I have installed this one but which hardware key can you map to capture the screenshot?
As far as MyMobiler is concerned, I want the captured screenshot to be saved as .jpg etc on the Raphael itself without any PC involvement, is that possible with this program or does the captured image end up on the PC?

i use spb screenshot = it's free and good

On the raphael does spb screenshot allow the user to map a hardware key for capturing the image?

for viewing pictures i use XnView Pocket and it has Capture too with settingts... super. This picture is taken with it

Camera update... more frames per second

Hi All,
I am looking for a software update for my
XDA Mini camera software.
I have the version 2.70 ( done 18727)
on my Xda mini.
Is there a new version out that:
1. Can record in a higher framerate than 10 frames/sec
in 320x240 ?
2. has a mode for 90 degrees 320x240 instead of 240x320 ?
Will it be possible to tweak the camera to get
better pictures and video ?
Thanks.
Regards, Stefan.
afaik you can take videos in 320x240 (landscape mode) , just press the key under green key..
How to check camera's version ?
Hi,
thanks for the info about landscape mode.
Does anybody know,
if there is a newer camera version out than:
version 2.70 ( done 18727) ?
Aren´t there any independant camera developers here ?
I would be willing to pay for a software that can do
any recording in 320x240 in 25 frames/sec in any Codec.
Please let me know, if there exists something like this.
Thanks.
Regards, Harti.
well, i think it aint so easy but if it is
the version you`re using is the newest as far as i know, follow another thread about saving pictures to sd. check that out!
I realy love to see software for the camera function of pda`s.
Also a "panorama maker" sounds cool
Hi,
where is exactly the other thread ? URL ?
Is there a better camera software inside the XDA mini s,
( the new Imate Magician with the keyboard ) ?
As it is probably the same hardware camera device,
maybe it will have a better software which can be extracted
from the Roms and could be used also for the Magician ?
What camera software comes with Windows Mobile 2005 ?
Is there already any pocket PC out there,
that can record videos in 640x480 in more than 10 frames/sec ?
Regards, Harti.
There is a new version its V2.70 (Build 21026)
Here is a CAB file that will install the new camera into Storage and the Album as well.
I have also attached just the new camera that will install into RAM which will replace your existing one (this option will use up your RAM)
The below CAB's include the camera fix so the speckles or "Snow" have also but been removed.
To uninstall you may have to manualy delete the new shortcuts and replace them with the standard shortcut found in the windows directory.
These CAB files will not delete the old files as they the old ones are loaded into RAM which can't be deleted.
If you want the CAB file to remain on your PPC after installation simply change its file preferences to "Read Only"
All CAB Files include the Speckle (or noise) FIX
Thanks,
does this new version support more than 10 frames/sec
in 320x240 resolution mode ?
Howdo I install CAB files ?
Please give me an URL , where it is explained, how I can
install CAB fileson the pocket PC, thanks.
Regards, Harti.

Not sure what the frame rate is.
To install CAB files just copy the file onto you SD card or into your device via a card reader (sd card) or via ActiveSync "Explore".
After you copy the file click on it on your Pocket PC via your file explorer.
Thats it. it will install into the folder i mentioned above.
Is there soon coming a new camera software version
that can capture at 25 frames/sec in any codec ?
Who is working on something like this ?
I really wouldl ove to pay money for such a recording program.
Please use overclocking if you can´t get it the normal way, but please
someone try 25 frames/sec at 320x240 at least.
Thanks.
Regards, Stefan.

Please can you check,
if the new camera software can do more frames per second
than 10 frames/sec in 320x240 mode ?
Please check both in MPEG-4 and MJPEG Avi.
Thanks.

just harry test on ImTOO 3GP Video Converter
C:\Downloads\Video\200511162122_00003.mp4
Summary:
Duration: 00:00:22
Bit rate: 277kbps
Video:
Format: mpeg4
Size: 320x240
Frame rate: 25.00fps
Audio:
Format: amr_nb
Bit rate: 0kbps
Sample rate: 8000Hz
Channels: Mono
it seems to be true, after decode to DVx, player show me 25 frame per sec. & all fast motion in the movie looks fluent
Hi,
Did you record Video or MMS Video ?
in Mode Video with MP4 and MJPEG Avi the new version
still records in 10 frames /sec.
Maybe your converter programm interpolates it just to 25frames/sec ?
But this will still not be true 25 frames/sec from the source, the camera
and still will be quite choppy.
Regards. Stefan,
Hi,
I tested now all modes again with TCPMP Player
and all 320x240 modes only have 10 frames/sec !
Only the H263 mode with just 176x144 has 15 frames per
second. But that is just for MMS Videos mostly only and I want at least
320x240 in 25 frames/sec.
Regards, Stefan,
so is it worth it to upgrade from build 20117 to 21026? i'm using 2.7 build 20117 and the camera is still worthless.
ampda,
Are you going to do a new CAB download of the newer version which has your "bonus fixes" added in?
Just wondering cause I just downloaded your file above but am now wondering if there's something new just around the corner
Cheers,
marto

