RC E100 + AUDIO BOOSTER ON automatically after soft reset? - Touch Pro, Fuze General

I think lots of those who listen to music with TouchPro will like it.
BOOST YOUR MUSIC !
After hours, days of looking for the damn soution, how to turn AUDIO BOOSTER on after start or soft reset automatically i haven't found solution.
But I'VE RESOLVED IT this way.
Simply, download the files: SRS_WOW_HD 121.CAB (application) + WOWHD_ARM_Panel.cpl.zip (this is advanced control panel which gives you a few more options). You can find it in here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355913&page=17
1)install SRS_WOW_HD 121.CAB
2)unzip and overwrite file in windows directory with this file WOWHD_ARM_Panel.cpl
After soft reset you will find icon WOW HD SETTINGS in start/settings/system
The only problem which I was dealing with was that sound was quite low and only way how to boost it to normal, even better is put INPUT and OUTPUT gain to 0. But how to manage to keep 0 after soft reset?

SOLVED!!!
It doesn't work with TFLO3D player, but it works perfect with window media player and the others.
Another problem was, how to manage to RC E100 play music automatically after press play/stop button with SRS WOW effect. I simply unchecked TFLO3D music player in Advanced Configuration Tool v3.2 and after soft reset your RC E100 will work with windows media player automatically.
And little advice for you: I know that you don't want to remove your TouchPro from your pocket all the time you wanna listen music so here is solution. Start windows media player, uncheck option in menu/options/library/start player on library screen and close windows media player. Than install this cab ResumePlugin1.2.1.CAB thanx to Wolfman-XP you can find it in here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=2465767
and after you exit the player or the device resets it will resume your music at the same position and play automatically.
SOLVED!!!

IMHO the WOW SRS HD is the best eq available. many people got problem with htc equalize 1.02 or htc audio booster make them working. It solved my issue with low bass and sound level.
Cheers mate.

Great mate done it for both Raphael & Asus p750

You have to download this plugin. This plugin enables Pocket Player to 'host' plugins that are originally designed for Windows Media Player 10 for Windows Mobile. Many plugins simply control playback, such as the Bluetooth A2DP/AVRCP plugin on WM5 devices. Other times, more features and controls are utilized, such as the plugin for Microsoft Voice Command. The plugin also synchronizes your ratings and play counts from Windows Media Player!
http://www.conduits.com/products/player/plugins/gen_wmhost.zip
Unzip and copy in to program files/pocket player dir. Start pocket player and go to menu/more/options and plugins. You will find there new plugin conduits wm adapter so option configure and simply thick everything inside. It should work.

UPDATE
it is working with tflo3d player. but only wma is working. not mp3 nor wav.

Only problem is it will always reset SRS mode to Internal(Stereo), and not just
after soft reset but also after received call or after your phone establish
connection with your stereo bluetooth headset. For me resetting mode after
incoming call is deal breaker.

Unfortunately, with SRS WOW the output from RadioFM it's not that nice.. Without SRS WOW I feel some bass (maybe due Audio Booster).

SRS WOW HD is for playback enhancement. Can't handle stream enhancement. Of course. About the resetting to internal(stereo) after call or connect to bluetooth headset I haven't experienced it.

"The problem is that sometimes we are already listening to audio in the device's speakers, and then suddenly we want to switch the output to our a2dp headsets - this is sometimes problematic, as the First audio driver changes from "Audio Output" to "Bluetooth Adv. Audio Output" and the applications currently playing audio need to be restarted.
For such issues, I have provided a tool, as freeware, that will install as a today plugin and offer the user the possibility of instantly switching the audio between Device Speaker and A2DP Stereo Headset.
It is designed for WM6.0, Microsoft Bluetooth stack, please download it and let me know how it works for you. There are some more modifications that will be done, so this is only Beta-1 "

