Is there any way to change the default PIM (calendar and contacts) when accessing from TF3D interface? Whenever I open up the next appointment, instead of opening up using the PocketInformant I have installed, the default "Calendar" is used. Likewise from the "People" screen when I choose "All People" instead of using "PIContacts" the default "Contacts" is opened. Apologies if this issue was covered elsewhere on this website.

can the email client as selected from the touchflo envelope be customised? outlook sucks - i havent found a suitable replacement yet but when i do - since anything is better - i would like to open inbox into that app. defining it as the default mail app doesn't do it
cheers
I would like to see this as well. I like using FlexMail
I would also like to change the default page when you launch Opera by clicking the globe in TouchFLo. Would it be possible to have it go anywhere other than http://device.home?

Yep, I get a page load error everytime I click on the thing....
Agreed. I also like Flexmail. I'd be fine with the TF3D interface, but if I click on the Inbox softkey can I get FlexMail?

For this try entering opera:config in the address bar and change Default URL under User Prefs.

See here for the touchflo home page thing.
I would love to hear if anyone had an answer about the email link though...
Have you tried SSMaPa ? I've used it to change the my TF£D to open SPB Time instead of the built in clock, and to open Pocket Informant instead of calendar.
I believe it should work to open up flexmail etc instead of pocket outlook.
I can't remember the link but if you search here you should find it.
Found it!

i want to configure my home's right softkey so it gets me directly to my phonebook (right now it starts the camera application) and want to know if there is a shortcut to the rhodium manila phonebook? contacts.lnk in my startmenu links to the default windows mobile 6.1 contact manager.
thanks!
i'm searching this .lnk, too. Any ideas?
HKLM\\Software\HTC\Manila\
HomeRSKPath xxxx\yyyy\aaa.exe (ei: \Programs\Yota Phone\Yota Contacts\YotaContacts.exe)
HomeRSKText Contacts
You could use Advance Configuration 3.3 (Menu -> More setting -> Key Mapping)
D'rath
PS: the registry hack is to Manila v2.x
I am also wondering this. I am using verizonTP2
The only contacts I could locate was using the addrbook.exe in my registry. This contacts looks old and crappy. The contacts used under the phone (if you push the green button and then the soft key-contacts) looks much better and more finger friendly and has more options for contacts including viewing call history, txts, emails, ect...
Is there any way to change the registry so that this phone contacts comes up under my TF3d left soft key on the home page?
Hi there,
I'm looking for the location of the application/link that thouchflo starts when you go the programs --> Contacts.
I want to map my right softkey to it. I have changed it already to the standard wimo contacts, but I want the use the one from touchflo.
Did you find it?? I'm searching it too without success
I'm not sure if you really mean this, but I put the touchflo/manila contact view on my left softkey. You have to enter in the registry (HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila) the following:
HomeRSKPath: Manila://people\browserlayer\?.page
HomeRSKText: Contacts
Hope, this is what you wanted.. ;-)
cheers

Thanks, rohorubo, but it's not exactly what I'm searching for.
i'll try to explain with my rustical english
In the manila 2.1 "Start" menu, I can set the Icon "Contacts". But it opens the "WM6.1-Contacts", and I prefer the "Manila"-Contacts (that it's more finger-friendly, and includes photos).
I'm searching for the file that opens the Manila-Contacts. So, I could add a shortcut, and have an Icon in the Start Menu.
Sorry for my very bad english. Hope someone understand something
Path is in this registry key HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/ProgramLauncher/1 (if you have Contacts icon on 2nd place) . but I didn't try it
The time of confusing words is over
In a few words: "I need the .exe file that runs this application (see screenshot). Where can I find it?"
Thanks a lot!!
You should read the posts more carefully.
The file is \Windows\Manila.exe
The arguments required are --switchtopage Manila://people/browserlayer/?.page
So, if you wanted to make the Contacts icon on the default start page go to the Manila contacts page instead of the WM6 page, in HKLM/Software/HTC/Manila/ProgramLauncher/1
under Command you add --switchtopage Manila://people/browserlayer/?.page
and change Path to read \Windows\Manila.exe

I am not liking the HTC messaging client on my HD2. The traditional default SMS client of WM65 was much better and useworthy. When I click the tmail.exe it opens the menu and it does not show any option to launch SMS.
Any idea?????
