I have the same problem.
Think i'm gonna order one for the Raphael.
I have an HTC universal car charger that used to work with my trinity and that now works perfectly with my TP.
What are the symptoms that make you say it's not working?
Just doesn't charge.
The charger i use is the one with the blue backlit HTC symbol, worked fine for my Hermes and now also does for my Raph.

I have the g7b0 keyboard on an xda 11i, sw loaded ok, ppc moaned that it was for an earlier version of os but it woks fine.
however the power lead from my usb that fits my cradle is to large to fit the power socket on the g7b0, anyone else had this problem ?
do i need an xda charger?
thanks
dave
Neither xda, xda 2 or ipaq will fit. You need a y splitter from the manufacturer or any charger that gives approx 5 volts that will fit the barrel on the keyboard.
G7B0 Keyboard with XDAIIi
I also have this keyboard, have never managed to get it to work with my IIi, although it worked fine with my II. I have tried the original software, the 1.29 version, can't find the G7B0Setup_US_v200.exe file anywhere, which is supposed to be the latest version. What software are you using, and how did you get it to work?
Hi again!
I got a polaris with an original french sfr rom.
I took my polaris to navigate in car today, and i seen that my car usb charger does not work with it!
It worked with my old prophet, but not with my polaris!
Does anybody had the same problem?
I had the same problem with the prophet with some cooked roms, do you think puting an original Htc rom could fix my problem?
Thanks in advance.
Bruno
Have you tried to plug your polaris only after you have started the car ?
plugging the pda before ignition is not recomended and my cause the charger not to work or you pda to malfunction.
Yep, I also tried with an other sfr'polaris...
forgive my ignorance but is there such a thing as a mini usb splitter for the diamond so i can chare it in the car and plug it into my car stereo?
many thanks.

just ordered one fingers crossed it works! thanks all
I have an HTC touch diamond and a tomtom one xl. I wanted to buy the car charger for the htc, that is mini-usb, but i was thinking about the possibile to use the one of the tomtom (mini-usb as well).
Do you know if it is possible?
Thanks for your answers.
If it's mini usb it should work. Plug it in and see. i had a plug before that didn't give enough power to my phone though, so if it does work, make sure the % starts going up.
But anyway i'm afraid that it gives too much power or too few power and to damage the HTC. Is it possible?

though mini usb is the basically the same, some devices may accept power on a different pin. For example plugging in a motorola charger into an old mio will just show as a USB connection, and not charge. IGO makes universal chargers... Most devices are A32 tip, blackberry's are mostly A29, and HTC uses A53. They all supply 5v just on different pins. Dont worry about wreaking your device, the most that will happen is that it will think its hooked up to a pc and trickle charge.
Thank for your answers...
But anyway how could i know if tomtom charger has A53 as well?
News: I found it. Tomtom one xl uses A32 standard, so it's not compatible with htc devices.

A32 is standard. its pretty much exactly like plugging device into your computer. so it *should* charge your htc if it charges while hooked up to computer. It may charge more slowly "trickle" but it should work just fine. only the 29 probably wont do anything.
Thanks for your support.
It's always good to meet people so informed like you in this forum.
When i'll try i will post the result.
Bye bye
I've a problem with in car charger for my tytn II.
It was working fine 'till 2 months ago when it suddenly stopped to work.
TYTN II have no problems with mini USB cable connected to PC and no problem with AC power charger.
I've tried everything, another in car charger(it's from motorola), tried my originate in car charger in another car(which was working earlier and suddenly stopped)...
And just to mentition that some other equipment such as portable dvd player is working just fine in my car.
I'm using sakajama's ROM Hyperdragon III from 3.december...
So, it's really frustrating.
In car charger worked and suddenly stopped, there is still light on it's bottom(tried motorola's in car charger too), AC charger work fine and pc connection too.
Any ideas?
P.S. Also I've tried soft reset TYTn during in car charging but no success
There's loads on here about similar problems, just do a quick search; one thread is this one...

The mini USB is very temperamental, and isn't very robust.
Best bet is to get a proper HTC car charger.
Agree with comments above, bite the bullet and use the offical HTC car charger, worked fine on my TYTN II and also my new Topaz TD2
