My carrier (Rogers) apparantly has added a "Name Display" caller id feature, does anyone if the universal (or its probally the Windows Mobile OS?) supports this?
I'm running a windows mobile 6 device, I suppose I could test it out for myself, but that would cost $3, so i figured i'd ask first.

Regular Caller ID (atleast where I am) only sends the phone number. Then if you have the person in your address book, it grabs the name from there.
With Name Display Caller Id, it sends the persons name along with the phone number, so even if you don't have the number, it tells you how the person is.
Here that has been the norm for land line for many years, but its something new that is being offered on Roger's Wireless
Name Display on Roger's website
Though rereading apparantly it doesn't offer the numbers from the landlines in my province... so might not be much point for me.

caller id is working through out the world. If you feed in your contacts correctly with correct dialing codes as provided by your operator, and you recieve a call from anyone in your contacts the name and phone number will be displayed.

I searched on google and i found the Rogers site.. I really don't know if a WinMo can do what they offer.. Rogers is the first carrier in the world who offer this service.
I think herein Italy there will be never such service, you know: Privacy and so on..

Really? here its compleatly normal on a land line, the caller id tells you who the person is, even from cell phones (in the last 3 or 4 years). You can opt out of it by talking to your provider, and they make you come up as "Private" or "Name Unavailble" or you can dial a key before you dial the number and it blocks you.
I suppose the only way of doing it is trying it. Reall yinteresting that Rogers of all people would be first in the world... now if only we could get some not expensive data rates

Well.. Our carriers allow us to send only telephone number.. But nowadays IT IS USELESS!!! If you want to know the name of an owner of mobile number YOU NEED to ask to POLICE!! So you have to file a complaint! There is NO OTHER way!
If you want to know the owner of a land line it's quite the same.. But old land line are still on phone inventory.. So if you pay carriers you could know the owner (But it's not sure that they are still on phone inventory).

Wow, amazing how different things are half a world away.
Here if I call any land line from my cell my information comes up
FName LName
604-111-2222
However my mom has contacetd her cell provider and opt'd out of that service and it comes up as
Private Caller
No Unknown
Some peoaple come up as
Unknown Caller
604-111-2222
If they don't want there name displayed.
Generally most people ignore "Private Caller" becuase 9 times out of 10 its a telemarketer.
Thats how it is incoming on landlines, on cell phones you usually only get phone number, or name
Now Roger's is starting to connect the landline database, and there cell phone database, and are providing names to cell phones as well.
I really don't know if I like your way or ourl way better, your way... significantly less creepy. Our way... very convient... I'm a horrible call screener

Didn't even notice that, will have to look into it... wonder if Rogers will actually give it free though, me and them don't get along too well since I refuse to sign a contract... they don't give us contractless people a lot of the freebies.
Thanks oh and
DJ Palmis, your welcome though its mostly useless information.
IMO it should work...it uses the same protocol as regular caller id (the software just looks up the name corresponding to the no and send it with the no)
do they give a list of phones compatible with this service??

Yeah, Rogers' Phones and Fido Phones.
I don't recognize any windows Mobile Phones on there (though I could be wrong)... but then again all theres are Windows Mobile 5 and maybe 6 supports it? I also dont' see anything like a blackberry or palm. So it might require special software
I'm one of those people that get all shaky if my phone rings and no name is displayed!!
Dunno why, I just hate the phone...
So reading this post made me think of checking, but alas, no such thing in UK as far as I can find!!
I would pay for that service, though tele-marketers would lose out on alot of answered call's so I can't see it being implemented for some time...

In the UK we have TPS (Telephone Preference Service) and MPS (Mail Preference Service). (See http://www.tpsonline.org.uk for all three: TPS, MPS, FPS for fax).
While the effectiveness of the latter remains yet to be seen, the former, TPS, has effectively reduced the number of rubbish phone calls from teleidiots to zero for me. Took about 3 weeks for the pests to stop calling. The downside to it, it was such a fun to take the sweet mickey out of these people. Some of them would actually realise the abomination of their ways, but it's like their job... Now, no more bold young people with Indian or Scottish accent trying, 25th time in a row, to sell me something I do not want from the same ol' company...
Rogers' name display works fine on WM5 from them, but I haven't been able to get it working on any WM6 ROM.
Anyone else figured out a way to fix this?
Does Canada have any chefs that could pick apart the Rogers ROM?
The last time I checked this feature doesnt work on Window's Phones from Fido. I subscribed to this cuz first month was free. Forgot I even had it afterwards and payed for it for 6 months, and I wasnt even using it.
I took out all the Dependant alterations from the Rogers Hermes ROM and applied them to my p3600 3.00.07.17 PDAVIET wm6.
It's works perfectly regarding
Themes, Internet connections, MMS, Home deck etc.
however the caller id still doesn't work
are u sure the wm5 hermes name display works with Rogers? I thought it was just a few blackberries?
looks like the only Rogers windows mobile device that has Name Display is the HTC S621.
I can't find any posted Rogers branded HTC S621 ROM images to work with.
If I had it I could probably pull apart the Name Display feature and get it working for any cooked ROM!!!
please post it, if you got it!!!!!!!!!