Thanks hendrixus,
I've just uploaded version 1.0.rc-1 of the A2DP plugin. It can be downloaded and used as freeware (0 cost) from http://teksoftco.com/index.php?section=freeware , or find it below attached to this message, including a short usage guide.
New in this release (as many users requested):
-bluetooth link signal indicator (it actually shows the signal strength of the device-headset connection)
-3 modes for headset: OK, Off, Err
-settings panel added
-Handle Bluetooth option
-Execute File after start option
-applet added in start->settings->system to start settings
-a2dp.exe included in the package, that with parameters: a2dp.exe -bluetooth: on|off -a2dp: on|off or a2dp.exe -bluetooth:1|0 -a2dp:1|0
thank you too, radhoo for keeping us updated
@ radhoo:
The play button doesn't work on my MIO A700. I have checked the "Handle Bluetooth" option and when I press the play button a message appairs and says: "First pair blabla ... "
Do you have a solution for me??

You first have to pair the headset before you can play anything. That's why the play button isn't working.

There was a little problem in identifying an A2DP device among other BT devices.
The previous post is updated with the new RC-2 version. Please re-download the CABs and reinstall this new version.
Those of you who had problems before will have them fixed with this release.
EDIT: it's too hard to upload new versions in each post, download the CABs from here:

Radhoo, thanks again for the update.
Need to start BT manually before pushing Start/Play
@radhoo,
Thanks for this tool, been using it since you released previous version here, works great and saves having to go into Bluetooth>Settings>Devices (although I use a shortcut) every time to connect A2DP properly.
v1.0 RC-2 is cool, now I don't have to start up the player after connecting my headphones but the Handle Bluetooth Automatically option doesn't appear to be working how it is mean to.
After installing RC-2 I re-paired the headphones but when BT is turned off the A2DP device shows Off. This means pushing Start/Play only turns on BT and have to push Start/Play again to connect the device. Is this how it is meant to work?
I would have thought once the device is paired and in the BT>Settings>Devices list the A2DP status would remain On.
Keep up the good work, be cool to be able to turn on BT, pair device and start palyer with one touch!
However my Artemis needs to find to it a A2DP DEVICEs can, like that it somewhat longer would be beautiful to examine either whether A2DP was successful, or however a WAIT COMMAND with x seconds to insert.
Thx
Menkul
The teksoft website appears to have been replaced (hijacked?), none of the links are working.
I'm really keen to test out this app as I've been looking everywhere for just this, is there any chance someone could post up the .cab file? The zip file posted by radhoo only include a PDF instruction file, not the actual app itself.
Much appreciated

Thanks for that but it's not really what I'm after. That product offers routing for the system audio to mono bluetooth headsets that don't support a2dp.
My phone and headset support stereo a2dp, and I've got the audio working well so I can listen to music from my bluetooth headset. All I was after was a small program (a2dp toggle) that gives me a shortcut on the today screen so i can easily switch a2dp onto wireless stereo, without going through the menu system everytime I connect.
A2DP Toggle appeared to do exactly that, but now I just can't find it anywhere as the links to teksoftco.com aren't working.

Thanks very much mate, that's fantastic, just what I was looking for.
this plugin is killing my battery. i only used it for testing when i originally installed it and i never kept the plugin on my today screen. last night i was playing with it and decide to leave the plugin on the today screen. i woke up today and 50% of my battery was drained. i simply charged it up again tested it and noticed 6% drain in 1hr. disabled the plugin and after 1 hr i was still at 100%. i did this twice with the same results. its a shame cause it works flawlessly.
I have also problems with battery drain but only about 1% per hour in suspend. What seems to help is to turn bluetooth off and on. Anyway that would kill the purpose of this great app: to simplify using bluetooth.
I'm also having a battery drain problem on my Tytn-II
I also noticed something else that is perhaps a bug. I have two bluetooth devices that support the A2DP Wireless Stereo service. When I use A2DPConnect, it does properly connect to my headphones and stream audio however on the today screen plug-in it shows that there is no signal and that the stereo headphones are off. I wonder if this is related to the fact that I have two A2DP devices paired with my Tytn-II?

