Help Please!! My Dopod 818pro is frozen...

Hi everyone,
Help Please!!!!!
I have a Dopod 818pro that was unlocked and was working ok, but I wanted better performance, so I tried to upgrade the ROM to AKU3.3.13.ASERG-us. It looked like it worked oK, but after the recommended hard reset, I get the "HTC Innovation" screen and then it freezes on the black screen shows the below:
IPL 2.15.0001
SPL 2.15.0001
GSM 02.19.21
OS 3.0.0.0
"Dopod Enjoy Mobility" and then it disconnects from the PC.
When I connect it to USB and do a hard reset the PC recognizes it when the HTC Innovation screen comes, but then disconnects from the PC. So essentially, I am not even able to connect to PC to reinstall my original ROM (RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_Ship.exe).
I would very much appreciate if any one can suggest a solution to reinstall my original ROM software...

Hello,
Try pressing the camera button (hold on to it) and press RESET. You should be in bootloader mode now and the PC should be able to recognize the USB connection. If this works, try upgrading with the RUU_Prophet_2151327_21513121_021921_DOP_ASIA_WWE_ Ship.exe you mentioned. It should work.

Stuck in the bootloader

Hi all,
Trying to update to a WM6 rom, i may have done something wrong...
After formating as described in the guide, I can't communicate with the unit (in the RUU : error 260 update error).
On the bootloader screen, I can read :
"Tornado
IPL 1.00
Tornado
SPL 1.00.0008
Tornado 1U"
I've tried on 2 different XP PC's, no luck.
Any advice you can give to me ?

Load IPL/SPL from SD card ?
Having done a few mor searches :
- On another Tornado I own, I can read IPL & SPL are 2.00x. So my problem should come from them. I may have used a ROM with wrong versions. With this other Tornado, a small "USB" can be seen in the lower left corner of the bootloader. It never appears anymore with the broken one.
- I can flash this other Tornado without problem from the same PC, so the problem may not be on the PC.
- It seems that you can flash directly from the SD card : put a ROM with a specific name and boot. Anybody knows how to do that ? It could be a solution to gain access to my Tornado, and be able to use the usual tools.
Sorry if my questions are a bit stupid, but I'm no more in an area I know... I'm learning the hard way how to deal with all this !

Do a hard reset. I'm quite busy right now but do this: hold both left and right soft key and at the same time press the power on button. Press the zero key when prompted. You may have to try a few times as he timing is important.

I did it a few times : I'm asked to press the zero key, press it, can see the i-mate screen during 1 second, a white screen during 1 second, and then the bootloader 3 colours...

These tools need to communicate between the PC and the phone, and I can't right now.

The diff IPL SPL if I'm not wrong, have to do with the RADIO, someone correct me if I am wrong.

I have the same exact problem as you! I've flashed my Qtek 8310 with T-Mobile SDA rom (which is compatible...) since then.. My bootloader shows exactly the same as you, and when I plug the USB there is not the "USB" showing on the bottom left...
In addition to that, when I load up normally, it's stays stuck at the first T-Mobile logo screen...
Did you came out with a solution? I've tried Hard Reset too, but it didn't help, on the contrary... Now I'm stuck at bootloader and I do not get even the T-Mobile screen...

THere are many posts like this.
Did u do your reading before flashing? Are you using Vista, if so get on a computor running XP, u cannot flash with vista.
Did you unplugg all ur usb devices and any other connection software? Try also other usb ports. I had to try 3 of my 4 before flashing worked for me.
Please read the wiki and search the forums tho, there are many good guides out there like this one attached (apols for zip file, i had saved the web page for use ages ago)
You also dont say what ur IPL/SPL numbers are so its difficult to help, you should list the steps when posting if you need help
Get back if you need more help...