if you want someone to help you, then please state what the app "star walk" actually does
its an app for looking at the stars, it using gps and then tells u wot starts are above u
Sorry buddies,
it's the same old problem of any applications written for multi-type devices , starwalk for Iphone has one only hw configuration , so the developer can write code for a specific target (eg. the compass , fundamental for that use more than gps).
The version for windows mobile is old and not scalable for WVGA resolution , it freezes when you try to set your location ... the only work around is to set the VGA res. of the HD2 with a tool , but the graphic becomes orrible.
We have to wait for the next release to have this bug fixed , but anybody really thinks that Vito Tech. will spend time and money to fix an app for a dead OS like WM 6.5 , they will wait for WM7 , this's my opinion.
HD2 is the best at the moment ... but the apps written for this device are less than 20 , WM7 will give us the chance to have an increment of the apps for devices like HD2 , thanks to the elevation of the hw specifics required.

and that's written here...
in marketplace there's perhaps 20 apps... but there are 1000s of applications for 6.5 / hd2 (serious applications ) in the www and especially here at xda-devs...
And let's see if wm7 with all the restrictions will ever have a convenient marketplace. for wm6.5 you will find enough apps, if you only search for.And much are free, too.
So I don't see, that 6.5 is dead.and ms will still further develop it.
if you want to pay for the convenience not to search here or in google, then hope for wm7...or buy iPhone If you want an individual device with much apps but without a useful marketplace - then 6.5-device (btw: ever looked for "openmarket" ? )
sorry for this OT

Microsoft marketplace is nothing respect Apple Store , everybody knows it ; but it doesn't matter , it has a lot of margins of improvement ...
About the 1000 serious apps for hd2 I don't see them , how many apps are really touch-oriented ???? Still pocket star 6.1 is a serious app but is not written for our device ...
How many geotagging apps for wm 6.5 are touch-oriented + use the compass and are for WVGA resolution ???
I'm sorry to say it , but microsoft is loosing a lot of piece of market either of devices than of software developers that are not encouraged to develope new apps for this os ...
Increasing the hw requirement to reach the ones into the HD2 is the only way to standardize the software and to improve it , device builder will expand the resolution of the new models , will use all the capacitivity tech for the screens that means touch-oriented ... and so on ; that's why I hope in new WM7 , just for that ... I don't believe it will change completely how to use a mobile device , but it will make something that sounds as standard , at the moment the Tytn II is still the most wm smartphone sold in Europe in hystorical selling , very distant from the HD2 , ehh ???
@pippopluto1970:
I agree with you, that Apple Store has a lot of margins of improvement, first.
E.G. they could relax the restrictions...
Second, there is one small difference, between the Apple and MS, and this is the principle:
IF, and only IF all of the smartphones will have SAME specification, you can think about the standard.
If you want to buy Apple phone, your choice will be: iPhone or IPhone. Of course, you can have third option: iPhone, but this is exclusive, for the chosen customers only. Very Wide range of models, indeed.
So, sorry, mate, but when I'll be bored by my HD2, I'd like to have some options, other than another HD2, maybe some new Samsung? Acer? Or whatever will be DIFFERENT.
Standardization was very good in the age of Ford-T, but later was not so effective.