Audible Player Skin

For those who like audio books like me, I've made a skin for the Audible Player. It's a similar theme of the WM Dialer skin with Dutty's 7b Non-touch ROM. If you've seen the default skin for this player... you understand why I made this.
It is a subscription service and I recommend it. I just don't have time to read as much as I'd like to I listen to these audio books on my commute to work. It's not very easy reading books on a 240x320 screen.
If you want to know more:

Here are some screens of the skin:

========================
Installation
1. Run APWMInstall.exe from your PC while synch to your device (if you don't have Audible Installed)
- Installs AudibleAir to download your books files to your PDA
- Installs AudiblePlayer
2. Download your audiobooks to your device or storage card for playback (need Audible account)
3. Place Audibleplayer_Kaisergreyskin.cab on your device and double click. Cab will begin install. Select to install to the same place you installed the AudiblePlayer (I recommend installing the programs to your Device since the memory requirement is low for the programs. You can have your books files defaulted to your storage card separately).
4. Open Audible Player
- Select Menu >> AudiblePlayer Skins...
- Kaiser_Grey should be now installed and selectable.
I was absolutely thrilled to see this skin. I had made a couple of skins for previous versions, but never got around to this one.
I'm getting ready to install in now.
I'm curious, I've been having problems with downloading full books to my ATT Tilt (after having easily and successfully downloaded hundreds to my 6700).
I've recently flashed to one of Dutty's ROMs and am hopeful it will fix it. Have you experienced any problems?
Also, I have an old utility called btaudio that opens the audio channel so you can listen via bluetooth, would be happy to post it if appropriate. I usually map it to a hard key.
I can tell you that this application posted on this thread works perfectly on Duttys 7b hydrid ROM. There is also another way to do this.. by using Audible Manager and linking it with the free Micro$oft Reader... although I haven't tried this. Now that I made this skin.. it looks really nice and maTches the WM6 dialer on the 7b ROM, so I'll probably stick with it.
If you wouldn't mind, could you post the bt utility here. I could search for it, but it would make it convenient for anyone else who wanted to try this out. Thanx.
I've installed your version and it seems to be working better (at least it appears to be downloading a book correctly while connected to ActiveSync).
Are you able to download full books via the wireless data connection/AudibleAir? I experimented with it a bunch and found that it wouldn't work unless I selected 60 minutes or less.
I figured it may have been something to do with the ATT network (I was formerly Verizon) or a problem dealing with my 8GB SD card.
Just copy it to the device and it can be run directly from there. If you name it something different, you can even use a voice command to launch it.
By the way, I've had contact with somebody on the development team and they indicate that there 'is some new stuff in the pipe (finally)' and that they hope to have something to give us in early 2008.
Happy Listening!
Here is the btaudio file.
Oh wow... I didn't notice that. My wifi won't download through audible air, even though the internet is working fine with my Opera Browser. hmmmm? I tried several download settings.
I turned off wifi and was able to download a 2MB book over 3G(HSDPA) in about 10 seconds... very fast. I used quality of 2, 60 minutes, storage card... no problem.
Don't know why?
If you hear anymore about audible development pls post... there's probably not huge interest on this board for that but I'll be watching.
Thanks for the btaudio btw
@smuook,
I installed Dutty's v3 last night and it includes a BTAudioToggle App that I was able to map to the PTT button. A little better than btaudio in that it turns it on or off.
I recall years ago participating in a thread where that one was cooked, but forgot all about itl
@smuook, check your PM.
For those having failures downloading full books via AudibleAir, I've found that turning off Direct Push email and/or Active Sync helps a BUNCH.