Hi, I had similar problem even after repeated tries. What I did to get around it was:
1) Run the HardSPL (from Prophet tools or from RUU).
2) Check "I understand the caution..." and click next to get to 2nd screen (see attachment) on RUU where it gives you the 4 things to check before proceeding (here your Prophet must be entering the white screen).
3) Leave the RUU on the 2nd screen on the computer and disconnect Prophet after white screen gets stuck and activesync disconnects).
4) Reboot Prophet.
5) Reconnect Prophet and wait for activesync connection to be established.
6) Now on the computer check "I completed the steps indicated above" and click on next.
Hopefully this should go ahead and HardSPPL your Prophet.
Do let us know if this worked.

Hey,same problem here...but you probably got rid of the prophet already...well hope it helps someone else
thank God i had surfed to other sites and found this HARD SPL utility.
Its in "wm6 Update_Package" ...might as well be from here..
(dont know who made it-i`ve been downloading so much stuff lately from the web no offence )

I need help

I accidently HardSPL my Qtek 9100 phone with PProphet LF Xtreme BLUE V2
and now my phone is getting hung after showing first boot screen HTC INOVATION and comes to the blue page imate where it shows the IPL , SPL, GSM and OS information.
what will i do now please help me to revert my OS

What IPL/SPL...? it displays? What exactly you mean by 'as i HardSPL my phone with wrong ROM' ?, Did you actually apply HardSPL (Patched IPL/SPL),does it show IPL 2.21.0001 and SPL 2.21.olip ? or it shows original official IPL/SPL.If its still with Official Bootloaders,then download the Official Qtek rom and flash it in Bootloaders (MultiColor Screen),when you get it and usb appears at the bottom of the Bootloader Screen,hope it'll work.

I solved my problem by the help of xda-developers I found another thread where i found the solution i was doing a little mistake that i wasn't disabling the Active Sync now I am happy and looking for some more custom roms

"catch-22" Phone don't want let me flash a new ROM, PLEASE HELP!

I'm almost broken down :'(
since days I'm trying everything to update the rom of my smartphone with the following operation system "XP and Vista".
I've got a Xda Touch diamond, but Vista says I've got a Touch Diamond P3700. Now let me tell you the catch-22:
I'm connecting the phone via usb cable to the pc(any usb-hub on the back of the pc)
Vista and Xp says "connected". Now I'm running RomUpdateUtility.exe. In the same folder
is the new rom called "DIAMIMG.NBH"
Now I'M clicking "Next" and again "Next". Now he says"verifing the information on your PDA Phone.. Please wait..
After that he says Current Information about you PDA Phone: Image version: 1.93.407.1
So now I'm clicking "update" the new Image version is 1.00.000.0
(If I use another Update Utility he says to Image Version 2.03.207.2)
Clicking "Next" and then again "Next" My Phone turns black and then the phone displays the three-color mode
and below the "serial" change to "usb" and a few
seconds later the phone shows a bar of 0% and on WinXP the bar also shows 0%.
Suddenly the connection is off. And a few minutes later the update Utility(PC) says EROOR(262) UPDATE ERROR.
I even disbaled the standby and hibernation modes on the PC. And I even tried flashing from Internal Storage!
ABsolutly futile! The three-color mode displays DIAM300, SPL-1.30.OliNex, MicroP-Diam (Led) v11,
Psoc_Diam STAGE_PVT v=x32
Is may Phone locked for new roms?
Please HELP ME before I'm going sick ´:__(

dont rush out and get a new phone just yet.... all flashing problems are actually quite simple, you just need to be methodical and patient
Firstly, i always flash with XP, call me old fashioned but its what ive always done lol.
in the past when ive had 262 errors (whilst flashing my touch cruise RIP) the radio i had installed at the time prevented further flashes.
What you havent said is what your current rom is and what rom you are trying to flash.

there's no problem updating my Smartphone to 100%.
But if I try to use any foreign rom for updating he freezes by 0%.
What is that?
I can't use any foreign rom from other peoples,
I'm absolutly helpless to this issue.
Please help me anybody :=)

Please tell me you have read the wiki or at least the stickys on how to flash with either hardspl or uspl etc??
If not ur gonna end up with a fancy looking brick.... what have you tried so far and from where?