That's a rather silly generalization...
Would you like a pile of VHS and Betamax tapes? HD-DVDs and Blu-Rays? Of course not!
Standardization isn't always a good thing but it can be.
What a treasure this forum is !
I was desperately looking for an astronomy app (and I know HOW to google) and thanks ! You gave me the hint for Stella Theatre 1.3
Still would like to know if astronavigator definitely crashes on the HD2. Can u use download as trial and if it works THEN pay or do You have to pay before 1st launch ? (interface looks nice, would be willing to pay if it works flawless)

Of course, I'd like. I like to have DVD's copied into net HD, which I can play on any TV set in home, because watching BR on 20inches TV in the kitchen is pointless, while if I want to see the additional features, or if I want to see HD movie in living room, I'm using the BR disc.
Emmm... going to the PC, which I think is closer: I'm still preferring the PC with plenty of configurations and possibilities over the configurations and "wide" choice of dedicated features given by Apple iPad. Let's say: I'd like to expant or replace the HD, battery or graphic card.
Similarly, I prefer plenty of the mp3 players over the iPod choice (let's say: I don't want to instal few hundreds MB application, connected to the web, to upload one single mp3 to my device).
Going to the phones and your example:
What is the discussion about? If you'll like the standard, and don't want to have choice between options... well, first: Apple iPhone is the best for you.
Second: XDA principle, to CUSTOMIZE, and to develop new, breaking standards apps and features, is definitely not for you.
Why to choose between the plenty of calendars, if you already have one, standard, supplied with the phone?
Why to digg after the non-standard, modified, Today screen?
Why to look after additional, non-standard software?
All of the above, you have supplied in the beloved by you standard version, with the phone.
I hope, that above is detailed enough for you.
@spamtrash
You obviously can't read very well because I never said that I wanted everything to be standardized, I simply said that in some cases it was a good thing. You completely ignored my point about competing formats where one of the two eventually died out leaving early adopters with an expensive but worthless pile of junk.
Even your example about calendars is completely idiotic if you think about it in a larger sense... How would you go about your day to day business if it's Saturday, May 29th for you and Beetlebum, Camel the the oighteenth for someone else?
You're just another rebel without a cause who can't appreciate that some things are better off standardized.
@NeoGreendawg:
Sorry, but your approach that EVERYBODY needs the day to day business doing, particularly on the phone, is completely idiotic.
More idiotic is pointing that this is good that HD DVD died, leaving the monopoly of BD, without any competition, having the "only one proper" standard. The consequence is visible in the shops, that the BD discs are slightly more expensive now (when the standard is matured, but without the competitor) then it was previously, when HD DVD was on the next shelf.
And, finally, I'm not a rebel. I have grown in the country, where in the shops it was only one washing machine type, two or three car types (you can google and compare the differences between the Zaporozhetz, Lada 1300, Fiat 125p to have closer look on the choice in the late 70's and early 80's), two or three TV sets etc. I just have enough experience with the communism, when the Sun of Carpathia, Father of the Nation, or another idiot got an idea that everybody wants to have standardised thing.
Sadly for you, it was the Solidarnosc in Poland, Berlin Wall is crushed, and Ceaucescu has left his palace, not mentioning the there is no USRR anymore.
You must be sad ...

Yet again, learn how to read, I was extrapolating and not even speaking about the phone in what you are referring to... Secondly, without some standards (say working from 9 to 5) people wouldn't be able to get along with one another so easily and nobody would be as productive.
I also never said that HD-DVD or Betamax deserved to die out, but they did and it's not some disgruntled person from an ex-Soviet state who's looking for a utopia which simply doesn't exist like yourself who's going to bring them back (for better or worse)...
And third and finally, no, I'm not sad, I'm just angry that you're incapability to read and understand English has lead you to repeatedly misunderstand what I've been saying.
Anyway, we're way OT... Sorry about that. PM me if you want to continue this...
Sorry, but I don't communicate properly with the communists.
Secondary, I'd like to avoid the discussion to with the brain disabilities as advanced as yours, that they are thinking that the communism was only in the Soviet Union.
I don't know, maybe this is an education lack of geography in the Primary School, taken by the Greenpeace...
And: finally, sorry for my english, I live in UK since last 6mths only, invited by the silly company who want to break the standards and asked me to correct the way of thinking some of the company poorly educated staff... After all, if the RR personnel understands what I mean, there is still possibility, that you will as well, but start from the geography first. Then, maths maybe.
Thank you spam,
you made me laugh a lot so this is quite a good start in the day. Incredibly, you are turning a conversation about astronomy programs in an anticommunist-hate-race that would make old McCarthy smile - and by the way - yes saying that standardization CAN bring benefits sure is a true and real proof that Neo is one of these damned Commies ..... Gotta get your rifle, do you????

