I am running a vario 2 or tnty and want to run linux possably red hat on it ,but want to keep wm6 ... so the queston is .does anyone know of a way I can either multiboot my ppc or how to emulate linux....... I know I can run it as my primary operating system but would like to use it now and then . preferably off a storage card ?
I like to mess with most things on my pda I have got working win95,..a ps1 and anything else I you think of but this one has got me stumped !!!!!!!heer so any input would be helpfull

yep.. iirc the bluetooth stack supports most profiles..
my thought about this is...
the current rom for xda 2 only leaves 32mb free mem for the device..
which is the amount of ram free after a clean wm2003 installation on a magician, so maybe the rom out for xda2 is actually the rom for the xda mini/mda compact/magician...

yes.. it says its the wrong rom version.. but somehow im sure that its going to run.. maybe the htc rom is a hacked rom thats why it only displays the amount of ram a magician would have free after a clean install/hardreset...and now we have to rehack it?
I have installed this rom but it didnt boot in y jam, it only displays "Serial" and do nothing. I think the bootloader that comes with the .nbf file is only for the XDAII and for running it on jams we must change the bootloader with one valid for the magician.
If somebody knows how to change the bootloader of the wm2005 rom, tell us how please .

hi guys, i need some help from you tech guys, i have a new P6500 thats running WM6.1, unfortunatly we use a pice of software that wont run on it, it currently only supports WM5,
i am after a Rom to flash to the device to give me WM5, i understand that one currently does not exsist so is it possable to make one? i dont need all of the features working i just need it to make calls, get a GPRS connection and run the software, everything else does not matter.
is this possable ?
will windows 6.1 work on my qtek 2003?

If you have a HTC Himalaya you can upgrade to wm6.1 or wm6.5.

roms are custom made for a surden device roms from other devices will never work
best case they will refuse to flash onto the device
worst case they will make the device into an expensive brick
Hi guys, i'm new in this forum.. i need your help guys.. I'm new also in Windows mobile OS.. Please help me guys in updating my ROM into good one or latest.. because i dont want my ROM.. i just checked my ROM is Basics 211 when i start up my phone. this HTC diamond my mom just gave it to me so, i dont know whats happening.. i used iPhone in the past few months.. tell me what is the required tools in order to update my ROM guys.. i hate the present ROM basics 211 because it has a lot of bugs in my observation.. like music player it stops @ 1 minute.. and unlike what i saw in youtube.. other great ROM in htc diamond i fast.. unlike mine.. i don't like it.. Help me guys..
