Hi all.
I have a problem on my Raphael. Because(perhaps) as standart it is shipped with TouchFlo,I haven't the choice of Smart scrolling feature in the list of options,so I can't use it,even if I want it. I have disabled TF finger scrolling. On my old Himalaya it is working fine. I have version 4.0.2.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've had my Orbit 2 for one day and find internet explorer unusable, so much that I'm considering sending it back and staying with my hermes/tytn/Orange M3100. The touch scroll/flow is very very sticky and slow.
On my hermes I have SPB Pocket Plus installed with the 'Smart Scrolling' feature on. With this, Internet Explorer finger-scrolling down web pages is super-smooth and fast.
I installed SPB Pocket Plus on my Orbit 2 thinking this would sort the problem out but when installed on the Orbit 2 the Smart Scrolling feature is missing (!?)
I really don't want to send the phone back, so any help with resolving this issue would be very much appreciated.

I've installed it and scrolling is much improved, but still nowhere near as good as om my hermes with SPB Pocket plus installed with the Smart Scrolling feature.
Does anyone know why the Smart Scrolling feature of SPB Pocket plus isn't available when installed on the polaris (Orbit 2)?
try disabling htc's touchflo 1st?
It appears SBP PP's Smart Scrolling is not compatible with any TouchFlo device. I suppose thats a good enough reason for a little donation to support the chefs with their cooking of a TouchFlo + SPB Smart Scrolling compatible rom.

Why not install the new Netfront Browser 3.5? It's got a really smooth scrooling function combined with tabbed browsing and the zoom-out function (like Opera mini). And it's free until May 31, so you won't have to worry anymore for the next three months.
The IE_slow_scroll_fix.cab, however, made scrolling perfectly smooth on my device. I don't think it could be much better. So perhaps you try to do a hard reset and then install it first or uninstall SPB and then install the cab? It should work almost perfectly...
Think TouchFlo + SPB Smart Scrolling compatible is impossible. You'd have to choose one. That's why I'd rather use SPB which at least comes with updates for bugs.

Install Netfront. Maybe till end of May HTC has released a new rom where the bug is fixed.

I already have Netfont Browser 3.5 installed, and it has a very nice 'action'. Is there any way to get it to scale down the web page to a column like Internet Explorer does?
I've just tried Pocket Internet Explorer for WM6.1 (Thanks for the link alipi2007) and running this along with the IE_Slow_Scroll_Fix cab seems to do a better job.
However, let me give you an example to decribe the issue I still have:
When using the Polaris to view the index of this forum (http://forum.xda-developers.com/index.php), I flick my thumb from the bottom of the Polaris screen to the top three times in quick succession - the screen scrolls and halts at the picture of the Wallaby handset.
Now, when I do the same on my Hermes running SPB Pocket Plus with Smart Scrolling, this three flicks of my thumb up the screen takes me down to the picture of the Vogue.
Quite some difference, don't you agree?
It's this speed of navigation and fluidity that I need on my Polaris.

Following the ROM update to Mitchyprima's 6.1 lite reloaded, I've been looking for apps and games that make use of the now active G-sensor.
So far I've found none.
The only thing it does at the moment is auto-rotate the screen when the device is turned.
I've installed lots of apps and games mostly designed for the touch and touch pro, but none of them work.
Can anyone tell me about any apps that are compatible with the X7510, or any dlls/mods I need to use to enable the G-sensor for accelerometer enabled apps?

you can add any app to the program and it will rotate is that what your looking for
You do not need any additional app to have rotation feature. This is already built in the ROM by Michy. You only have to go to G-sensor option and switch X7510 rotation on.
However if you are looking for some games and other apps then I can't help. I know GSen app for rotation, but now it is useless as we have it already and personally do not use anything else.
So nobody is using the G-sonsor for anything except rotating the screen?

I don't even use it for that! I find the automatic rotation a pain in the butt- it's so slow to repond that you have turned to device round and round waiting for it to happen, then it keeps rotating till it catches up with you
I've got AE ButtonPlus programmed to use the Home button to manually rotate the screen. Same with my Diamond- I use PocketPlus to manually rotate it
The screen also rotates to landscape when you put your X7510 on your keyboard.
I like is that way.
The only thing I might find usefull, is scrolling trough your web-browser with the G-sensor.
I don't know hoe accurate this is but you can measure the slope of a surface using the 'bubble level' concept.
Might be a demo but it is on a freeware site
I am using the G-Sensor Calibration for Diamond from this site and it works on the X7510.

Hello everyone. I really like the finger scrolling in 6.5 but does anyone know how i can enable it for Word Mobile? I would really like to be able to use the built in scrolling (plus i can't seem to get any 3rd party scrolling softwares to work). Thanks!!!

I have a Blackstone and every 6.5 ROM I try has no scrolling in WordMobile, but it exists in 6.1 ROMs. No scrolling makes it hard to read eBooks (.txt) on the train.
I have tried to find a registry entry, but pword is very well hidden.

I have a Samsung Omnia i910 & I recently installed Finger Keyboard 2.1. I heard that there is a program called IMEmulator that can be used to set this as the default keyboard. Does anyone know where I can get it? I tried SIPchanger & it work but it caused numerous errors on my phone. I heard that IMEmulator works better on the Samsung.

look for SIP Tweak and try it.
note that some other keyboard put a shortcut in the startup folder to make their keyboard as default. if so, remove their shortcuts.

on my ex HD there was no problem with scrolling, on my new HD2 it works only
in the Index of Tomeraider.
I use Tomeraider since years on all my HTC's with a 4GB Wiki with pictures without this scrolling issue and on very long articles it is hard to scroll with the slider.
I have temporary installed FtouchSL, then the scrolling is back but the soft is not 100% compatible with the HD2.(i think)
is there a regkey to activate the scrolling ?
in Notes the scrolling also doesn't work.
On my german hd2 it is working.
In index with kinetic scroll inside an article I can scroll but not kinetic, which is a little bit unconvinient if you are used to kinetic scrolling.
My rom is 1.48

Kinetic scrolling works in the index like a charm, but in the articles i have only the slider for scrolling.
when i want to use fingerscrolling only textselection occurs.
