Manila Rhodium direct link/shortcut to contacts? - General Questions and Answers

i want to configure my home's right softkey so it gets me directly to my phonebook (right now it starts the camera application) and want to know if there is a shortcut to the rhodium manila phonebook? contacts.lnk in my startmenu links to the default windows mobile 6.1 contact manager.
thanks!

i'm searching this .lnk, too. Any ideas?

HKLM\\Software\HTC\Manila\
HomeRSKPath xxxx\yyyy\aaa.exe (ei: \Programs\Yota Phone\Yota Contacts\YotaContacts.exe)
HomeRSKText Contacts
You could use Advance Configuration 3.3 (Menu -> More setting -> Key Mapping)
D'rath
PS: the registry hack is to Manila v2.x

I am also wondering this. I am using verizonTP2
The only contacts I could locate was using the addrbook.exe in my registry. This contacts looks old and crappy. The contacts used under the phone (if you push the green button and then the soft key-contacts) looks much better and more finger friendly and has more options for contacts including viewing call history, txts, emails, ect...
Is there any way to change the registry so that this phone contacts comes up under my TF3d left soft key on the home page?

Registry entries erased: Sound links to rintone files missing

I don't know why, but daily my XDA (aku 3.5, 24mb pagepool, 64mb ram) erase some registry entries and don't show the links to the ringtones, inside the sound option. When that happens, the remainders, others alarms, and the camera, don't work anymore. Also Magic Button doesn't show the right icon the icons of the phone pad. I use the SPB BackUP to restore the full registry entries, but the icons of Magic Button.
I also use Photo Contacts pro v4.0, Microsoft Voice Command v1.6 and SPB Time v2.1.0
Any help will be very apreciated.

Agenda Fusion as standard calendar app

Hi!
I've installed Agenda Fusion 8.5, where I really like the weekly-calendar view.
But for some reason - I've been looking for a solution for a couple of days now - I cant get it to work as my standard calendar app, meaning that it comes up when I press the "Calendar" soft-button on the today screen...
any suggestions for that?
thanks!
If you know how to edit your registry its pretty easy:
(From the Tweaks post in the Upgrading forum)
To attach a program to a soft key:
HKey_current_user -> Software -> Microsoft -> Today -> Keys -112 (for left key) / 113 (for right key) -> Open (change the program to whatever you want)
In the key "Default" you can change the text for the soft-key.
Let me know if you need help editing the registry...

PIE one-column layout - gone?

I read saved html pages eg news etc all the time on my mobile device using Pocket Internet Explorer a one-column layout. it is great way to simply scroll through and read text of a web page.
I just upgraded WM 6.1 to 6.5 to discover PIE one-column is gone.
i don't care about zooming in out of pages, images or functionality of webpage etc.
Is there a registry hack or something else that can get me a one-column layout in PIE?
Thanks!
HTC TD2
WM 6.5 build 21869.5.0.82
Try using the registry to set the following key:
Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Internet Explorer]
"MSHTML"=dword:0
That should switch you over to the IE5 rendercore, which should offer you the 1 column layout view.
THanks - i have one column view again
That registry edit did the job! I like the features in the IE5 rendercore! Thanks
Btw, I used PHM RegEdit to do those edits, and PHM RegEdit is not happy in WM 6.5
- I have to hold registry keys for long time to select them and the + - to expand/collapse keys aren't working properly. I have to hold, then i have to tap the menu bar on bottom to get them to expand/collapse. Really weird.
- input keyboard also needs to be held long time to popup. Very strange.
I noticed similar issues in WM 6.5 with Advanced Configuration Tool by Julien Schapman.
I wonder if these are .NET issues or something like that?
Also, the new TouchFlow finger swipe direction is reversed from before. In Email and PIE you have to swipe finger down to make page scroll up. Before you swiped finger up to make page scroll up! its different and is taking some getting used to.

Question about manila home Callhistory link

HI allz!
First sorry for my bad english. I created cutomized Xperia Wm61 rom with Manila 2.1, but i have one big problem with the manila interface. i cant remap Home tab Callhistory link to Wm61/Xperia Call history, by default if i press the Callhistory link on home tab, i go to the Manila people/message dialog (this working 100% only with HTC dialer+HTC message utility.) but i use the xperia dialer.
After little search i get one special Call history tab (with orangecallhistory.lua - this use the orig wm61 dialer). My first idea is, replace this with the orig HTC people callhistory dialog.
But, if i put this to the manila tab control xml and replace the original HTC dialog, i can call, but the left right key dont popup (here is the filter for calls) and i cant go back to the home tab (there is no back option) right soft key is mapped to all calls, this linked with the wm61 call history/xperia call history.
This is the only one bug on my Xperia rom, please help me, remap the manila 2.1 home tab callhistory to wm61/xperia call history.
thank you
