issue and post it here, in case anybody else comes accross the problem.. thankyou for your help guys !!!