Can someone help me find an App for Android that will enable me to send advertisements to bluetooth enabled phones. I found a few for Windows etc but none on the Android system, any ideas anyone ?
Even if such an app exist, it would require the user to accept the invitation first.
I know this would require the user to accept the invite if you were sending a file but as a contact card etc there is no requirement for the receiver to accept anything.
Basicly if you could have a file sent to constantly transmit to nearby bluetooth devices so people could choose to accept the connection that would be fine.
A bit like the old sw blueminer for windows.
there must be someone on here that knows of something that would fulfil the need since XDA devs are awesome.

What is so great about our country (UK) is the fact we have the freedom of choice.
Many young men and women over the years have died fighting for this fundamental right. Now, if anyone thinks this bluetooth marketing software would be annoying or even deemed as spamming, use this great option of "choosing" not to accept it.

You, sir, just won one free copy of the internets.
No guys this would be useful in lots of applications like fairs, malls, places with lots of people and lots of store fronts. Say your wondering a music fest, suddenly you get notified that so-in-so is giving out free autographed cds to the next hundred people, or in the mall a notification pops up for half off at radio shack for all cell phone accessories if you bring in this coupon, ect. If you don't want it, don't use it. I think it's pretty cool.

Yeah, I think in terms of a small scalled run (ie comic book shop), this type of marketing is rather hit or miss. Most people have feature phones. What you need more of is whats called captive marketing. Like an add on a bus or train.
And guys whats with all the hatred? In the type of format of a cell phone, it would be illegal to push something to it without the owners consent. If you don't want it, don't take it. This is the same thing as somebody handing out flyers on the street. If you take it, you have consented to it, are you gonna start yelling at the guy handing em out saying he's ruining your trip down the road with spam? If anything, I tend to say something to people throwing the leaflets on the ground, that's ruining my walk.

A similar thing is already used but with sms location based marketing.
Here in the uk, co-op stores recently had a trial where customers on O2 within 0.5 miles of a store could recieve a free bottle of dr pepper.
http://www.kamcity.com/namnews/asp/newsarticle.asp?newsid=59471
Could be very interesting to recieve such messages whilst wondering around town.
Completely different to the suggestion of bluetooth marketing because sms marketing could be controlled by the networks to ensure spammy spamsters dont annoy their customers, and ads could be targeted easier due to the info the networks hold.
Never the less its a very intersting concept and I doubt many people would have a objection to recieving such messages, providing there was a optout once a message is recieved from a store which they dont use.
Personally I dont think bluetooth marketing would work as it has a very limited range, the majority of people dont walk around with bluetooth on, and those that do wont have it descoverable, and just have their headsets, earphoes etc paired to their devices.
forgot about the bluetooth bombers!!!
I used to go through a big box retail store with it on, and watch all the managers and sales staff pick up their phone and go, "what the f...."
then loop around and do it again!!! LOL, I was a ____ when I was young
Anyone else played with this?? Its amazing what it filters. For example "***** Cat" is not acceptable but "pussycat" is.
I am a little disappointed that you can't switch the offensive language filter on and off. I say rude thing to my phone... What's the big deal? Is it really that easily offended??
I have one thing to say about this.

say "Sha Bi" . It's a rude word in China, meaning idiot.
After reading this I tried it.
When I say '****' it appears as "##&#"
WTF, Microsoft? Why can't I curse to my friends? :|

Maybe they should have an English to American-English translator. Like whenever you speak into it, no matter what, it always writes "Spot of tea?" or "Bloody good sport chap!"
Im from Spain, and I use Voice Recognition in spanish. It´s brilliant, it understands almost everything. And It recognizes rude language to, changing offensive words to #[email protected]#!# or so
There's a very good reason why "offensive" language is filtered.
Speech recognition is imprefect, and every now and then it will think you said something completely different.
If you were easily offended and said something harmless which WP7 picked up as "f*** you you f***ing c***", you'd be furious, and it would be all over the gutter press the world over - "WP7 calls user a f***ing c***!"
it will actually write suck my ****.......yea!!!
So far I find it pretty cool, but I tested it against my friends Android and his was generally more accurate, and faster. So I hope this is something we will continually see improve.
But it is nice if you are driving or something. I can see myself doing that a lot. Especially since you can initiate the command from the start screen.
Hopefully the final Mango version will have some additional refinements that improve accuracy, and I'm fairly certain that there is still some optimization that is not yet enabled in their build process, which should make the finished version faster.