Perfect music player.... still looking

Hey guys
i've got an Omnia and I have had many Windows phones before but i've never found the perfect music player. Wondering if anyone that knows of one that will fit all the requirements below:
MUST continue to play when screen is off/device is off (like WMP does)
Must not interfere with the normal pin unlock/screen saver process
Will read and have quick access to all my music (around 14gig) of WMA/MP3's and an easy way to access it.
I don't want to install S2U2. I like the fact that to use the phone all i do is turn on and use my screen unlock code - I'm guessing S2U2 will add another layer to this.
S2P has an awefull system for dealing with larger libraries, unless im being an idiot. There appears to be no way to jump around easily and scrolling through 14gig of music takes a looooooong time.
Believe it or not, i've found WMP the best so far in that I can fire it up, select my playlist and then turn the device off and it will continue to play in the background - perfect! Sadly though, its a bit old and crap.
Can anyone suggest a player that will do this?
Many thanks in advance!!!
Nitrogen. Not sure if it fulfils last requirement. If you haven't tried it, give it a search on the forum.
most players got the option of as they call it "toggle screen" or "blank screen"
which is what you request when you say "MUST continue to play when screen is off/device is off (like WMP does)"
Sadly Nitrogen doesn't appear to support WMA
Cheers anyway!

Not really no. I want the windows pin/lock screen to take over and leave the device power saving to the operating system. If I lose the phone whilst it has one of these apps running, anyone can unlock it. WMP will let the OS turn off the screen thus invoking the Windows password screen when I turn it back on. The apps i've tried (a while ago, i admit!) didn't. If the OS turned the screen and device off, the app stopped as well..... doh!
That is, unless these apps do do this now?
I like Conduits Pocket Player: http://www.conduits.com/products/player/
Have you tried Mort Player?
I love it i use it mainly to stream shoutcast internet radio that i have saved my fav stations playlists to the phone.
It works great in the backround as long as you set the screen to turn off on battery to a timeout shorter then the device default .. I normally have it on 10 seconds.
You can also choose to lock all the buttons so it does not wake the device up or pocket dial. It works well with incoming calls and pauses the music when phone call comes in and resumes afterwards.
You can set favorites such as folders or playlists.
You can set it to resume last track position upon opening and it will resume where it left off and start playing when the app is open.
There are a ton of cool skins for the player with multiple screens for Navigation small bar that is always on top. Car screen. Default screen and a playlist screen.
If you set the play mode to changer mode it will treat each folder like a cd meaning u can leave shuffle on for your tracks and then when u want another cd just skip to the next album (seperate track and folder Next and previous buttons)
It even has an alarm clock so you can set your favorite songs to play as alarms.

Hi guys
thanks very much for a very detailed response on Mort player. Will give it a look right now!
If you want something that you can navigate through a large library quickly give KInoma Play a go. I also have an Omnia with 26gb dedicated to music and its as slick as an Ipod. Mort and Pocket Player are good music players but suck when it comes up a slick interface.

Kinoma won't do WMA without buying it.
Kinoma doesn't seem to have a screen lock function - although as it didn't play WMA i didn't bother looking too hard
Kinoma locked up whenever I tried to exit it.

This *seems* to do everything i want. Not tested its playing yet but it has at least recognised my WMP playlists and my WMA/MP3's - always a good start! Has its own screen off which i'm not happy about but can live with. Has a 30day license and if it works good, i'll cough up the cash. Thanks for the recommendation!
As for Mortplayer..... won't even uninstall if I want to remove settings, it locks up! Had to reboot twice and would only uninstall if it left its settings - crap imo, very, very crap.
aargh.... still looking!
Conduites player doesn't seem to be able to lock the screen and disable the buttons - although i could be missing something?
Also, rather oddly, it seems to take forever to open one of my playlists which is annoying and seems to pause about every 30 seconds for about a second. Any ideas?

[Tutorial]Audiophile Sound Quality in your PDA Phone MUST READ FOR MUSIC LOVER!!!

