nobody talk anymore about GPS lag and bad fix...
Still got this and have to use external GPS....
anything new about this??
how to fix this?
tried all registry tricks.. nothing...
thank you
Why are you starting a new thread?
It's a known error and here people are working for a solution.
So I don't know what you mean with "nobody talk anymore about GPS lag" ??
...another person that can't be bothered to do a search i guess!!!
(in fact there are a couple of threads on the first page talking about this) Sigh!

Hello, all.
I just upgraded my Wizard (8125) to BlackDiamond 3.1.
So far most things are simply awesome.
But I am having a couple of pretty serious issues.
I hope you will forgive me for opening a new thread, but adding to a 48 page thread just makes no sense to me. ;-)
First, I am getting reports from the folks that I have called that I sound too loud.
I've read somewhere about how to fix this, but now I can't find it. :-( I stumbled across that issue while researching the upgrade path, but now that I need it, of course, it has disappeared on me! Can someone please point me towards a link for this?
Second, I don't seem to be able to do anything over the Internet via GPRS (EDGE). I can only access the Web if I have WiFi on. This, obviously, will not do for when I am out in the world. I am still on Cingular/AT&T if that helps. I noticed in Connections that I do not have MediaNet, but that is fine. I did not use their proxy server anyway. Can anyone help me out? I can't surf, send text messages ("The phone is not ready. Wait 15 seconds and try again.") or get emails (Send/Receive is greyed out).
Any ideas?
Other than that, this ROM is ruling! Who knew that an aging G3 Wizard could do so much!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Thanks,
Noon
Second issue resolved.

:head_shaking_disappointedly)
Been a LONG while since I did anything like this.
But I still can't find the microphone fix.
Anyone?
My major problem is that when sb is calling me, it takes the usual 2 seconds till they hear me or they dont hear me at all! I have to restart the phone. Ive flashed it with the GSM Radio ROMs 1.02.25.28 with no change.
Could it be some installed programm?
search.

(the problem is, i had problems finding keywords for searching)
yahu - maybe you should provide a link to what you found - so others will be able to find what they are looking for when they have same problem and search.

it seems my phone is bad and i need another one :-/
I been browsing a lot through forums trying to find a solution to the problem, but never have I had success. The issue is Google Talk constantly loses connection, mainly when it is on stand by and/or the screen is on "time out." This started when I started to use Wi-Fi, but I don't know if that is the issue. If anyone knows how to fix this, or if there will be some update by Google on this issue, much thanks to you.
also looking for a solution
Ive perused several different phone threads and many ics threads regarding the gps bug (even some official nexus gps people are having probs).
Whether this works for all phones Idk. I have the gs2 Touch.
On fc07.
I didnt want to go thru going back to gb.
Tried several gps apps.
http://www.appbrain.com/app/gps-doctor/com.epekware.gpsdoctor
This one did the trick. (not affiliated with them in anyway) I know sounds like spam but Im just happy to find a quick fix.
Gps still says searching but Im getting exact locations on maps and 'places'. Facebook is now showing me places nearby BUT still giving me a not found message. Previously fb would not show me any places in 'check in' and then also give me the not found message.
This is by far the easiest fix Ive come across in the many threads. doctor appears to erase all gps data and then downloads whatever and 'injects' it. You guys likely will know better than I.
Some screens attached. There is 'auto' and 'manual' I did the auto twice. Im attaching the manual screens for those that know what the hell all that is.
peace hope this helps.
(just tried again - turned off gps - back on. Opened maps and the arrow was way off. clicked the little circle button to 'find me' and it said 'locating' then bam snapped to my exact location)
Did this work for anyone else??
I tried it again and didnt have such exact results without wifi. So idk.
This gave me magical results...
Hey there!
Try GpsFix Deluxe, by Android Labs. It costs some $$$ but it hasn't failed me yet. I had an array of problems with fixing my GPS for long journeys, but alas, no more!
I give it the highest of recommendations.
it work for italy too?
I eventually get a gps signal... it takes a lot longer than stock rom... I hope there is more support for that soon
Moved to fc28 and Im all good.
The gps fix I used above never worked Im sorry to say. It seemed like it did. I guess it worked 'better' but didnt really work.
Gps would still be off by a block or so.
With the latest ics its off by feet. And it says 'lock' or w e it says to indicate lock.
woops fc24 not 28.
Please help with the "hello hello bug" (2-3 secs delay when answering a call)
There are lots of old threads about this, but I can't believe this is still an issue. You know the same old problem - When I answer a call the first 2-3 seconds the other side does not hear me, then everything is fine. It is called the "hello hello" bug or "Call Delay" bug, The oldest posts I see that explain the same issue are from 2011. Now 3 years later this is still NOT fixed. Come on Google get your **** together seriously...
It seems that every android phone that I've owned had this problem. This is my 2nd nexus 5 (the first had memory problems) and I still experience the same bug.
Anyway is there a known fix for this? Does anyone had this problem and fixed it somehow? I've read that there was some "Call Delay Patch" but I cannot find a working link for this, the app is no longer in the play store also.
I am experiencing the same issue since I bought the phone, even changing the rom to CM11 did not change the situation. Does anyone have an answer to this problem?
no issues here, im using lichtis rastakat build with trinity kernel.
bump bump.. Is no one else experiencing this issue? Saying hello 2 times after answering is a bit annoying .
I've experienced this issue as well, but I've only noticed it when I'm communicating with an iphone user. It never happens when i call or receive a call from someone on landlines or android phones.
I my case this happens with litteraly any type of phone. This is a really weird bug because it doesn't seem to be device specific, i had this happen to me on my old lg optimus black, but then installing a different rom, fixed the bug, now this happens on all the roms i've installed.
Could it be baseband specific?
