Looking for a today plugin for favorites.

I've been searching for a today plugin that will do a drop down list of my PIE favorites so I don't have to open IE wait for the page to load or stop it and click favorites.

I did a pretty extensive search but found noting at all.

Quick menu
Try quickmenu. It doesnt put them on your today screen, but It puts your favorites in your start menu, which is pretty convenient.

I am using throttleLauncher and would like it to be the replacement of the internet-tab. I could hardcopy my favorites but I 'manage' my fav's in PIE or Opera. A 'dynamic' and current set in a plug-in is what I'd like.

Google Search Bar on Today Screen

I have google search bar and windows live search bar on my today screen. But when I search it uses Pocket Internet Explorer instead of Opera Mini 4.
Does any know how to change the registry or install an app that would use opera mini?

Thanks for the reply guys but I already tried that script a few days ago and it seemed pretty buggy with google search bar. Mortscript is like an automated macro program you would use on pc. On the ppc, I had a problem where it starts clicking on the search button randomly. I tried the "WM6 OperaMiniAsDefaultBrowser - WithoutSelectionDialog.cab" again today but still the same problem.

Changing the Default PIM when accessing from TF3D

Is there any way to change the default PIM (calendar and contacts) when accessing from TF3D interface? Whenever I open up the next appointment, instead of opening up using the PocketInformant I have installed, the default "Calendar" is used. Likewise from the "People" screen when I choose "All People" instead of using "PIContacts" the default "Contacts" is opened. Apologies if this issue was covered elsewhere on this website.

if i understood your question you must use "ssmapa". you will find information in diamond forum.

pitt1983, thank you for your help. ssmapa indeed solved my problem with the calendar.

Is there something more recent thant ssmapa ?

Can I set IE as the default browser?

I've had it with Opera, the page sizes constantly change and end up so far zoomed out they are unreadable, there is no way to zoom back in, either by double tapping on screen or using the zoom wheel both do nothing.
IE works well for me. How can I make IE the default browser?

Thanks, I'll try it. I searched in the Raphael forums, but not in Kaiser. We'll see if this works on my Fuze, but I'm skeptical that this will change the default browser in the TF3d Internet tab if this was developed for the Kaiser.

That is what I want to know, how to change the browser int eh TF3D tab, setting the default browser everywhere else seems to be stragiht forward in comparison (which is saying a lot). :>)

Facebook app from update and events

I'd like to know if its possible to open the facebook app when i tap on any update in the "updates and events" tab in people. Right now it opens the facebook web version in opera.
I tried looking into the registry, but could not find anything. Anyone out here has any idea if it can be done.

I have another question. It is possible to create for "Update and Events Tab" the shortcut. I would like to put it to Quick links because this tab is very deeply in People menu.
When one of you can do it, so as to share it, please.

Yes m8 its possible ..the sortcut you want must have this line in...
manila.exe\ --switchtopage Manila://people\\browserlayer\\peopleupdate.page
and if you want this in the left softkey the reg file its like this

Thank you for your support but when I tried your shortcut's parameter, so it didn't work. However, I solved the problem. I found the shortcut of callhistory, which I was once used and then I created new shortcut with "peopleupdate" tab.
The results - target of shortcut is:
"\Windows\ManilaShortcut.exe" people/browserlayer/peopleupdate

Hi m8
The code that i gave its for you to put the function in the left softkey and its tested and working fine with NRG roms in Blackstone.
Anyway the manilashortcut.exe its an alternative to manila.exe and if its working for you its OK.
And i am glad to help you to find a solution that works for you