Hi, i just wanna share a little for all of you in this community especially those who use Atom Life. This trick can be applied for other phone too. Feedback are always needed. So here's the Tips & Trick :
Music & PDA Let's mix it!
There's two audio output component in your PDA, headset jack and speaker. Most of all time to reach a good SQ (Sound Quality) many of PDA user apply different setting for each output. Example : if you use the earphone then u change the EQ, SRSWow setting even the player setting itself to reach the quality you want. But after u switch to speaker (in case your friend want to know what are you hear), the sound is disaster and you have to switch it again to match the quality for the speaker.
So how about if i can give you a little trick to set the optimum setting for both speaker and earphone? It would be great...
I have do some research and of course testing to find the perfect optimum set for both.
1st Rule in music : A good music need a good player to show it's potential sound. And what player do you use? WMP is bad and suck we all know that, so what the other choice that good? I recommended you to use Nitrogen check it here. Why? Coz it's deliver a superd audio quality and better than core player. It's only use minimum ram than core player (tested on mine running Nitrogen on standby use only bout 65% while Core suck 75%). There's plugin for FLAC playback (audio lover like it ). Also it's support skin too. Make your phone more music friendly. For qvga device you view here.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2nd Rule : You have a good music, and a good player. What's next? An optimized setting for your audio output both speaker/earphone. Where it can be done? Check out your equalizer panel (Atom life O2 Software). Disable the build in equalizer, turn it off. Now move to the WOW HD Settings (enable this). Set this :
SRS 3D Effect : 50%
SRS Center Effect : 80% (on earphone if you feel that it's not balanced you can adjust it. set it as you like 50% or more, coz everyone ear is different and unique)
SRS Focus Level : 80%
SRS Definition Level : 20%
SRS TruBass : 80%
On nitrogen set EQ to flat (or don't turn on).
This setting combined with nitrogen will give you a great audio quality gain. With large frequency range to hear more through speaker/earphone. And also a superb bass quality deep but not overpress other sound channel. Making your music more great (feel the difference test it with your favorite song).
3rd Rule and the important once if you use earphone : Buy yourself a good quality jack converter from 2,5 to 3,5mm.
So you can use a good quality earphone to listen your music.
Here's what i use MD E945 BY MDISK
Impedance : 32ohm
Speaker : 13,5mm
Sensitivity : 106db @ 1Khz
Frequency range : 10 - 25.000Hz
WHAT YOU HAVE TO WATCH WHEN SELECTING A EARPHONE IS THE CAPABILITY OF THIS PHONE TO DRIVE THE SIGNAL. (Example : you bought a high end set or earphone but it have a high impedance and therefor your phone cannot drive it signal coz there's not enought power. So it's useless.)
Another way to increase is to buy an small earphone amplifier for your phone (but it's not practical, so don't suggest it).
Also when you have a nice set of earphone, don't forget to burn in before to optimize the quality of the speaker. All About Burn in view here. And if you want to burn in your earphone download burn in wave here and view my burn in playlist.
That's all i can share, waiting for your feedback. Perhaps you can share your setting too here or audio player you use. Thanks.

Q. Where is Auto-advance Setting now in Poweramp 2.0
A. It’s merged with Repeat modes. Just keep pressing Repeat mode until Advance List.
Q. Volume too low. Volume changes weirdly. Other volume issues.
A. Try to disable Direct Volume Control in PowerAMP Settings => Audio Engine => Advanced Tweaks.
Poweramp 2.x uses Direct Volume Control by default on 2.3+ mid-to-high end devices. On stock ROMs this produces much better audio output. But many custom/buggy ROMs, while supporting DVC, can fail with it.
Q. Poweramp 2.0 widget becomes white/doesn’t work on phone reboot
A. This can happen if something blocks Poweramp from starting on reboot and updating the widget – task managers, auto-start tweaking. If you use such apps/tweaks, you may need to add Poweramp (or/and WidgetPack) to exceptions list.
Q. Can I get Poweramp v1.4 look?
