Pocket MSN Issues

I can't get Pocket MSN to work, Internet explorer works fine but whenever I try to use pocket msn, i get the error:
"logon to the msn messenger service failed because the service is not responding. please try again later."
Anyone know why this could be happening?

if it's an older rom then ms have a patch which need to be installed it can be found on their page

I dont think its an older rom, i just updated with the AKU2 for the O2 Mini S. I also cant find any patch/update on the Msn mobile page

Hi there, i had the same problem, dont know if you allready searched the forum about it, but a sort of answer can be found!!
Anyway, have you tried login in while conected to a Wi-Fi network?
If this is the case i have the same problem for now, i cant login while connected to a wireless network, but when i put th wizard in the craddle and i try from there i always am able to connect.
So try connecting while plug-in trough the cradle, this is the only way for now that at least for me works.

Real one player says: response timed out

When I use Real One player to stream I get this error:
Connecting....
loading...
Error: "Response or data from server timed out"
I have HTC P3300.
This happend on every site.
I've tried with wlan and edge.
I downloaded the file from http://www.pocketpcfreewares.com/en/index.php?soft=825
Any ideas??

I also tried to put my mobile device in DMZ after reading this article:

But didnt help

I've tried that also.(802.11B/11 mbps)
But me network is 54 mbps, is that why Im not getting connected ??

wait.. i think i know whats wrong.. go into settings, then connections, go to my connections and change your connection to "my isp"

I had that settings allready.
When I try to connect, and the file is loading, I can choose "clip info" and it tells me the length of file, bitrate and server type.
But it will not play the file.

few months back it used to work excellently from the same setup file.
I dont know what to do, I am so desperate to listen bbc on my ppc.

OPERA 9.5 - Error Remote server ...

I first used another build of opera 9.5 (v.1004, or 1186 I think), but after installing the v.1409, I can not figure out a way to make it work properly. While using the LAN (Activesync connection) everything seems to work. But as soon as I try to connect Internet through 3G, I got the error message displayed.
Does anybody have a solution ?

Operamini wont install

Hi people.
I have an HP IPAQ 514 Voice Messenger, I was using Operamini 3.x before in my phone. I updated to rom 2.05.x and tried to install Operamini 4.1 but it hangs at the end. It downloads the jar/jad files, starts the setup, asks me to use the internet connection, I say "use and dont ask again", it starts the other installation process but the process bar never fulfils. It hangs always at the same place. I close the java interface, open again and it says: "Operamini application paused, would you like to continue", I say yes, and it sometimes comes to the point where it hanged or sometimes starts over and hangs at the same place again.
I tried to install Operamini 3.x back, but it wont either install anymore. It says "you dont have an internet connection". I tried with both Wi-Fi and ActiveSyncs RNDIS, but no luck. With the both connections I test the internet with IE; I can surf all the places, but Opera claims that I dont have a connection. I even tried opening the both Wi-Fi and RNDIS connections at the same time.
Btw, I am using the Operamini installation file for IPAQ 514 and with no signature.
Anyone knows whats the problem and how to solve it?

PIE won't connect

For a while now my Portable Internet Explorer mobile or QuickGPS won't connect. I thought only the QuickGPS was the problem but then someone on the forum indicated that I check out iexplore.exe and lo and behold it also wasn't connecting. Not with wifi, gprs or even activesync. I'm loath to try a hard reset but I really want them to work (especially the quickgps).
Am using an original Polaris windows 6.1 rom.
Radio 1.58.26.20

The actual error says, "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again."
This occurs whether I'm connected with Activesync, wifi or EDGE/3G/GPRS. As a result, my QuickGPS won't connect either. HELP!

Fiddling around in AdvancedConfig has brought my Internet Explorer back into working status but am not getting the same luck with QuickGPS updates.
Am still getting "Connection failed. Please try again." So am trying to find a good guide on what to do to fix it but the forum isn't very forthcoming.
(BTW am replying over and over so that my efforts can be a guiding light for others, and hopefully I'll get a reply that will help me finish this.)

Did you sync it to a PC with proxies? the phone will automatticly use them, if you did, try disabling them

How I go about that? Cuz I sync it to my PC alot but am not sure if I sue proxies.

Nope. And let me reiterate, I've got Portable Internet Explorer working again but QuickGPS still isn't.
