Guys,
I've just upgraded to the Touch Pro and used to use My Mobiler on my old Windows mob that used to be 320x240. It looks as if the increased screen res to 480x640 causes this a problem as I only see the top left portion of the screen even though it correctly detects the res on the little popup window on the PC.
I think the software is great and asked about this on the My Mobiler forum.
Has anyone made their TP work with this or do you guys use different software to remote to the phone?

I used My Mobiler on my Raphael with no issues whatsoever. Worked perfectly, screen shots were of great quality, everything was good.

Works fine on my TP.
I had this problem with My Mobiler as well.
If you have the "skin" displayed then you only see about 1/4 of the screen. Simple solution (for me anyway) - enable the showing of the menu bar/switch skin off. Now I see the entire screen on my PC.

I use a combination of Aurorisoft's DotPocket for projecting the Pocket PC screen to my PC, and then use SnagIt 7 to capture the screen.
You could use Microsoft's free offering (Remote Display Control) for the projecting the screen part.

works only in HTC devices
attached is htc home plugin cab file..
but not installing.. it says can be installed only in HTC devices..
may be some one can alter it to make it work for any universal..

It can install on UNIVERSAL, but doesn't look good for VGA screen....

Homeplug is VGA aware...
I've got the homeplug working on my Universal though if you change to QVGA mode the fonts are too big. I think this is because it is VGA aware and so displays bigger fonts on VGA devices. So if you were to run it in your screens native resolution i.e. VGA it looks and works very well... Though you may have problems seeing all you other stuff . I'm fine with VGA though so it doesn't bother me at all...

My Friend Laurentius you have to enlarge the layout not the icons.
I am saying that you have to open the distance between each tab so the icons can fully viewed.
Come on do it, you all know that you can.
IF you complete this work i will have a full touch contribution in my Universal and i will upload As soon as possible.

Because you have the knowledge. I am just a noobie about the development of oem softwares.
If you have time to check it it will be great.
Believe is a excellent programs and it's to bad working only in Real VGA mode.

I think you're going about the problem backwards , though that said I don't know if there is an easy way of changing the font either ... Changing the size of the text windows in the app involves a lot more work than changing the font size of the numerals within those same windows.
Though since I'm very happy with Homeplug in full VGA all I can say is good luck, because I think you guys are going to need it!
Well... I noticed that this app runs great on the HTC Blue angel.
The screen of the Blue angel has the same size as the Universal.
It still doesn't run 100% on Uni.

I dont understand why is so problem making HTC Home to work in VGA resolutions. Is ther no one can do that?!?

Been using my mobile from remote to my tilt which worked good. Screen resolution changed on the fuze and can no longer use it. Any ideas?

it works perfectly...you're referring to mymobiler, right? The screen resolution is higher so the PC image is larger but otherwise exactly what it should be
I too can use it just fine. The image a bigger but not a great deal.
i liked it when it was smaller.... grrr... when i select "no skin" then the mymobiler shows the screen size too big.

I use a HTC HD2 with ScummVM 1.0.0rc1 for WindowsCE.
I have noted that ScummVM doesnt use the full screen even if i toggle away the ScummVM Menu-Bar. Even then remains a black empty-space under the game-screen with the size of the ScummVM Menu-Bar.
I've tried to zoom with the Zoomer but unfortunately there appears the "zoombox" which remains on the screen and covers part of the gamescreen until you zoom completely out.
Does maybe anyone know a solution to zoom in ScummVM without that Zoombox, or is there a way to make disappear that box after a few seconds?

scummvm does not work on full screen because all scummvm games are vga resolution, you could try a wvga fix but that will just stretch the image
(in options i belive u chosed full screen and 2x and restarted the app )

Maybe in future an update for the Zoomer will be released that eliminates the zoombox. Then Scumm VM will be perfectly playable on the HD2.
Was just looking for this myself and it seems by choosing 2x and full screen mode once the you press volume down button the keyboard/menu dissapears and it maximizes the screen... Just played Full throttle for the first time in 15 years.. amazing.. really brilliant
I Decided I would create a HTC HD2 Skin for MyMobiler and decided I would share my creation with you all.
Features:
HD2 Buttons work (except the Start button)
Works for All WVGA Devices
Download Attached Below
To Install:
Extract the HD2 Folder to MyMobiler Directory
Edit SkinFile=defaultskin.xml to SkinFile=.\HD2\skin.xml in MyMobiler.ini
Restart MyMobiler

Start Key doesn't work on the Skin - Haven't discovered the command to get that working

There seems to be a problem with transparency in the corners of the skin not working in 50% zoom mode, however.
If you can fix this small problem, it would be cool. I never use My Mobiler in 100% zoom mode, since it takes up pretty much 1/3 of my screen space

Yeah - I think this is a MyMobiler Issue rather than my skin - but I'll see if I can create a 50% zoom version

A Couple of things:
you are extracting the folder to your My Mobiler Folder (there should be a folder new called HD2 in your My Mobiler Folder)
You have exited FULLY out of MyMobiler (not just close the window but exited from the system tray)
You have chosen Skin View in the MyMobiler Window (either Click the brush on the toolbar of the standard view or Goto View -> Show Skin
If you get any error messages saying cannot load skin - you're configuration in MyMobiler.ini is wrong (Make sure there is only one entry for SkinFile)

Furrhter I fully exited MyMobiler over the tray icon.
At last i found the option with the brush but if I press this icon the new windows looks like this
further down there is a line that says SkinFile change that one!
Any line that starts with a # is a comment
You've edited the one in the comments (# at the beginning denotes a comment) - make sure there isn't another SkinFile= Line below that and remove the #

I got the same as your screenshot; but then re-read the instructions and fully exited from mymobiler before restarting it. All then worked.
Topaz = a different forum.

i also get the transparecy problem in any zoom other than 100%

no one i think is using 100% as this will take most of the screen...
50% i think will do it for most of us