Or you could look at it as Microsoft covering themselves against potential lawsuits. There have been many lawsuits filed (and won) by incredibly stupid people for doing incredibly stupid things, but blaming someone else for their own stupidity. I could see someone turning the filter off, forgetting about it, and then getting into trouble for sending an accidental obscene text or email. And then suing Microsoft.

Hahhahahah!!!
I'm Brittish and this made me laugh so much!
(Funny thing is, there are actually some (not many) people like that! xD)
I like the feature - it scores high accuracy with me (I from Northwest US so I have a bit of a "Redmond accent".)
I am hoping that Microsoft allows for custom add of swear words... this is the biggest issue with me so far on texting. There needs to be some type of language control for swear words much like they are implementing with the new XBL rating system for WP7.

I find it doubtful that they are protecting themselves from lawsuit. If they had a toggle, it would of course ship with the settings default as filter ON, and the user turning it off would be there own doing. Just like android.
I would put money on the fact that android and windows mobile has had NO lawsuits awarded against them for accidental profanity while using Voice to Text.
What's the issue Microsoft? It's the user that is manually adding those words to the dictionary by typing them in. If those words are in the user's custom dictionary, then they should also be recognized through speech to text. Not a big deal.
Does it support Ebonics?

Well I had the misfortune of getting all of my stuff stolen by some crooked F****r
This happen to include my Infuse, nice and shiny
I am really... really ticked... so I was curious
Is there such a thing as a program or condition that one could put into their phone where a security test would be frequently asked (something that isn't annoying but catches unauthorized users) to verify the authorized user ie owner of the device?
Also the program would have to be have some leniency as I don't want it to brick itself when I ask somebody to check my messages of course I would tell them the code or trick whatever it may be.
I need something that when the phone is in jeopardy, it will destroy the device as well as all of the data that has accumulated on this device...
I just hate... absolutely hate with the blackest black like a black hole of hatred, when I have this feeling of "some bastard out there is freely running through my device" and I can't do **** about it.
Which happens to have past data on it, even if my SIM is terminated and my phone is cut off... there is still the numbers, photos, messages and such
Man I tell you, these lowlife scums... really? I was in a college cafeteria, I have my coat sitting there in front of everyone, I was sitting alone, I get up to get some fruit, when I come back, the coat is gone.
Yeah I left it unattended but at the same time you have to consider the fact that maybe these humans have something called morals in their little brains.
It's like... WTF
Plus the University Police's cameras suck... you would think that their capability of funding a $60 million dollar building, that perhaps they could install cameras which could do more than just differentiate whether a human is a girl or a guy.
Anyways... aside from all this bull
What can you guys think of... is there something like this?
I may just make it myself if something like this isn't already made, I'm so pissed
I just wanted to kill whoever this person was (not really as I could never do that) but man I was about ready to pick up this desk and hurl it at the window...
Thank you guys in advance for the read and perhaps an answer to my question.
Sorry for your loss.
SeekDroid is my phone's best friend. You can locate, lock, force an alarm, and wipe the phone from a computer. You can also see the phone number of the sim, along with a list of the last 10 placed calls. On top of all this, you can also force the app to hide on the phone so that nobody can uninstall it. Insanely cheap for what it offers.

I'm sure there is a lock out there that will wipe data or whatever you want if you get the passcode wrong a certain amount of times. You should use a screen lock from now on though... quick and easy for everyday use. And when something happens like this at least you know the dickhead has a paperweight and can't get past the lockscreen. You can also password lock the sim card too. I'm sorry about your stolen device. :/

How much is this app? It's a one time buy right?
The thing is, how helpful are these things when the phone is off? I guess the criminal would have to turn the phone on at some point
The main thing that concerns me (besides the fact that it's stolen) is the data still being on there, it's my privacy you know? I am entitled to it just like everyone else, as private as one can get here in the US anyways which I would say is pretty good... anyways
slapshot30
I used to use screen locks, I just got annoyed by it
I just have the little puzzle piece (or had)
I just want the phone to be useless, although if there was a chance for me to get it back, I'd like to be able to restore it (bricking I guess is what this is)
I just want to scream "MY BABY!!!! IT'S MISSING!!!!!" In a girl shrieking voice hahaha
Anyways, thanks guys I will heed your warnings and look into this app
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
What about the condition that the phone would terminate itself when it detects that someone else is using the phone
Say it gives you three tries to enter the authorization code
The unbricking would be easy (due to the way the app is programmed) so that if I accidentally bricked it on myself by not entering the code right, it wouldn't be a hassle to restore it.

