Help please with SPV c600 - HTC Tornado

I have an orange spv c600 that had orange sim. I no longer use the orange mobile (hated it) and want to use my O2 sim card instead. Now I've application unlocked the phone already using the methods found on forums, and when I use Checkit.exe it confirms that the phone is application unlocked, but I can't seem to get it unlocked to work with the O2 sim or any other sim even. I think the problem has something to do with the CID. I tried setting the CID to 11111111111, like it says to do in the SPV services but everytime I checked it nothing has changed. I'm using the I-mate Rom on the phone. Tried the Cingular 2125 but that didn't help.
Anyway help appreciated. Thanks.

I had this problem and I managed to get it working by firmly pushing the sim into place on insert - sounds crazy but everytime I put my default Orange - in it worked. O2 - no sim card - everytime - so tried another - same problem - but after pusing into place - yes!
I also have a SPV M500 which needs to be unlocked.
Can you let me know where to get the tool.
Thanks in advance.
Grtz

Hello!!
I have a question:
i have bought spv e650 that is locked to orange can i unlocked it by instaling other rom (that dont have simlock)??
and if it is posible what rom to install?? VOX?? DOPOD??
or if it is possible can i unlock my curent rom?? cid and sim
Oki, two little things I learned...
There are at least three types of lock.
SIM-LOCK - You're locked on one provider
CID-LOCK - You're locked to one "manufacturer"
APP-LOCK - You can't install some stuff on your phone.
While the APP-LOCK can be disabled by simply using a registry editor (do a search, you'll find tons of answes), the other two are a bit more complex to get rid of.
CID-LOCK prevents you from installing a ROM from a different brand or distributor. Example, you bought a e650 and you want to install the non branded HTC rom? You can't. It will tell you "Invalid vendor id".
For this check the Bootloader thread, some people here can do MAGIC.
For the SIM-LOCK... Well, either you pay your provider to unlock it for you or you go to a company able to do it. Still no way of doing this on our own.
Ka.
so if i remove cid-lock i can instal other ROM, but if i'll do that i will no longer have sim-lock?? is there a ROM that is whitout sim-lock??
Sim lock
Hi
Even if you flash the htc rom that is not sim locked it will not remove the sim lock as this is hard coded onto phone and currently can only be removed by imei check or your network provider, providing that they carry this phone.

Orange Tytn2

Hi guys
I've just unlock my Orange tytn2 because I want to use a Tmobile UK sim .I did read here sometime ago that flashing Orange phones might brick it.How do I go about using a different rom so as to get Tmobile setting?
Thanks
There is a piece of softeare called connection setup. this will auto detect the network and your tmobile sim and will prompt you to install the settings.
I am on Orange UK and that software was taken off as part of the Orange UK customisation.
Now, usually most cooked ROM shefs have included this Connection Setup software with the ROM. so once you flash your phone (and only do so after you have extensivley Read and Read the froum) you will be able to get the setup automatically.
If you didnt want to go through all of that yet, you need to find the cab (software) and run it. most threads with cab collections will have it.

Make sure you hardspl before flashing a new rom, most roms have connection setup after the flash.
If you want to avoid bricking your Orange TyTN II, and wish to flash a new radio (or new rom including a radio), you'll have to SIM unlock it first.
I did it on a french Orange TyTN II, and everything went fine.
If you directly flash a new radio (alone, or together with the ROM), the SIM lock window will pop-up, and you will have to get the code from Orange before being able to use your phone again.

Cant remove Olipro Hard-SPL 1.40

I have a Treo 750v - UK Vodafone which i unlocked using cheetah unlocker, even though i managed to get to step 3 on the cheetah unlocker which should flash radio back to original, it didnt.
Problem im having now is that the phone works on Orange and T-Mobile UK but no longer works on Vodafone and O2 UK.
Im assuming this problem is with the radio, how can i remove this?
I have tried the method with a MiniSD card, it flashes the bootloader but still gives me the same problem and Olipro Hard-SPL 1.40 is still on the phone
Does anyone have a solution PLEASE? or a workaround so i can get at least Vodafone working again?

Spv c500 c550audiovox problem ??

I have spv c500 c550 Audiovox but write data crashes, please contact your service provider.
Please help me to solve this problem in advance
Thank you
You have messed around with the encrypted block (CID Unlock, SIM Unlock, IMEI change) and now the data is not matching your device any longer. There is no known solution to this, except that you pay some bucks to http://www.imei-check.co.uk/ who are able to restore it for you.