Resize video image in wmp

Hi
there is some registry tweak or some possibility to custom resize the video image in windows media player(except the default "scale to fit window")
i am using an application called PbxTV (live tv) who uses the wmp but the image is 50% off the screen...it is quite annoying.
Thx.
anyone ??!
No fit to width, no fit to height?
320*240 video, when full, the picture goes beyond the screen, terrible!?
a little challenge for developers ?
I use for resize video VidCrop PRO.

you can try to add the manila.exe to pinch & zoom list on BsB Tweak..
I added the solitaire.exe and it's working.

Is there a software for Screen Video Recording?

Hi,
I used to use SpbScreenshot for still captures of a Windows Mobile Device but now I need to create a video manual for an application that I am working on. Is there a software like SpbScreenshot but for Screen Video Recording upon pressing a hardware key?
Features I am after are:
Not too expensive (free is GOOOOOOD)
Full screen recording
Begin/Stop recording upon hardware key press
Support for audio recording (not necessary but nice to have)
Cheers

follow my articles - I've written several articles on screen recording-capable phone handlers. See e.g. http://wiki.xda-developers.com/inde...the desktop and the mobile device)&version=15
try http://www.mymobiler.com/
may not cover all your needs, but its free.
btw, here's my latest article with a LOT of stuff on video speed:

Thanks all
BTW, in the meantime, it occurred to me that I've posted an even newer article after the last one: http://www.smartphonemag.com/cms/bl...oller-presentation-suite-redfly-mobile-viewer

unfortunately, MyMobiler is probably the worst video recorder. If you're cons-conscious, go for VirtualCE; if money isn't a problem, Pocket Controller.

[APP][2.3+] GonnyCam Burst Camera (hi FPS unlimited shot burst on camera2 up to 8MP)

Hello everyone,
GonnyCam is a burst camera app that compresses and saves frames directly to storage as it captures them, avoiding memory buffer size limits that restrict the number of shots you can take in a single burst.
I've recently updated it to support the camera2 API but I've only tested it on a Nexus 5, so any feedback from people with other devices is very welcome! To access the camera2 features (higher resolutions, basically) you need to go into the options and check "Use Android Camera2". The checkbox will only appear if you have a phone running 5.1.1+ and with the "full" camera2 API implementation.
It supports resolutions up to 1920*1080 on Kit Kat and below. Supports basic colour controls, GIF saving etc.
Search "GonnyCam" in the Google Play store if you're interested. I'd prefer to link directly to an APK but the forum software won't let me sorry.
Nice job :good:

Hi. excellent app!
Unusable on a Dji Osmo Mobile though, as you need to keep the shutter pressed continously.
Could you add an option so that the big red button starts (and then stops) recording?
Then I can stabilize my GIFs on the Osmo

Hi, thanks for trying out my app.
The behaviour you are asking for isn't supported exactly in the current version, but you can do something similar by setting up one of the volume button bindings to "Burst (start/stop)". Then you can get the functionality you want, but using the volume button instead of the big red button.

I'm not sure what you mean.
If you mean "why can't I take pictures in portrait orientation?", actually, you can. The app uses the accelerometer to choose the correct orientation to save the pictures in. However, on some devices (e.g. if the accelerometer isn't working properly) then it won't work.
If you mean "why don't the UI icons rotate when I hold the device in portrait orientation" it's because I haven't bothered to implement this yet because it's a low priority for me. The pictures will still come out in portrait regardless.
Yes, that works - must have been a glitch on my phones accelerometer when I tried it last night.
Excellent - thanks
Facebook didn't want to play my GIF as GIFanim - just showed the first picture.
I see online that people claim that is because the gif is not in 1:1 format (but 4:3 og 16:9)
Have you experienced this?
Is there a way to "cut down" the pictures to 1:1?

My app doesn't support cropping GIFs to 1:1 as yet but you can use online tools to do this e.g. ezgif dot com slash crop (sorry I can't post links). Or you could try and search for a GIF editing app. Kind of annoying that Facebook doesn't do it for you tbh