I hated lock screens also. I'm constantly opening my phone out and to have to spend 3 seconds unlocking it gets annoying. I used to use WheresMyDroid (free on the Market) and its nice for finding the phone. By texting the phone (from any number) a special code, the phone will send gps latitude/longitude of the phones location and another special code will force the phone to play an alarm. It's not so great compared to SeekDroid, but it doesn't need data.
SeekDroid needs data, so if you send a bunch of commands, it won't be recognized until the phone establishes an online connection. So if the phone is off, then nothing can be done. But there's a high chance that they'll turn it on eventually. And there's an even higher chance that they'll try going online with it. From what I remember, it was $1 for the app. It was on Amazon's FAD a couple of times. Looks like the app is now $4.99 on the Market, but there is a lite version that you can try out. I think it's a steal even at $4.99.
get an app called seek droid
only cost a buck and works great
log into their webiste and you can wipe your internal and external memory cards, make an alarm go off even of phone is on silent (this lost phone) and other stuff.
also lets you set a password remotely. pretty awesome

Yeah SeekDroid is the way to go. it was free a while back on the amazon app store.

Last few releases of SeekDroid have included SMS, in-case the device has no data connection. Its not very well advertised right now, but some documentation can be found here: http://help.seekdroid.com/kb/features/sms-how-to-and-help
Glad to hear everyone likes the app. If anyone has any questions, shoot us a line at http://help.seekdroid.com
PS: We should be going on sale on the Amazon Appstore within the next few day. If you wait you might be able to save a few bucks.

Oh dammmmmmmmmn, SeekDroid now has the ability to wipe the phone through a text message? That's so awesome. Will the phone show that a text conversation has initiated? The person could turn off the phone if they somehow saw that someone was trying to find it.

If you send a SMS to SeekDroid (with the correct SMS pin and all), we will block that message from going to the phones SMS app. This means it still stays hidden from a thief that they are being tracked.

sorry to hear about stolen phone, but folks dont go out and spend money on those apps. Did I not read the reply or did I just miss the one that reminds us all they are 95% USELESS. They are P.O.S!!! They will only work if the phone 1) is powered on 2) has cellular coverage 3) has your sim in it.
All anyone has to do is turn it off, travel out of coverage range, or simply take out or replace the sim.

We get success stories of people recovering their devices all the time. Also, as long as the device has a network OR data connection it can be tracked. SeekDroid will still track the device if the SIM is replaced.

Lolwut? I can gurantee that 99% of phone thieves will at least connect it to a network of some sort. And that's when SeekDroid will strike. I'd take SeekDroid over any app out there on the market. It's simply the best at what it does and then some.

at least this gives you a chance as long as your proactive and get on it fast.
you get the choice to locate it, or completely wipe everything off the phone, which is what i would do because i wouldn't want someone to be able to screw with my email account, facebook, contacts, and everything else on my phone.
not to mention being able to set off an alarm on my phone even when its on silent has helped me find it a few times when it decides to go deep sea couch diving
hmm Really? might make it worth looking into then. Because according to big brother (ATT) and apple. The only was those work is by sending a message/signal to the device. if the device is off or has no signal there is no way to for the service. if its a free download. I'll download it and then remove my sim and try pinging it

What identifier is it using? Because i thought once the sim card was swapped it became essentialy a different phone
Check out an app called plan b on the marketplace website. You can install it from there and it will show you where the phone is an you can wipe it clean. It's free.

The stuff with the locations "longitude and latitude" doesn't the GPS have to be turned on the phone?
What about if the sim card was removed?
I had looked on my AT&T records and the 'criminal' did go online for a bit until the phone was turned off
But damn... the thought of having my email accounts logged in, my messages, phone numbers, personal notes and voice recordings etc... pictures...
Oh man it's like someone has just stripped me naked and posted my image on somebody's bedroom wall (ha)
Anyhow it would have been nice to have any of these apps on my phone, though my phone sticks to me like a cancer
Thank you guys for your input
I'll try to be wiser next time
Just a side question
What's the cost of switching devices if your last device was stolen? I like the sound of the "skyrocket" though I wouldn't mind getting my old Infuse back either and trying the ubuntu os
That looks sweet
